Does anyone know if you will be able to open more than on app at a time on the new iphone 6 plus? I would like to multi-task with the app's in the new operating system.

Firefox 7 is a dud. Cannot open more than one tab at a time, will not open additional pages. Nothing you suggested has worked.

Be sure to read the End User Licensing Agreement for questions of this nature. You are allowed to install Logic on two computers that you own, for example an iMac and a MacBook Pro. You cannot, however, use the two computers at the same time if they are on the same network. Download everything on your computer in iTunes, then sync your iPod to iTunes.
You should be syncing (backing up) to iTunes and your photo app regurally, anyway.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

Some apps stay open when trying to close more than one app at a time in ios 7

I tried closing down 2 or 3 app at a time in IOS7 and there's always one or two that stay open. The icon at the bottom is still there but I've already swiped it up to close it. When I go out of the closing function and come back I see that they are still open and I need to close them again. I tried this on many ipads, iPhones and ipod touch and they all act the same way.

I guess you didn't know, but yes you can close more than one app at a time. You can close up to 3 apps at a time in the new IOS7 on the iPhone. Try opening at least 3 apps and then double click the main button to see what apps are opened. Then swipe to the left to see the three of them on your screen. Your not gonna see the ones on the side entirely but you can still put all three fingers on them, then simply swipe them up and it closes them up.
The thing is, when you have let say 10 apps open, and you start using this trick, some of them will stay open meaning you swiped them up to close them down but the bottom icon stays there. When you come back to your main IOS desktop and then go back to close the programs that you have opened, you can see that those apps are still opened. There is only like 2 or three out of all the 10 you had opened that stayed open, but none the less it's a bug in the system I presume.
You also asked about the icon at the bottom. When you are seeing what apps are opened, there is always a small icon at the bottom and on top you have a representation of what you were working on, and that is the part you swipe up. But often time the bottom icon will stay opened after swiping 2 or 3 of the apps to close them.

How can a file be accessed by more than one app. In my case I want to transfer a midi file from my PC to my iPod Touch and be able to open it from a couple of Midi Players which I am evaluating - or does each Midi Player have to import the file seperately for its own use?

It seems to me that what you want is exactly a session bean will do. The EJB container is responsible to maintain a certain number instances (configurable) of your session bean and serve multiple clients at the same time. Session beans are not necessarily destroyed after serving a client. If you configure your ejb server to have a pool size of 2 to 100, then you will always have at least 2 instances (no more than 100 even there are a lot of client access) of this ejb ready to serve. The only thing not clear to me is that do you want to use only ONE instance of this bean or you don't care as long as multiple clients can access this bean's service? Since you mentioned that there is not a real database access, you can certainly use a Singleton but a 'regular' session bean with static fields should do it also if these fields will not be modified by clients.

Using More Than One App At A Time

Does anyone know if there is a way to use more than one app at a time? It would be nice to get back to the home screen without quitting an app if you are in the middle of something.

I know I have seen some apps that specifically say that they can be used while surfing the web, etc. It may be a function of the app that it can continue to run while you're doing something else. I'm kind of surprised that a radio app wouldn't allow for that.

Photoshop can't open more than one graphic at a time without crashing

I get the error:
The instruction at "0x7c918af2" referenced memory at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "written".
Anytime I try to open more than one image in Photoshop at a time, regardless of how I do it - doesn't matter if I choose the image and "open in photoshop" or if I am in photoshop and go to "file/open".
It's Photoshop CS3. I have already uninstalled, restarted the computer and reinstalled. I tried to "repair/change" from Windows, but it asks for the CS3 cd and then CS4, which I don't have since I'm using CS3.
This is quite frustrating as it would be nice to be able to merge photos and the myriads of other things you can do with multiple images at once, if opening them does not crash your program.
