Cancel the quality inspection movement on good receipt

I am trying to cancel a quality inspection movement from qual. Inspect. to
unrestricted use. Here are the details:
1. A goods receipt was entered for Material XXX batch YYY for
1900kg. It was entered Aug 1, but was backdated to post on July
29.
2. I think an accident was made and the person
entered the good receipt into quality inspection status, rather than in unrestricted
use.
3. this person used the movement 321 without success .
4. Now it will not allow me to post goods issue with a back date of Friday
July 29.
When i try to reseverse the good recipt i received an error message Deficit of BA Stck.in qual.insp 1.900 KG
Message no. M7021.
Can you help me?

DVD's are only 640 x 480 (interlaced), so yes, the quality is not nearly as good. You should probably create your .mov in DV format to best match the DVD format

Early Inspection for a Goods Receipt for production order

Dear Experts,
This is with respect Early Inspection for a Goods Receipt for inspction type 04.( 03 is also active in material master)
We made partial confirmation 250 qty for production order using t code co11n ( total qty of production order is 1000).
made the usage decision with an acceptance and posted all open stocks. to unrestricted.
Now in second partial confirmation prodn order of 250 qty was made . This suppose to be rejected . but sytem will add this 250 qty directly to unrestricted stock . how to over come this .

Don't make the UD until all stock has been receipted?
You basically approved the batch. So why wouldn't the system put the stock to unrestricted?
Why would you make a UD when you still have stock to be posted anyway? You can post stock without without making a UD so why not just post some if you need it, and wait on making the UD?

Are you speaking of manually moving these files, or using an application to export?
When you use the the term "export", it usually entails an application performing some kind of file conversion, rather than a simple transfer. It is during conversion to another file format that information may be lost through lossy compression, or by settings of the export.
Anytime you convert a file to another format, there will usually be some loss or degradation. Tghis can't be helped, as one format may not support every information characteristic the original one did.

There is a good chance that the DVD is OK and the machine is OK since a DVD's resolution is set for a television and not for a computer with a resolution 4 times that of the tele (at least).
What are you using to play DVD?
What is the DVD and what does it say on the cover about resolution or aspect ratio?
Just because you have a retina Mac doesn't mean you will get an excellent picture from low resolution media, if you are using DVD player use the menu option for 'Actual Size' this will play it at the resolution for the DVD, any larger then it will start to pixelate.

Control on creation of inspection lot during goods receipt against process

Dear Friends,
When goods receipt against process order of say quantity 100 Kg is done in PP, inspection lot for the same of origin 04 is created in QM.
My requirement is that PP should be able to post 90 Kg in quality inspection and remaining 10 Kg should directly go to
reserve sample without coming in Quality.
Is it possible?
I have tried by changing material master record in MM02 for inspection set up data. But it is not serving the purpose.

Hi,
04 type of inspection is GR at the time of Production Order.
Whenever you do the production order quantity, an inspection lot is created. It will be created for full quantity which you are confirming (i.e. 100 kg will be considered and not 90 kg).
This material will be Quality Inspection.
You have to do Result recording and give usage decision.
While giving usage decision, you can allot 90 kgs to Unrestricted and 10 kgs can go as Sample what you desire.
Hope this will solve your issue.

Some quantity of raw material is cleared from quality stock of raw material storage through a MT 321. Pls tell me how do I get them back in quality stock again?
After getting the material back to quality stock in raw material storage, i have to reverse th MIGO doc.

hi
i think you have not fully gone through the link i provided.
After the stock has been posted to unrestricted stock .execute t code MIGO specify the movement type as 102( if you have performed 101 previously) then in the item detial you have to specify the stock type as unrestricted and save the document .
then do the cancellation of lot
for your information you cannot able to get back the stock in Quality inspection if the earlier posting has been done in QM ,hence you have to cancel the document and do the MIGO 101 again which will create new inspetion lot

Apart from Maintaining condition record as suggested in previous thread one more important activity is
In Migo screen on Header data section inside generaltab
just below Posting date feild you will find Printer Icon right hand side to that there is one check box, this must be checked either manually at the time of GR/GI creation or is preselected if the parameter NDR has been set to X (capital letter!) in your user master recordset. This is preselected if the parameter NDR has been set to X (capital letter!) in your user master record

Any script to cancel the PO which are not taken receipt from the back end?

We need to cancel the PO Shipments which are not taken receipts to reverse the encumbrnace budegatory amount. is there any script i can use so that i can cancel all the PO's which are not taken receipts or we need to manually cancel the each shipment by navigating in to the PO summary window using the Tools > Control option.
Please let me know your views..ASAP
Note: We are using the 11.5.10.2 version with encumbrance budgetary funds checking for PO's.

There is no documented,proven and supported way of doing such thing using scripts. Best to do it from front end; use dataloader for large volumes, and data loader in forms playback mode for larger volumes.

