Can you transfer game center to a different apple id?

Hi,
does anyone know whether it's possible to change the apple id associated with game center on an ipad - when I go into the account settings, I can change the email associated with it, the name, nickname, etc. but not the apple id... Does anyone know whether it's possible?

My experience is that I was successful at starting the account with my current apple id, but I am not seeing any games in the "Games" section. When I touch the "Find Game Center Games", it takes me to the Game Center web site on the Apple site through Safari.
Please let me hear your success and unsuccess stories

When my little sister got an iPod touch I let her use my iTunes account as I couldn't see the harm. Since then, I've got an iPhone and there's a problem with using the same account. Whenever she uses iMessage, the conversations come up on my phone and just now she shared a link to a game I don't play on my twitter! I don't want her to use my account anymore but she is very protective of her Simpsons and other game saves that she's spent months playing... Is there any way to create a new account and for her to keep the progress she's made in her games? She's only 12 hence the importance of the game save.

OK I have a question about "game center" Is it possible to log into the game center with a different apple ID, just within the game center and not anywhere else in the phone?

I have 2 Iphones, 1 is a personal phone and the other is a work phone, i will be using my work phone only right away, I have an appointed Apple ID on my work phone and i want to transfer my Clash of clans Village with out having to attach my other apple ID to the phone? It will depend on which iPhone you have, from what I can remember, earlier models dont allow mirroring/full mirroring. If you have the 4S, you should be able to mirror everything you see on its screen on your Apple Tv. I have the 4S and the 3rd gen Apple tv and I can mirror everything I see on the screen on my 4S on my Apple Tv.

Follow the instructions here or here; using the first set of instructions then requires syncing the second device with the iTunes library containing the content. If you want to transfer the game data as well, perform a backup and restore.

After 2 hours worth of searching with no answer, I decided to run a test and it worked. This is what I did to have multiple Game Center IDs on iOS7. (People responding may have over looked this detail because they assumed it was obvious, but it wasn't)
Answer: you MUST have multiple Apple ID accounts, however, you use the main one to log in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE.
1. I deleted the Alternate Email Address associated with my account
2. I created an entire new Apple ID with this email address
3. I login in to SETTINGS > ITUNES & APP STORE with my original Apple ID (credit card on file)
4. I login to Game Center, iCloud, etc... with my kid's NEW Apple ID
So purchasing still goes under our shared account and game center, iCloud, etc... go under my kid's Apple ID.

If the iPod was an iPod Touch and you had backed up the iPod in the past - yes you can restore the game data from the backup of the Touch. If you restore from the backup, you restore all of the data and settings that were on the Touch. You cannot selectively restore content - it is all or nothing.
You will need to sync the games back to the iPad as well and if all of the game apps and music are in your iTunes library on your computer, you can sync all of that content back to the iPad.
If you don't have any of that content at all in iTunes and you have no backup of the iPod, you can download the games and the music again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID and iTunes account that you used to originally purchase the games and the music.
There are some restrictions on this depending upon where you live but if you are in the U.S. you can download the content as I have stated above.

Specifically, I used the Migration Assistant to move music and photos from my old PC to my new MacBook.
Somehow, I missed the fact that it was creating a new user account when it was doing this. So none of music and photos are in the user account I originally set-up. Instead, all these files are now in a different account.
I'd like to consolidate all my files on the one user account and delete the other one.
Is this possible and, if so, how do I do it?

you can crop files from one account to another using the Public Dropbox which every user account has. Log into the user that has the files you want to move, then drag the folder you want to the new users' dropbox:
I suggest a small scale test on a few files first before moving gigabytes of files.

I can't view game center games

I can login to game center but i can not see my games. I used to be able to see them ok. Now alot of my games won't load properly. I have reloaded games etc, but nothing is helping. Help.

get your game center account set up, then go to the Real Racing app and start it up. You should get a little game center pop up at the top of the screen saying "Welcome back (your username)". Then Real Racing should appear in your games on Game Center

Swiping up from the bottom of the screen with four fingers did not bring up the app preview. A single press on the home button still brings me back to the home screen, but a double press of the home button does nothing following updating to 7.1 Given that, when I added a software home button as suggested by DIAVONEX, I found that all of the apps WERE still open! So thank you DIAVONEX, and you should be careful, bobseufert, as your information was inaccurate.( I did try turning it off and that didn't change anything. ) I don't really want a software home button on my screen, but I guess I will use it until either there is another update to resolve this glitch or someone else identifies a quirky setting that I inadvertently activated...
