Cancel/Rebill charges originated in Legacy

I wanted to see if there's any better way(s) than the below given approach for handling cancel/rebill charges that were originated in legacy. The process we have is something like this:
Step a) Analyze the billing history; access the legacy billing system to determine the earliest date that the cancel re-bill will be completed back to.
Step b) In SAP reverse any bills that have been generated in SAP. Change the move-in date back to the start date of the oldest incorrect bill from the legacy system. If the source of the error was an incorrect meter-reading result, the corrected read will be entered on the new move-in date. The account would then be re-billed in SAP
Step c) Use the bill simulation transaction (EA00, EASISI) to create simulated billing documents for the periods already billed in legacy. Note the simulated billing document number.
Step d) u2018Create Manual Billu2019, entering the simulated bill as a template and choosing the Reverse checkbox.
Step e) The account will then be re-billed forward in SAP from the revised move-in date.
Please share if you there's a better way of handling cancel/rebill charges that were originated in legacy.

Step A would definitely be required if the billing history is not stored in SAP. Steps B and C are not required but depend on your requirements and the individual situation. If the adjustment is only a price/quantity one, then Step D is the only necessary one to generate some new amounts. Steps B and C might only be required if the situation requires date changes or customer changes.
Vlado is correct that EBF enables a customer to execute corrections in SAP for charges billed in legacy and migrated into the bill history object.

Hi, I have a similar problem. I did attempt the *.rdf fix on a test system, but it didn't work (em:maxVersion was already 22).
We got about inflow of phone calls from our clients experiencing the problem mentioned above from the 2nd of July onwards... and more are phoning in.
All the complaints come from clients (+- 10 so far and rising in number) using Firefox v22 (we have checked), and all of them have said that it was working previously.
We downgraded one of the clients to an older version of Firefox, and it worked again. So far we are telling our clients to downgrade until a fix comes out, or use Internet Explorer (*blush*)

I have tried restarting iPhone while its connected to my macbook pro and when it restarts, I see it starts charging again.
After this, when I plug phone to wall outlet, it works perfectly and charges but next day again it stops charging.

Will Apple cover this under warranty if the port is damaged due to unknown reasons as its under 1 yr warranty?
Also, I am out of USA now and would like to know if I can send it through a friend and get it checked out by Apple tech...

iTunes will only import music purchased from the iTunes store. If you need to import music to iTunes from your phone that wasn't purchased from iTunes you will need to use 3rd party software to do so, such as Touch Copy.

I need to cancel future charges from being made on my credit card. I authorized one charge and I have had weekly charges ever since.

I also had some unauthorized charges on my iTunes account. However, it's not possible to find them now, in my purchase history. They were visible yesterday, but are not shown today. They *are* findable on my credit card, when the bank looks for iTunes charges on the card. A mystery, sort of.

Store Pickup Order Cancelled - CC Charged

To whom it may concern:
I was unable to get to my local Best Buy in time to pick up an item I ordered online for store pickup. I know I shouldn't post order numbers on here, so I'm hoping that you'll be able to look up my order by item, which is Archer Season 5 Blu-ray. I understand that a temporary charge is always placed on orders, but it was my understanding that the actual charge wouldn't take place until the item was picked up. The cancellation email that I received even stated, "Be assured that if you paid by credit card, it has not been charged." However, looking over my bank account activity online, I have already been charged for this order. I know it was this particular order due to the amount charged. Do I have to wait the usual 3-5 days for it to be taken off? Reading the policies, it shouldn't have been charged in the first place.

Thank you for being a loyal Best Buy customer. I can understand you concern at discovering that your cancelled order had been charged to your credit card, and I'm very sorry for any confusion this has caused.
As Sam mentioned, when you place an order on BestBuy.com there is an authorization hold placed on the card for the total amount of the order. If the order is cancelled this authorization is released, or otherwise when the order is picked up or shipped the final charge is processed. Using the e-mail you registered on the forum I was able to locate the order, and it looks like the authorization was released on 01/16. You should be able to view the funds back in your account at this time.

