I need to cancel a cheque which is already cleared , can I do first FCH8 and the do a FBRA.
Please advise.

Hi,
Instead of doing FBRA, in FCH8 itself you can go for "cancel check payment" that reverses the pament docuemnt and the amount will be available for the vendor as open item

For others u need to need to cancel the documents in the reverse manner ( i.e Invoice, GR ...).

3. Add User parameter MMPI_READ_NOTE with value = current date in this format YYYYMMDD
4. Stop all processing that updates inventory values
5. Run t-code MMPI with correct period
6. Run Z_DEl_HIST_ENTRIES program
7. Take MB5L snapshot for all materials at company code fs01 for current and previous periods
8. Validate that values match on MB5L pre-post snapshots or are appropriate.
9. Unlock all users in PRD
10. Remove User parameter MMPI_READ_NOTE from user ID

For anyone that comes across this. I managed to fix the problem. It had something to do with the date on my computer. Mavericks installer apparently does a date check of some sort and that is where the error is coming from. Open terminal and check the system date. It may be wrong. Another poster in the forums told me how to to check the date and change it. Click here for the link to the explanation. Be careful because the date is in a weird format.

Every time i sync ipad2 itunes reinstalls the apps which are already on it

Whenever I plug my ipad2 into my computer, it starts to sync and then tries to reinstall all of the apps which are already installed on the ipad2. This is ridiculus since if I have updated an app on the ipad, it deletes it off the ipad and installs the older version onto the ipad since the update hasnt transferred over to my computer yet! This is getting really frustrating because it then means every sync is taking ages. once Itunes finishes the sync it then reports that it could not install several of the apps onto the ipad because an error occurred - 0xE800002E, but when I check the ipad the apps which is says are not installed are there still.
Any help would be much appreciated because this is driving me crazy!

Hi,
You need to first identify the asset document for that asste and then find out the financial document of that transaction which is cleared.
Then reset the clearing in FBRA
Then reverse in AB08

Error while installing oracle 10.2.0.3 in the laptop, which has already 9i

Hi all,
i have an error while installing 10g in laptop which has already have 9i on it.
10g version was 10.2.0.3, i know it will not support in xp, but in other system which has xp it was working fine.
System details,
1GB Ram,Win XP Laptop.
Oracle 9i already installed.
when i clicked on 10.2.0.3 setup.exe i get OUI.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
that same oracle setup file is working fine in other win xp system, but in this laptop system it is not starting itself, beginning only i will give error as mentioned above.
software is present in c:\a\b\c\d\e folder, i shared only e folder and in other system i opened that file it is successfully opening. i don't know why it is not opening in this laptop.what may be the problem. what i should do to resolve this issue.

thanks for replying, actually that software has included with demantra product, that same 10.2.0.3 will work in other systems which as XP, i like to tell 1 thing,
that software is present inside many folders like c:\a...\b....\c....\d....\e.... in this folder the software is present, is this could be the issue.
i shared only e.... folder and from other system when i click on setup.exe the OUI will open only in this laptop it is not opening.
please suggest me

Any script to cancel the PO which are not taken receipt from the back end?

We need to cancel the PO Shipments which are not taken receipts to reverse the encumbrnace budegatory amount. is there any script i can use so that i can cancel all the PO's which are not taken receipts or we need to manually cancel the each shipment by navigating in to the PO summary window using the Tools > Control option.
Please let me know your views..ASAP
Note: We are using the 11.5.10.2 version with encumbrance budgetary funds checking for PO's.

There is no documented,proven and supported way of doing such thing using scripts. Best to do it from front end; use dataloader for large volumes, and data loader in forms playback mode for larger volumes.

I have reinstalled my OS without time machine (using the disc). I want to restore some pictures in the iPhotos which are already in the time machine i was using previously. How can I restore iPhoto from previous time machine?

My mac book was incredibly slow. When I went to Mac store, they asked me to reinstall the OS with CD and not with the time machine. I reinstalled the operating system. But when I opened the applications, all those started as fresh applications as usual. I have the backup of all other data in another hard disc. But unfortunately, I forgot to copy the photos before reinstallation. I have those photos in my time machine back up. But when I opened time machine, it started like a fresh (very new) time machine and it started backing up my present OS (the reinstalled one). I cannot open the previous time machine, which is in the same hard drive. I wish to open the previous time machine to get the photos which are backed up previuosly. When opened the time machine disc (manually by clicking the icon), i can see all the thigs which I had previously in my macbook. But unfortunately, i cannot access those through time machine! Can anybody help me please?

I have created a custom segment & released it. But later when I want to remove a field from it I'm not able to do so. I tried to cancel the release of the segment & then make the required changes but while tried to cancel the release I'm getting an error saying "Error while resetting release of segment ZDATA_BASIC_SEG". Kindly let me know how could I remove the field from this segment. For your information the current release of our system is 700 & the release of segment is also 700.

As you said, current release of your system is 700 & the release of segment is also 700.
I tried to test the possible errors during the release of the segment. Please have a breakpoint in the program LEDIJF05 in the form CHANGE_CLOSE_SEGDEF. The error could be mismatch with the previous definition of the segment, where the release is not equal to 700.

How to make my iTunes Library use the music which is already on my NAS?

I know there have already been some posts around the forum about having the iTunes library on external harddrives or NAS's.
Though my question is different to that question and the solution for those can't seem to cater for my issue.
In the other posts, most of them have the music on their MAC's or MacBooks already, and it was more of a migration of their iTunes Library.
My situation on the other hand is this:
I have recently bought a MacBook Air and sold my PC Desktop. Before I sold it, I backed up everything to my NAS, so my music is now sitting on the NAS.
I am now trying to have my iTunes library on my NAS instead of my MacBook Air. Since my MacBook Air is only 128GB, I cannot store all my music on my MacBook Air then migrate it to the NAS (Via some of the solutions I've found online). So those solutions would not work for me.
That is why I am here, asking this question:
If my music is already on the NAS, I have a clean iTunes (No music in it), and I don't mind if I my music folders get re-arranged from the doings of iTunes. How do I make my iTunes Library accommodate the songs I have on the NAS?
The reason I want to do this is because currently I have an iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air and Apple TV. My home sharing is on, so as you can imagine, if I wish to stream songs, it would be handy to have them in iTunes.
This is my first question, once this is solved, hopefully it will simultanously solve a second question I have in mind (Regarding having all my TV shows and Movies to be in the iTunes Library as well, the contents are currently on my NAS too).
Your help would be greatly appreciated, as I am new to OS X (Always been a Windows person, as I was a big gamer).
So far, I have to say, my experience on OS X and the Apple ecosystem is fantastic!
