Can you turn off notification icons and how do you do it?

Is there a way to turn off notification icons on your desktop? I don't necessarily want to turn them all off, just the things like Facebook, Yahoo IM, etc. Can you do that and how do you do that? Thanks!

Go to Solution.

Open your Profiles icon...
scroll down to advanced
Scroll to the one active and press Menu > Edit
and set the notifications as you desire. See your messages, yahoo, etc.
