Cancel of GRN after Clearing from QM

We have one material for which we have mainatin QM view now we have created GR and thematerial is updated from Quality and laso the material is updated in store now the ,aterial is in store but we want to canel the GRN i have try with MBST and MIGO but system is giving as
You cannot cancel GR, since inspection lot is already partly posted
and also it is not aloowing to change the stock type in MBST
Now HOW TO CANCEL the GRN

Hi,
In SAP stand you can not cancel the GR once the material is podted to QA reason the moment you do GR system will create inpection lot and material is moved to QA. You have to go to QA32 to clear the material depnding upon the UD once UD is made automatically stock will moved to Unrestricated or Blocked type from where you can return to vendor in case of rejection.
But still if you wants to cancel there exit available in QA to cancel the UD after that you can cancel the GR.
What you can do is carry out return delivery with 122 for entire qty or partial qty as per your requirement Then do Re-GR for & complete the process. While doing Re -GR note that for exciseable material enter delivery & Excise invoice No with DOT to differeinitate invoice NO as you can not same invoice no twice.

We have raised one sales invoice (VF01). Then rcvd the down payment (F-29).
Finally cleared the invoice using F-32. Even after clearance, the system is allowing us to cancel the cleared sales invoice (VF11). Now my query how the system is allowing such cancellation when it is having subsequent document. How can I block such cancellation using IMG?

Hi Animesh,
In the Tx VOFA for the billing type to be cancelled(Ex F2), please
fill the field Copying Requirements(V_TVFK-GRBED_S) with '29'.
This routine prevents the cancellation of the billing documents which
have been cleared.

Macbook Pro Retina EFI update 1.2 doesn't clear from software update list after installing

I've had this problem for a few weeks.
I install the update via the App Store, the system restarts, but afterwards I get a notice from the App Store that the same update needs to be installed. If I look further down the list of installed items it does record the update as being installed, but I'm not sure if it was really installed.
Note: I have tried to install the update manually w/o the App Store, but I still get a notice from the App Store after restart that the update needs installing.
This isn't huge deal, but it's kind of annoying that I'm not sure if the update was installed or not, and frankly, my OCD kicks in whenever I see that this update is still not clearing from the list of items to be installed.
By the way, the update has to do with the nvidia card not losing performance after the computer wakes up.

Cannot clear answers in quiz after returning from jump to slide.

Hi, I apologize if this has been answered previously. I couldn't find a thread containing the information.
I recently upgraded from Captivate 6 to 8 (yes, I know...) and when I created the quiz for this project, I have the learners who answer the questions incorrectly going through remediation using the jump to slide on last attempt. The jump to works fine and returning to the quiz works fine. However, when the learner returns to the quiz, the previous incorrect answers are still displayed and the clear button is non-functional. This doesn't allow them to revise their answer and move forward.
I compared it to a similar project that I created in Captivate 6, and it seems that all the options in the quiz preferences and the question's quiz properties are the same, yet it is working properly in the Captivate 6 project (even when previewed in Captivate 8).
Am I overlooking something simple here?

Indeed, the On Exit event is not to be trusted at all, you need an
interactive object, that gets a double functionality. In the video it has
Continue or Return to Quiz, but you can also use 'Go to Next Slide' instead
of Continue. Sorry that I didn't point immediately to that video. It is
short but pretty clear.

Unable to cancel Billing due to cleared accounting document for Free Goods

I have a case as described below:
I.                    SALES ORDER CREATION
Transaction VA01 à Sales order is created for the following details:
1.       Material Normal (TAN) : 100 CAR
2.       Free Goods (TANN) : 10 CAR
II.                  Subsequent processing of sales order
a.       Delivery(1) and Billing (1) creation for the SO with the following details :
Material Normal (TAN) : 100 CAR
Free Goods (TANN) : 5 CAR
Status of accounting document after releasing billing document to Accounting: Not cleared
                Accounting Journal:

From the error found, we tried to reverse the cleared accounting document by using t-code FBRA:

Document xxxxxx IS NOT a clearing document
Question:
We have to reverse the clearing document first in order to cancel the related billing document but we keep finding this error, do Anyone have any advice to solve this issue?
We have simulated similar transaction in IDES and no problem is found, is there any specific setting in customizing that can allow cancellation of billing document regardless of its accounting document status (Cleared or Not Cleared) ?

