Canceled account but still receiving email notification
How can we stop FIOS emails for good? We closed our account 2 months ago (due to a move) but are still receiving general email notifications.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
It might be a non-email message...try this:
Homescreen > Messages > BBKey > Search
Set as follows (may vary depending on your device OS level):
Search Type: Local
Name In: Any Address Field
Subject Message: <leave blank>
Include Encrypted Messages: Yes
Service: All Services
Folder: All Folders
Show: Unopened Only
Type: All
That should return to you all unopened messages from all message conduits. Take action on whatever you see and that should clear up the counter.

Still Receiving Email Notifications
I am still getting email notifications from anything posted or updated on the Discussion for Apple TV. I selected "Stop email notifications" and the emails are still showing up.
When I originally posted my own thread, I selected "Receive email notifications" in the upper right box, think I would just get responses via email about my thread only.
What happened?Go to your profile page.
Select the Notifications tab clear out anything that shows there.
Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like
Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Manage Email Notifications
delete any that show
that should do it -
HOw can i fix this
I had the same problem on my iphone 4s and before I had realized it my phone synced up with my computer and deleted all the appointments in my outlook calendar as well. I run microsoft exchange and unfortunately my ISP doesnt backup for me so I am left reconstructing my calendar from scratch. Apple support said they had no idea why this had happened and couldnt help me. Not very reassuring.

Notification that you've received an e-mail? You don't, other than whatever sound you've set for new e-mail and the number shown on the Mail app.The new Message Center coming in iOS 5 seems to have more options for this.

I went to My Settings and then to Subscriptions. After many attemps, I am still receiving email notifications. Please help
Here is how it worked out for me :
- Go to “Subscriptions & Bookmarks”
- Go to “Email Subscriptions”
- Select all items
- In the drop down, choose remove all or delete all (I don’t remember the exact naming)

Contact iTunes support by clicking on support at the top of this forum and then select iTunes and then contact us on the bottom left.

I just got my daughter a new macbook pro. She currently shares my wifes apple id for iTunes on her iTouch. I need to set up an email account for her. Is there any way to set up a new iCloud email account but still use my wifes apple id for iTunes?
No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -
can you set up a new I Tunes account, but still use the same email address, as having problems with it keep telling me it has been disabled, no matter what I do to change the passwords, I haven't used the account since 2010?
Hi eddinchina,
You should have no need to use the Old Sync account.
As long as device or devices are Firefox 29 or later (They should all be Firefox 30 now) you should use the New Sync.
You may use the same email address with both accounts. -
How do I do this. Users without FormsCentral accounts or accounts with unverified email addresses cannot receive email notifications. No notifications will be sent until the accounts are created and verified.

i cant remember the answers to my security questions. i have reset my password and added the recovery email account but still cant figure out how to purchase new content. it asks me the same security questions. i also have a temp pin. how do i fix this?
If you've just added an address to your account then it will be an alternate/secondary email address, a rescue email address can only be added by answering 2 of your security questions. If you already had one on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email addressthen you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Recently installed Mavericks. Now when I send an email with picture attachment it is received by my gmail account but not received by applel mail. What gives?

I'm having problems with my email account. I receive emails when I'm in a wifi zone. But if the wifi is turned off and i'm not in a zone I don't receive my emails through the cellular network. Only when I power off the phone and turn it back on, do I receive the emails through the cellualr network (again with the wifi off)
In your email settings on the phone check to make sure it is set to receive emails on cellular network. It's a feature you can turn off so your phone isn't constantly updating emails on the cell network, but if you are usually in a place with wifi and aren't concerned about going over your data allowance, you can turn it back on.

My icloud account is not verifying it says check my mail witch I have done and I get a message say your iPhone for has been used to set up and Icloud account but still can not use the icloud can anybody help me.
Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email. -
How do I stop receiving email notifications from this suport community?
I checked all the "no" boxes on my email notifications, but still receive hunderds of emails a day.. please help!
No one here can do any more than tell you where the box to check is - you turn notifications on and off on the upper right clicking the notifcations link o using the manage notifiations link - https://discussions.apple.com/static/apple/tutorial/email.html
