Cancel within 30 days? Help!!!!!

I no longer want this product but was billed last month (it is still within 30 days). When I cancelled through the online site, it cancelled for next year but doesn't give an option to cancel for this year. Please help!

    You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:
    Apple seem to have made this as difficult as possible. You may be able to do this using http://expresslane.apple.com - Click on 'More products and services', then 'iCloud', 'Account and setup' then 'This topic is not listed'. Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. However you may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare.
    In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself.
    If it is more than 15 days since you purchased the storage you cannot cancel it for a refund; you can downgrade your plan as from your next renewal date. Please see

    I am elite plus member. I placed couple of orders yesterday, one for store pickup and one for shipping, both went through abslutely fine. I picked up the order from store and second one has been already shipped.
    Well, today when I went to place another order, it just gets cancelled within 10 seconds of the order, it says we could not verify your information. I am not sure whats going on, I have checked everything on my end all looks fine.
    Is there any glitch in system?
    Please help.

    That’s definitely strange that you would have some orders completed but then have the next few cancelled.  I’d be happy to see if I can help out.
    In looking over the cancelled orders, it appears that they were cancelled because we were unable to verify your information.  Generally that means that some part of your information is not matching up to what has been correct in the past.  This can be anything from a misspelling in your information to your billing address on your BestBuy.com account, not matching up with the billing address on your payment card.  I would recommend looking over this information to make sure that this is the same as your successful orders.
    In the meantime, I will reach out to our support teams to see if I can get any more information.  It may take a few days to hear back, but once I do, I’ll send you a private message with those details.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the envelope in the upper right hand corner.

    1. Tap "Settings"
    2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
    3. Tap on your Apple ID
    4.Tap "View Apple ID"
    5. Enter your user name and password.
    6. Tap "Country/Region."
    7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
    8. Select the country/region where you are located.
    9. Tap "Done".

    I just heard from my local sales rep that NI has decided to cancel Developer Days sessions.  While I understand the need to reduce costs in the current economy, I am disappointed by this decision.  Since I've never been able to attend NI Week I always looked forward to Dev Days as a great opportunity to learn advanced development techniques from NI engineers.  It's especially unfortunate with LVOOP apparently picking up steam among users.  People unfamiliar with OOP need some direction in how to get started creating good designs, and not many of them can spring for NI's course.  (I don't think the course covers object-oriented design anyway.  From what I understand it's more about OO fundamentals.)
    Rest in Peace, Dev Days... you will be missed. 

    I went to Dev Days in Dallas in 2009, and it was a great experience. It had the same feel as NIWeek 2010, just not quite the same scale and glam. Since the CLAD was given for free at Dev Days, I've been rockin' the title since Feb 2009 (as proudly as one can 'rock' a CLAD title...). I also heard that Dev Days typically gave coupons for certification - I guess these will be axed as well.

  • Homehub charges when cancelling within min term - ...

    Hi There.
    I just had an infuriating call with BT billing about cancelling my contract. I have no choice but to cancel within my minimum term as i will be out of the country for a few months.
    I understand that I have to pay the remainder of the 12 month contract (even if it is a rip off that I had to take a 'new' contract out to stop the almost doubling of my monthly bill, but that's a different story) and I genuinely have no problem with that, what I do have a problem with is paying for the homehub. I have 3 months left on the contract and BT would like £50 for it!? I practically had to beg for this homehub when i resigned the contract, it took multiple phonecalls to get one as every sales person i spoke to said no at the time even though my old homehub basically didnt work (when i finally got one the guy on the phone looked at my internet usage to see the barely any use over the last few months and took pity on me).
    Anyway the point is, with the homehub charge, it will cost MORE to cancel now and pay all the fees than to just let the contract run down, the man on the phone tried to bamboozle with **bleep** packet maths and claims that he is 'university educated' to prove otherwise which was completely laughable and infuriating.
    I don't even know why I am writing this as i know there is less than 0.00000001% chance of getting this fee removed, but the fact i needed a new homehub just to get broadband working in the firstplace is insult to injury here. fun times at BT HQ i'm sure

    I gave in after talking on the online chat and am paying the whole amount. On the phone to the first guy i said can i just return the homehub and not pay for it. "no, it's second hand, we can't reuse it after then so you'd still have to pay" well after a much nicer second phone call with someone else I cancel, then in my emails i see BT want me to return the homehub so they can reuse it. you couldn't make it up. what a bunch of conmen

    I am not a fan of Comcast so we decided to cancel them and try Verizon for High Speed. Unfortunately, in Boston, FIOS is not offered so I went with high speed internet. The high speed internet was not high speed at all and I require a high speed with Apple TV. So, unfortunately, I could not be offered anything faster at Verizon so I had to cancel. I only used it for 20 days and I was under the impression that I could cancel and get a refund if it was within 30 days. Now Verizon wants me to pay $64.00 for the 20 days of usage. I would like a refund for the 20 days. Can someone help me please?

    I will be cancelling too. I did like verizon but since we move and made our transfer to our new place. They want to charge us for the router that was in our previous home. And when I called to make the transfer I was told by their representive that we didnt had a router so I didnt look or worried about the router. Now that we are at our new home Im being told that I will be charge $100 for that router. And if I dont want to pay for I should go to my previous home and trying getting it.
    How could I do that if I have already sold home. Makes no sense.
