Cancel an iTunes purchase from iPad2?

Is there a way to cancel an iTunes download made from my iPad2?

No there is no way to undo a iTunes purchase or get a refund. Once you purchase or download something you are stuck with it. You can not return it therefor you can't get your money back.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.

  • HT1918 I'm unable to make iTune purchases from my phone using my iTune gift card

I'm unable to make iTune purchases from my phone using my iTune gift card, the gift card information is entered on the phone and I can see the credit amount.

I am having the same problem and it is REALLY frustrating.
Exact setup that you have, COMCAST, PayPal, etc....
I have reviewed my account three times with my PayPal info and received confirmation from my PayPal Account but it still won't let me log in. Let me know if you hear anything.
    This is a REAL PAIN.

can i transfer itunes purchases from one of my accounts to another of my accounts?

No, all iTunes purchases will remain tied to the account that downloaded them, they can't be transferred to a different account (nor can accounts be merged).

Don't agree. I have two accounts, one for work which I set up years ago and bought a few tracks. I've recently bought iPhone and iPad and created a home ID and wanted to transfer the old purchaces. Everyone says it can't be done, but I've done it.
    1. on the iPhone/iPad change your "store" Apple ID to the one you want ot transfer from.
    2. go into iTune on the device and download the purchaces.
    3. on you PC/Mac change the iTunes login to the same as the device's ID
    4. sync your device
    5. change both ID's back and the purchaces stay on both iTunes and your device.
    Delmar,
The procedure you describe is putting content from two different IDs into a single library, which can readily be done.
However, each item of purchased content will still be tied to the ID from which it was originally purchased, and they will be treated separately for purposes of Cloud, Match, Purchase History, etc.

  • I want to cancel all my purchase from today, because it is mistake.

Who to cancel all my purchase from today.

Well, according to == the FAQ == about  Pending  status :
"•  If you paid through Skrill (Moneybookers), the order status remains pending until we have received your payment. Skrill may ask you for further verification and your order will remain pending until they receive all the necessary documentation. Your order status can remain pending up to a maximum of 14 days. After that, if no payment has been received, the order will be cancelled.
    •  If you paid via PayPal using an eCheck or Internet Transfer, your order can remain pending for several days.
    •  If you paid via PayPal and the funding source for the PayPal account is a credit card, if the order status is still pending after 24 hours, please contact Skype Customer Service."

  • How can one cancel an iTunes purchase after download has started

How can one cancel an iTunes (movie) purchase after download has started but not completed

The reply from cor-el assumes that the question was about an ordinary download, managed by the "Downloads" panel interface. A Firefox update does its downloading (before installation) with a different interface panel. I do not have a screen-capture of the actual panel in that it's appearance happened a few days ago and our final approach was to suspend the automatic download (note that that had been started in error), and then to do all the manual steps we usually would do for a deliberately, manually-started, update. But the "hanging in mid-air" update forced us to do that update in a way and at a time that we ordinarily would not do it.
I still contend that the Firefox update progress panel (whatever it is labelled) does *'''NOT*''' have any obvious cancellation interface, not even the "x" noted above. (... and if it *only* had an "x", in my opinion that would not be a sufficiently obvious interface as compared to having a "Cancel" button.)
I am replying in this thread on behalf of "shepdog" as I am our local desktop support for the particular Macintosh. Please consider this reply as a mark that the reply from cor-el, while it was a correct answer, was not an answer to the particular question that was asked, i.e., "Not Helpful".

  • How can I separate my daughter's iTunes purchases from mine (the paying account)?  Some of her music is dreadful and it keeps downloading to my iPhone.

Greetings all:  I've looked through the support communities and don't see this particular question.  I opened an iTunes account quite a few years ago and my daughter and I made purchases and shared home libraries and all was well.  However, as she's gotten older, her taste in music has changed and some of it is dreadful.   It keeps downloading (from the Cloud?) to my iPhone.   How can we separate her purchases from mine?  We have five devices authorized (her laptop, tablet and iPod and my iPhone and my laptop.) My account is the paying account.  Many thanks for your assistance!

    On your iOS device:
Settings > Music > turn Show ALl Music off
This will hide purchases that are not locally on your device.
In iTunes create a Playlist with just your music and sync only that playlist.

  • Is it possible to sync Itune Purchases from my IPod touch to my samsung 3 phone and if so how?

I want to access books I purchased on my Ipod touch, on my Samsung 3 phone?

If the music was purchased via iTunes, you can transfer purchases from the iDevice to iTunes.
With the device connected, do not sync, select File > Transfer purchases.
If the music was acquired via other sources, you are SOL.
Where is the backup that you keep of your media and other important files?????
I find it extremely difficult that someone would forget to back up their important files before reformating a computer.  IF that is the case, then I would say you just learned an important and possibly expensive lesson.

  • How do I transfer my iTunes purchases from one user to another user on my pc?

I have all of my itunes purchases on my brothers settings(user) and now I made my own settings(user) and I am wondering how I can transfer my purchases from my brothers to my new itunes(the users are on the same computer).

    From your OLD computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
    Full Details Here  >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751
An Added Bonus is that you will have a Backup of iTunes.

  • How can I download previous iTunes purchases from older apple id after my Mac is associated with my current one?

I have 4 MacBooks running MtnLion, iPad3, iPhones 2,3gs,4,and 4s,Time Capsule, and Apple TV....
I have 2 Apple IDs [email protected], and [email protected]
Almost all of my media is associated with gmail Apple ID. I want to retrieve my previous purchases, but don't need this Apple id aside from that.
All of my computers and devices are associated with [email protected] id (I've set automatic downloads on all devices for [email protected])
Now itunes will not let me download purchases I made on [email protected] for 60 days.....
I actually wiped my 15" Mac pro, installed MtnLion and set it up with the me@gmail Apple ID (both icloud and itunes) just to get my previous itunes purchases. I downloaded about half, and then got sidetracked. Now when I go into itunes on it and try to download the rest, it says this computer is associated wth another apple id and can't download for 60 days!!!
I tried deauthorizing, but to no end.

Multiple people can indeed use multiple Apple IDs on the same computer in multiple user accounts as long as they do not use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or re-download any past purchases. However, if you'll read the KB article I posted a link to you'll see that for the purposes of those services a computer can only be associated with one Apple ID every 90 days. If the OP associates their friend's computer with their Apple ID and downloads purchases from the purchase history the owner of the computer will be locked out from using iTunes Match, automatic downloads or re-downloading any past purchases.
It's not that the friend will be unable to use iTunes at all, but what the OP wants to do will associate their friend's computer to thier Apple ID for 90 days which may cause the friend some inconvinence.

  • I am trying to transfer iTunes purchases from my iPad to my computer before I upgrade to iOS5...

It gets to "starting sync" and then sits there for hours.  I have tried several times, rebooted computer etc... I haven't lost anything yet (and don't want to), but I'm getting frustrated and don't know what to try next... any ideas?

iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
Sync transfer is one way, computer to device, matching the device content to the content on the computer (except purchased content as mentioned above).  For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

Do not regard your i-device as a reliable unique storage for your media. It is not a backup device and everything is structured around you maintaining a backup of your media on a computer backup.

We bought a movie on the ipad but it is taking up a lot of storage.  If we delete it from the ipad do we loose it or does it let us download again?
