Canadian Premium Account - Will it work while I'm at college for 4 months in the States?

I'm thinking of switching to a premium Spotify account for offline content and no ads. However, I will be in the US for the fall semester and I'm wondering if there will be any complications with that? Last year at college I would switch my country because you only get 14 days for traveling. Do you get more with the premium account? Also, will there be complications with payments/deals?

As long as your payment details stay the same you are free to use your Spotify account abroad with no limits. The 14 day limit you experienced last year was because you didn't have premium and you were abroad, with premium there is no limit. Spotify will just keep charging your account for premium no matter how long you are in a different country. :)

My MacPro w/ OSX 10.6.8 runs GarageBand, SoundtrackPro and Logic 9 (Express) without issues.
Everything was installed fresh - ie no overwrite OS upgrades and no app version overwrite upgrades.
Just so we are clear - an UPGRADE would be from OSX 5 to 6 or from Logic 8 to 9 and involves a purchase. UPDATES are those decimal increments - 10.6.7 to 10.6.8 or Logic 9.1.3 to 9.1.6 that are free.
Sometimes the sequence of installs can make a difference.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.
If when you choose restore you get a message that the device cannot be found, download the file below
Apple TV Software Restore 5.1.1 (2nd generation)
Apple TV Software Restore 5.1.1 (3rd generation)
Then hold down the option key while choosing restore and select the downloaded file when prompted.

Yes, it should work. They are still purchases under that account.

I did buy it from someone in Jordan. So they might have got it from KSA, or UAE, or it even might be the same rules in Jordan. I don't think the imessage works even, every time someone sends me a message from their ipad it says "Not delivered". Maybe I am wrong?

There's two different versions of Flash. The ActiveX version for IE, and the Plugin version for other browsers. Did you install the correct version? This forum's software doesn't thing that Flash is installed for Firefox or the Plugin is disabled.

Save it to your Desktop. 
2. Close Firefox using File > Exit

after perusing other subjects with playback issues:
this is the fix:
-Launch Control Panel - Double click Quicktime, If you do not see quicktime, look on the top left side of control panel and switch to classic view. This will then allow you to see Quicktime.
-Now click the advanced tab and click on Safe Mode GDI Only, Apply, then ok.

New Problem with Gmail -- account will not work

All -- I am hopeful that you can help me here as I am about at my wits end with attempting to configure Gmail (of all things!) on my iPhone 4.
This is my 3rd Iphone and I started out by copying over the configuration from my 3G. All of my other email accounts worked great after inserting the password. Gmail gave bad user/password combo error. I tried about 5-6 times...still no joy. Had my wife type the password in to make sure it wasn't just me (nope)...double checked that the password still logged me in to gmail via web on the macbook (yep).
So I deleted the gmail account and started over from both selecting "GMAIL" and "OTHER" from the account type and following all appropriate instructions. I've also changed the password just to make sure there's no weird error with the password. Everything else on the iPhone 4 is working great...but I can't get gmail to work at all. Thoughts?

First time the account was still there.
2nd time the account was gone but after putting in new info the same bad user/password issue occurred.
Incidentally I am able to login to gmail via the web interface on my iphone...
IMAP and POP are both enabled in my gmail account.

My phone will randomly disconnect from the wifi and when I retype the password it says it is wrong. It will eventually work but I have to wait for a message to pop up on my screen to allow me to retype the wifi password.

When I first got my phone it worked perfectly fine with the wifi. Although later on I began to have problems connecting it. It will randomly disconnect from the wifi and when I try to retype the password it tells me it is wrong, although it is right. It will eventually work but in its own time, a message will pop up and allow me to type in the password and it will work. But sometimes it takes an hour or more and sometime it takes 10 minutes. I've seen where other people have had this problem but I don't know how to fix it. I'm not sure if it's an issue with my phone or if it's with my wifi. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Does this happen with all Wi-Fi hotspots? A specific one?
Have you tried forgetting the Wi-Fi connection and then reconnecting to it?
What about power cycling the Wi-Fi router?

One of the jacks is for audio in and the other is for audio out. Some select versions have an S/PD/F jack. Chances are the reason you are getting static is that if you plug an earphone into a microphone jack it will attempt to behave as a microphone. It will not operate properly.
So..a recap. There is only one earphone jack

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Mail on your Mac. I recommend the following steps for the issue you described:
If you entered the correct password in the password dialog in Mail, but continue to be asked for your password, try these solutions.
Open Keychain Access, then locate and delete the mail account password item.
Open Disk Utility, select the volume (for your hard disk or disks) in the list, click First Aid, then Verify Disk. After you’ve verified (and repaired, if necessary) the disk, try sending yourself a message.

Allow state machine while loop to end only in 1 of the states?

What is the best way to ensure that the while loop that surronds state machine case structure only ends in a certain one of the states?

I have solved the problem of having the VI not stopping (apparently it was due to an event structure). However, now I have another slight problem. I need the state machine to terminate on either of two conditions:
1) If a stop button is pressed
OR
2) if the end of the sequence is reached.
As I have implemented it so far the VI terminates because of the second condition and does not allow me to terminate it by pressing a 'Stop' boolean button. I know that this might be a bit fundamental and simple but I'm new with state machines on labview.

Locked 3Gs and Prepaid AT&T account: will it work

I tried to do a search but only came up with one post from 2009 re person coming from UK.
In my situations, I bought a locked 3Gs but don't want to get locked into a 2 year AT&T contract. If I were to buy a prepaid AT&T sim card, would it work for just voice in the locked 3Gs? Simple calls in/out, no data requirements, text, MMS, etc.
I visited AT&T store, they said Apple/AT&T lock out their own AT&T prepaid accounts?

AT&T does not support a pre-paid account with the 3GS, iPhone 4, and probably the same with the 3G.
AT&T knows the type of phone that is connected to their network.
If by chance inserting an existing AT&T pre-paid SIM card into a 3GS does work, once AT&T determines it is being used with a 3GS, service with the iPhone will stop, or a text message will be sent by AT&T indicating you cannot use the pre-paid SIM card with the iPhone.