It answers my question, I found the copying requirement using routine 029 was defined in the cancellation document section of the Billing type to be cancelled

Cancellation of GRN with QM procurement Active

Hi All,
   After receiving the goods(MIGO) in to QI stock,the QM procurement activated,now we are unable to move the stock to unrestricted nor cancel the GRN.
      For this GRN no Inspection lot generated,pls let me know how to use this stock or cancel the GRN

Hi,
You should not activate insp type for an material if Quality insp stock (Not managed by insp lots ) is already existing for that material.
In plant level QM settings in SPRO , you have "insp type for insp stock " under Insp lot creation tab. Based on the insp type mentioned here , you can create insp lot for already existing insp stock while activating the insp type using transaction QA08.
Ref the help tips provided by SAP for the "Insp type for Insp stock " field.
Inspection Type for Available Stock in Quality Inspection
     The system creates inspection lots using the inspection type entered here, if quality inspection stock is available when a stock-relevant inspection type is activated. This applies to quality inspection stock, which is not managed by inspection lots.
     When activating using transaction QA08 "Mass change of QM inspection setup", inspection lots are created in the background that manage the already available inspection stock.
     The parameters to control inspection lot processing (for example, the quality score procedure) are copied from the default values of the inspection type entered here.

Unable to shutdown or restart after update from 10.5 to 10.6

Hi,
I'm getting nuts with this.
After upgrading from 10.5 to 10.6 I'm unable to restart or shutdown.
The system hangs on a blue screen with a spinning wheel. I did an
update, not a clean install (that would be a horror trip with a re-
install AND reconfiguration of 50+ apps and is not really a solution :-().
I've read, that this problem occurs not very often but I'm not the
only one, who has it. Via internet searches I tried a lot but - nope.
I'm trying to find out, what causes the problem but nothing helped
me out of this trap.
I tried the following:
- PRAM reset
- System Management Controller (SMC) reset
- disabled all StartUp Items
- relocated the following folders to another location:
/Library/Preferences
/Users/myaccount/Library/Preferences
- did all maintenance procedures with Cocktail (Snow Leopard Edition)
- cleared all caches
- ran scripts: daily, weekly, monthly etc.
- took off all peripherals (USB, FireWire)
- removed third party Extensions out of /System/Library/Extensions
No success.
When the system hangs, the console looks like this:

Lost Developer Toolbar after upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2

After upgrading from 4.1 to 4.2.1.00.08, we have lost the Developer Toolbar.
Have others run into this with the upgrade or fresh installation of 4.2.1?
If so, what suggestions are there for fixing, short of reinstallation mentioned in this other thread:

Following the guidance there to look at the instance ID and other preference settings, I compared our three instances. The two that are not having the problem are both at 4.2.0.00.27.

You inspired me to take a closer look, and look beyond the upgrade.
After the upgrade, my application passed a superficial checkout. Later, I exported my application and in the export file, the Instance ID was not NULL. I had not noticed any problems with how APEX was working.
The problems of the missing Developer Toolbar, Instance ID = NULL, and a new one, did not occur until I removed my application and tested a clean installation of the workspace and application. This is the sequence of events. The immediate triggering cause is clearly one of the following:
1. Deinstall application (ID 820) from APEX 4.2.1.00.08 instance, running 11g (11.1.0.7.0).
2. Remove workspace (PVA_AH9_R12)
3. (drop the parsing schema, xxpva, and related tablespace)
4. (create tablespace and schema user, xxpva)
5. Import workspace (PVA_AH9_R12) from an APEX 4.2.0.00.27 instance.
6. Import application (ID 820) including supporting objects from an APEX 4.2.0.00.27 instance, running 11g (11.2.0.1.0).
The next day I noticed the Developer Toolbar missing problem, and found that Instance ID is NULL.
Also, after Exporting an application in Database format, I cannot download the file from the Export Repository. When I click the filename link, I get 'Access Denied' instead of the normal download dialog.
Does this suggest anything else I should look into?
Do you think I should post this as a new problem/question with more detail about the sequence of events?

ECC6.0 - PDF issue - Junk Character output after Upgrade from 4.7c

Hi All,
I am working in Uprgade project(from 4.7c Non-unicode system to ECC6.0 unicode system).
We are facing PDF output issue in ECC6.0 that means we are getting junk character output(screenshot is attached for your reference).
In 4.7c , we have stroed the OTF data in table after generated from smartform as we should not get different output in future. Whenever we need output of the same then we are getting the OTF data from that table and we will generate pdf through "Convert_otf" function module.This logic is working fine in 4.7c.
In ECC6.0 ,the same logic is not working as system is unicode sytem and we are getting junk character output.
As per my old upgrade project experience , i have used the below piece of code for solve this junk character issue but still I am facing the same issue.
Kindly note that in my old upgrade project i have regenerated the OTF data in ECC6.0 and used the below piece of code then I got correct output but here I have to use the old OTF data (from table) which was generated in 4.7c.
Please any one can give solution for this issue.