The system is not allowing to do the Quality inspection

Followings are the details:
1) We created the PO of Stock items and in PO the same material number
is created 2 times in one line quantity is 3 and other line quantity is
2.
2) we post the GRN (Transaction code MB01 and Movement type 103) for
the above 2 materials in same GRN with complete quantity (3 and 2
Quantity).
3) system generated the Material document with 2 lines as well as the
Inspection Lot for the same materia. This lot having the Quantity of
both lines as sum up (5 quantity in one lot).
4) user has taken the action and have done the usage decision (QA11)
for 3 quantity ( the system posted the Material quantity 3 in un-
restricted stock Movement type 105) and now the user is trying to do
the usage decision (QA12) from remaining 2, but system is allowing do
do post the reamining quantity and displaying the following message:
1 EA Incorrect posting to unrestr-use stock, error msg:
PU GR blocked stock exceeded by 1 EA : 818194 QG10 RF01 M7 22
The status is showing 'Stock postings not yet completed for lot'

GR via mvt type 103 is to blocked stock .
You already done UD via QA11 against inspection lot. and now partial qty i.e. 2 remaining in the inspection lot.
Just post the remaining Qty.
QA12 is used to change the UD, you change the decision but can't remove it from transaction. Simply transfer the 2 qty
May i know wat is the status of inspection lot ??
Which inspction type ou activated and stockposting is manual or via QM only.?
Better please provide screen shots.

Inspection lot for Goods receipt

We have material "X" of material type "VERP".
Batch Management is not active for this material.
QM procurement key is not active for this material.
No QM inforecord exist for material, plant & vendor combination.
Inspection type 01 is active for this material.
Usually till date purchase team was selecting stock type as unrestricted stock while making PO.
And after GRN material always use to get posted in unrestricted use without triggering inspection lot.
But today when a new GRN is posted with reference to a PO (in this PO also the stock type is unrestricted stock), stock get posted to quality stock triggering a inspection lot.
I have checked ,recent changes done in material master. But no relevent changes are done recently.
Can anybody explain why this is happened that the inspection lot get triggered for this GRN only? and though the inspection type 01 is active since long back, why the inspection lots were not triggered for earlier GRN?

When I investigate this issue it was found that through transaction QA08 the inspection type 01 was recently assigned to the said material by mistake. while performing QA08 the check box for change document was not active. and due to this there was no change history was available.So it miguided me that the inspection setup was active since long time back.But in actual this was not the case.
Any way, my problem get resolved.This is helpfull for other users also.

Best Way to Create a Goods Movement for Goods Receipt & a Stock Transfer?

This is for an acquisition, so I do not think BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE will work because we do not have a doc ref no. We also need to create a Stock Transfer movement.
Or we call BDC MIGO and BDC M1B1? There must be a better way. We are on 46C.

Best way is to use the SAP standard BAPI "BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE". So that for the long run SAP will support the functionality. If you go with BDC then we don't know what enhancement is going to come in the future??

How to find the serial number used during Goods receipt

Have used serial numbers whle doing GR, but cannot find the table where the serila numbers are stored.
table ser01 contains the material document and the serialization procedure. I want to find a table where the serial numbers that I have used for the GR, are store. I want to retrieve them and send them in an interface.

Material document
Physical Inventory document
Import parameters:
Input parameters which needs to be passed changes based on the type of document.
Following are required fields to be passed as input parameters to get respective document serial numbers
3. Material document
KEYDATA-TASER = 'SER03'
KEYDATA-MBLNR - Material Document
KEYDATA-MJAHR - Material Document Year (optional)
KEYDATA-ZEILE - Item of Material document(optional)
7. Physical Inventory document
KEYDATA-TASER = 'SER07'
KEYDATA-IBLNR -Physical Inventory document
Output table:
Serial Number details are retreived in the following table
SERNOS
Serial numbers can be extracted from field SERNOS-SERNR

1.Our client wants that he want to send back to Vendor, In which way we have to do in SAP?
In QM,Raise notification for rejected qty in special stock, this will carry task of return delivery.
2. Without Quality inspection User shouldn't do the MIRO?
User discipline only it will be solved or
Prepare user exit with help of ABAP'r
while goods receipt(MIGO) for all scenarios(under delivery/over delivery/rejected) in development,
Check MIRO for QC passed qty is allowed for bill booking, give meaningful messages for all scenarios.
3. Quantity was certified by 13 only, so the user should do the MIRO for 13 only, Kindly suggest iIn which way we have to configure in SAP?
Do return delivery for rejected quantity(2),if there excise,reverse it thru J1IS.
After finishing above steps,Wheu u do IV only Quantity 13 will flow.
Invoice verification will be done only for the accepted quantity.
Above solution will solve problem.

Inspection Lot Settings to create lots during MIGO
1) New Inspection Type Created as SG1 at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection types. The maintenance is a copy of type 01.
2) Assign Inspection Type to Lot Origin at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types. SG1 is maintained against lot origin 01 with variant 01.
3) Set Default values for SG1 at SPRO->QM->Quality Inspection->Inspection Lot Creation->Define Default Values for Inspection Type with parameters same as for 01.
4) In Material master for the record set the inspection setup in the quality management tab. put SG1 as active and preferred. Also set Post to insp Stock, Insp with task list, Auto Assign, Skips allowed, Serial Numbers poss, Control Insp lot as For each Material Doc Item.
I have to kow how to select the Inspection Plan for the lot and thus set the status of lot to released and get it ready for results.
I also have BAPI ready for Inspection Result.

I have tested it and was working fine till last thursday. I have the above mentioned settings even now in the system. Can there be anything else which the functional consultants would have change that affected the process. Anyways now the inspection lot is not getting created for the Inspection during MIGO and I am really struggling to find the exact reason.
For your info, I am working mostly on Utilities and so do not have much idea about the quality management stuff.
