Cancel a subscriptions Unlimited World

Please cancel my subscription Unlimited World. My name account is cunizony. I have tried several time to cancel but there is no cancel subscription link to click. Please let me know if the problem have been solved

Hi Same Problem with me i am not able to cancel my one month free trial , Though i am just activated 3 day back , SKYPE is relly not doing good with this .
Please have this cancel buttons and other option very well and easily sptable , Stop making business by troubling people and making them fool.
Now please advice me where i will get this cancel supscription button for Unlimited World.
And if this will not happen on time i will make sure i will publish this everywhere how you are making fool of innocent people and i will also never use Skype in futuer.

I bought a Skype subscription , "unlimited world",...

First of all, i am writing this on my grandmothers behalf, she does not speak english and she is not very good with computers.
My grandmother saw an offer for unlimited free calls to the world, the first month was free and if she did not cancel her subscription within 27 days she would pay a monthly fee of around 10-12 Euro.
She thought that seemed to be a reasonable price and started an account. She got the comfirmation e-mail and tried to call her sister in Finland, but it did not work and it said she needed skype credit.
She sent an e-mail to you about this but did not even get an answer. It took me 5 minutes to find out that her account does not apply to mobile phones in Finland. My question is how hard can it be to reply to a customer in need. Where do i find the phone number to call you, if that is even possible, if not then start a phone support number in each of the countries you provide services and make it much easier to understand what i get access to with a certain subscription before i purchase it. Do you expect elderly people to be able to see what they are signing up for, when the headline is "Free Calls to the world unlimited", and the text that actually shows where it is free to call is tiny.
And it is not fair to have ads and offers in Swedish that people see and think "Let's try that" and when they need help with these services they are forced to be able to speak English. I live 2 hours away from my grandmother and she should not be forced to call me for help with something she is paying you guys for!

Sorry to hear about the mobile calls to Finland ending up not a Skype included feature of "Unlimited World".
Only 8 countries are included in the Unlimited World subscription as you may now be aware.
If your Grandmother wishes to call Finland mobile phones on a regular basis, maybe a one country choice (Finland) subscription may be better?
Another suggestion, if your Grandmother only wants to make a seldom odd call to a Finland mobile (and if this idea is possible), she could make a free Skype to Skype call to a mobile, if the mobile user has a smartphone capable of running Skype?
Send a cheap text message to the mobile to tell them to turn on Skype, in the response message that their Skype is on, start calling Skype to Skype to their mobile? I use this method sometimes.
I also understand that most grandparents do not have good PC skills too.

Double subscription - unlimited world & refund iss...

subscribed unlimited world via skype manager and using it already for years.
Nov/06 receive skype credit from skype manager.
this skype credited was somehow deducted by skype spersonal account and saying that I have subscribed another unlimited world through personal account. That means I have 2 world unlimited subscriptions at the same time.
immediately log in to the skype personal account and cancelled the new subscription of unlimited world and keep the existing world unlimited subscription.
no refund from the cancellation?

I had a small amount of credit when I signed up for the Unlimited World Subscription.
I'm calling a bank in the UK (def a landline), and Skype used my existing credit, then disconnected the call and now refuses to reconnect the call due to INSUFFICIENT CREDIT.
WHAT GIVES, SKYPE?????

You were charged correctly. The bank # you called is a very expensive UK "shared cost" premium line and is not included in any Subscription. Only calls to domestic landlines are covered.

Hello - I am trying (for the last hour) to find the way to cancel the Free Trails I signed up for last Feb 27th, before they come due in a few days. I have followed 2 sets of directions, but the teh words I am to click on never appear. Can you advise please?

Subscription - Unlimited World not active even aft...

Hi i got an email on the 6th July titled "Your subscription funded by PayPal has been cancelled" due to a problem with my CC linked on my PayPal account so i sorted that a paid for skype then got the email titled "We've delivered your order" but to this day i still cant make any free call to the locations listed (ie. Thailand Moblie) so as you see below next payment is due on the 6th AUGUST 2012

Subscribed to unlimited world premium (free offer)...

Hi,
i have today availed of the free trial one-month unlimited world premium subscription. paid it with my paypal account just so the process of availing the trial offer can be successfully completed. However, upon successful grant of the free subscription, i tried to use it but unfortunately i cant call landlines and mobile phones as the message is "You need Skype Credit or a subscription to call landlines and mobiles from skype".
what seems to be not right in this picture? please favor me with your prompt response asap.