Hi,
as you can see in SAP notes 842767 and 1349413, spool data cannot be converted properly for all types in a Unicode conversion.
This might be possible if you have English (US7ASCII) characters only, but with Chinese characters I do not think that a small piece of code can do it ...

Performance issue after Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 with a select query

There is a Performance issue after Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 with a select query in a report painter.
This query is working fine when executed in 4.7 system where as it is running for more time in ECC6.0.
Select query is on the table COSP.
SELECT (FIELD_LIST)

I have checked with the table indexes, they were same as in 4.7 system.
What can be the reson for the difference in execution time. How can this be reduced without adjusting the select query.

ohhhhh....... lots of problems in select query......this is not the way you should write it.
Some generic comments:
1. never use SELECT
                   endselect.
   SELECT
into table
   for all entries in table
where.
   use perform statment after this selection.
2. Do not use into corresponding fields. use exact structure type.
3. use proper sequence of fields in the where condition so that it helps table go according to indexes.
    e.g in your case
          sequence should be
LEDNR
OBJNR
GJAHR
WRTTP
VERSN
KSTAR
HRKFT
VRGNG
VBUND
PARGB
BEKNZ
TWAER
PERBL
sequence should be same as defined in table.
Always keep select query as simple as possible and perform all other calculations etc. afterwords.

ich habe Probleme mit verschwommener Schrift im Dreamweaver CS3 nach der Umstellung von Windows XP auf Windows 7.
Ich habe folgendes schon probiert:
Bei „Bearbeiten“ und Voreinstellungen „Schriftgröße ändern“- das funktioniert leider nicht. (das hatte bei der letzten Umstellung auf Windows XP wunderbar geklappt)
Dann bekam ich im Forum www. office-loesungen.de den Tipp, mal über die Systemsteuerung-Anzeige zu sehen, welcher Prozentwert eingestellt ist.
Als ich den auf den mittleren Wert eingestellt habe, war die Schrift schon nicht mehr ganz so verschwommen, aber immer noch nicht richtig lesbar.
Auch Versuche mit Clear Type Text anpassen waren nicht erfolgreich.
Einen Trick gibt es, wodurch die Schrift größer wird
Wenn ich die Größe, die bei den bisherigen Seiten bei 0,75 lag , auf „klein“ verstelle, ist es für mich lesbar, ich könnte den Text so eingeben und auch lesen.
Allerdings wird der Text dann beim Hochladen auch größer.
Was kann ich jetzt tun?
Für baldige Hilfe wäre ich dankbar

I've done this multiple times and it produces essentially the same message, but there is a mention that a restart is pending. This is also strange because this is definitely not the case. First time I used CScleaner it took a while and was obviously busy correcting something. However now when I select clean all, it simply dumps anopther massive log file into AppData and says cleaning completed successfully. Now I just ran it again, so would you like me to post the more recent log file?

Cash Management after migration from 10.7 to 11i

Hi All,
We migrated from 10.7 to 11.5.5.
In 10.7 we used to clear Payments using AP. We are not using accounting for clearing.
The status of the Payment after clearing will be 'Cleared But Unaccounted'.
In 11i, we setup the Cash Management. We are planning to use 'Reconciliation'.
Now, in 11i, I don't want the old data to be shown as 'Available for Reconciliation',
since, they are already cleared in 10.7.
Can any one suggest me on this.
In the same way, the old JVs in GL also should not appear as Available
for reconciliation.
Appreciate your help in this.

New GP Task Items do not appear in UWL after clear item cache of GP System

HI, SDN Expert.
After I made some minor change in the GP configuration xml (changing the "createdate" format from "date" to "datetime"), I went to the Cache Administration Page to clear the item cache of my GPSystem. I went to register the item types for all system in the UWL Configuration Page.
After clearing the cache and register the item types, I started initiate some GP tasks, but now all the GP tasks are not appearing in the UWL any more.
I remembered last time the same thing has happened, but the GP tasks started appearing only after a few hours.
Now, it has been two hours wait, I still don't see my GP tasks re-appear.
I wonder any of you know whether this situation is normal? What is the root cause for this situation? And how do I fix this?