Invoice cancelation Date to original Billing Date

Hello ALL,
When we try to cancel the invoice which was created in Last Month it is picking invoice created date.When canceling an invoice, the creation date of the initial invoice is the default date for the cancellation. This causes an issue when the invoice was originally created in a month that is now closed.
for example invoice created in July .and July Period were closed. now when we are trying to cancel the invoice it is taking invoice date ie july.but where as it should take current date. please let me know how can i work around.

I have been reading this subject about how to influence billing date when canceling invoice.
I have the same problem, because copy control does not exit between F2 and S1 in SAP ERP 4.7, and I could not find any user exits that are valid for this purpose.
There are lots of user exit for creating or changing invoice but for cancellation, I could not find any that works.
I would be grateful if you could share how did you resolve your problem, or if you have some tips on how to resolve mine.

LC-e6e charger lights stopped blinking and had burning smell while charging original canon battery

The lights on the original charger of my 5dmk3 stopped blinking while charging the original canon battery and had burning smell. i have hardly used the charger as each charge would last me months. anyone know if this is a known issue with this charger. i never had any issues with my previous 30 d charger for 8 years. this one only lasted 2 years.

I would guess you would need to connect to the iTunes Store, click on your name in the right hand side, enter your password, and then change your account settings.

Invoice cancellation not clearing original entry at FBL5N

Hi Experts,
When we are doing a sales Invoice cancellation scenario the reversal accounting document is not getting cleared automatically, further it is posting as seperate line item at FBL5N. The requirement is to offset the entry of customer debit at FBL5N. Since the customer account debit is not getting cleared it is showing as due item.
At billing document settings we have maintained SD Doc category 'N',
It is picking up posting key 11 (credit memo) instead of 12 (Reverse Invoice) when I'm reversing the Invoice.
Where do we define posting key 12 for this scenario and do we need to create a separate document type for this or any other setting needs to be configured.

See Note 309208 - Negative posting not performed to know the possible reasons for not clearing. As SAP Note 1259505 - FAQ: New cancellation procedure in SD says:
"The most evident effect of the new cancellation procedure is the automatic
clearing of the accounting documents."
So, search in note 309208 why it happens

I imported my bh905 headset from china lastweek it comes with the best sound quality one can have but was sad to feel that there is no change in listening experience after anc is on i can hear all noises every thing only diff is green LED is switch on. What i feel mh anc feature is not working i am using samsung galaxy s via bluetooth and tried my ipod also. Another problem that my charging led also not glowing while charging but anc light is ok whenever ok switch on anc please help so much money spend and no anc experrience is really sad let me know some other way to recheck it thanks in advance

Ipad 4 not charging with the ORIGINAL Power adapter that came in the box. Can't charge my iPad. I plugged in on PC all night and has been charged to 7%

Yesterday, as usual was going to charge my iPad, it was at 1%. Well, I took my ipad charger (original Apple official, I want to clarify that as a first step, I'm using the brand products than Apple) and plugged into an outlet ... The ipad began loading the first two minutes , then I got a notification telling me that the iPad could not charge with the charger.
I was quite surprised by the announcement. I disconnected and reconnected it .... again, I received the same notification. Then I disconnected and tried it on another outlet ... anything, yet. then I tried it on another outlet and ipad started charging. but after a while I had the same notice, not paying attention to that. I left it charging and I removed roughly 25% that of fear for something to happen. also remembered that situation (made 2-3 months ago where the iPad was not charging but after waiting a while disconnected, reconnected it and loaded normally).
so I decided to wait to re-connect the iPad to the outlet. This time, I plugged it into the outlet (fully discharged) at night and expected to find it loaded in the morning. But my surprise is that it still is off, it did not load anything.
I Bought the iPad in December 2012. Do you think that my iPad is hurt?
What can I do? Ay recommendation?

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again. You may also want to swap out the cable, just to confirm or rule out that it's bad.
If none of those fixes work, make the appointment at your apple store and have them check it out.