How to cancel unlimited world extra subcription

i have active subscription of the "unlimited world extra" from june , and now i am returining to my home country. and want to cancel this subscription, but in subscription setting there is no button to cancel this . can you please tell me how can i cancel this kind of subscrption

You can check if you have this subscription from your account page and order history: https://secure.skype.com/account/purchase/history/orders
(d) The ‘Unlimited World Extra’ subscription has a minimum fixed term of 2 years from the date of purchase. You are not permitted to terminate it before the expiry of the 2-year minimum term except in case of breach by Skype of the Terms. This subscription is billed monthly as a recurring payment. The Skype Credit that is included per month as part your Unlimited World Extra subscription expires at the end of each month and you are not able to carry over any unused amounts.

Hello and welcome to the Skype Community!
Your account shows that is now working normally. The only call which was charged to your Skype Credit was one to a cellphone in Argentina which is not included in the Unlimited World Subscription.

Unlimited World subscription

I just paid my unlimited world subscription but can't make any call. I tried to call a mobile in China but it says I need to get a Skype credit. Why? Ipaid for subscription. I paid and payment is successful but can't even use it for calling. I need feedback. URGENT please!

You can cancel the subscription you just started, then sign up for the new Unlimited World subscription that includes calling to China. Be prepared for the higher price of the subscription with calling to China.

Urgent HELP with Unlimited World subscription rene...

Hi Skype gurus,
Is there any way i can contact the Skype team to run the auto debit for Unlimited World subscription again ?
I guess when the auto debit happened last time there was not enough money on the account,
Now i transferred some one to the nominated accout to have my subscription renewed, and i really don't want my Unlimited World subscription to get cancelled i have been using it for years.

Did you first register your Skype account in China? If so you will be automatically routed to our Chinese partner tom.com (We have a legally binding agreement with them).

Unlimited World Subscription now includes Brazil

Last Year I subscribed to two Subscriptions, one Unlimited World and a Brazil 400 landline. This year I cancelled the Brazil 400 land line because Unlimited World now covers Brazil... but they are charging me for the Landlines calls to Brazil...
The customer service states that Brazil was not covered when I subscribed on March last year, ok but this year when I renewed it was... shouldn't all new countries enter automatically?... I sent already to messages to customer service regarding this issue and they just ignore me... how can I contact them directly to solve this issue!!!!!

I've pasted in a copy of the message i received below and modified the phone number that was displayed. I've sometimes received these in previous years and upon expiration it's just allowed me to reactivate the numbers as part of my subsciption with no charge. I did go in and try to do this again, but this time around it was displaying a charge. As i renew yearly instead of monthly it's been a while since the last time this happened so i thought i might have to wait until the number actually expired to reactivate it as part of the subscription. Unfortunately when the numbers expired i tried again and it looked promising because there was now a reactivate link next to each number, but they brought me back to the same page again asking me to pay for something i thought i had already paid for.
This is where I relized that my account page showed my world subscripton was not due to renew until may and the lenghty chat sessions with skype support started that i mentioned earlier and there's been no progress since then.

What do I need to do?You can extend your number by signing in to your account. There won't be any break between subscription periods – the new one will pick up right where the old one left off.

Please note that Skype subscriptions are recurring by default.
This means that, unless you cancel your payment agreement, the system will automatically charge you to renew it.
I checked your account and can confirm that your subscription is still set to recur automatically. You do not have to take any action on your end if you still wish to continue using it.

Bizarre Cancellation of 12 Month Unlimited World S...

I have had a 12 month Unlimited World Subscription for years. At renewal this year my credit card had expired, so no payment could be made. I was not on Skype or email for a couple of days so I missed Skype's messages about this and when I came back my subscription had been cancelled. No problem I naively thought just call up and pay with another card. Nope that is impossible apparently. Talk to an operator for hours - no joy. All I want is my subscription back, but no-one seems able to help me. 24 hours ago I could have just renewed, and now I am not allowed. Why? This seems crazy.

If subscriptions are canceled due to invalid billing information you can just sign up again for the service with a new card and your new subscription will pick up where the old one left off. If you are trying to renew a retired subscription then you will be unable to. In those instances it's best to have a middleman billing system like Paypal to handle the credit card expiration update without a service interruption. Skype's billing system lacks any ability to update credit card expirations and they have yet to implement a solution. This has no bearing on who currently owns Skype, though it wouldn't seem unreasonable for them to address the issue before the end of the next century.
