  • I cannot cancel my subscription to Creative Cloud. Adobe won't give me a possibility

    I have been trying for about an hour to simply cancel my subscription to Creative Cloud; but Adobe just keeps sending me in circles. It is really maddening. Why can't I just simply cancel my subscription?? I thought Adobe was a legitimate company, but the way they are just sabotaging my attempts to cancel my subscription is beyond believe

    You may still buy CS6 programs or suites for a (larger) one time fee Creative Suite 6

    I have tried following the instructions for canceling my 12 month subscription to creative cloud (I am currently in the last month), but when I click on the link "Cancel this plan", I get the message:
    If you cancel your plan, you will lose access to certain features of your Creative Cloud membership, including certain applications, a higher level of services, and additional cloud storage. At the end of your current paid month, June 13, 2014, your membership will revert to a free membership, and you'll be billed 50% of your remaining contract obligation, as outlined in our billing terms. Memberships canceled within the first 30 days after purchase will be fully refunded by contactingCustomer Support.
    To cancel your plan, please contact Customer Support.
    So, what hoops do you expect me to jump through in order to actually cancel my subscription?

    So only completed 2 months of my yearly subscription to Creative Cloud but my business has gone bust and the tax man is demanding his money too and I need to sell my Mac.  So I am wondering is there any way to cancel my monthly subsciption?

    You can cancel, but Adobe will charge you a pro-rated amount based on (I think) what it would cost if you had used the month by month option. So for 2 months you would have been charged $150 so taking out what you've already payed, $60, you're out should cost you $90. Check with Adobe though, that pro-rate formula might be different from what I remember reading.

  • Cancelling my subscription to creative cloud

    I followed every link the Adobe site told me to follow in order to get my subscription to creative cloud cancelled. It is very frustrating because it is like a cardwheel, always brings you back to the beginning and then continues in a never ending loop. I'm definitely frustrated with this. If Adobe makes it so easy to subscribe, why is it so darned hard to unsubscribe?

    I tried to cancel my creative cloud account today given my rare use of the product (I am a hobbyist photographer) and trouble justifying the expense.  Once finally speaking to an unfriendly human and dealing with a language barrier I was put on hold three separate times after asking me the same questions repeatedly.  Each time I was  put on hold, it was not announced.  Suddenly, I would notice I was listening to hold music.  After 14 minutes on the phone and still finding myself on hold again, for something that should take 2 minutes online and to more that 5 or 6 mouse clicks, I remained unsuccessful at canceling, but not so successful at staying calm and patient.  I hung up.
    This is onerous, time consuming, and very disrespectful to paying customers.  I had always been happy with Adobe, but the new subscription plan is very upsetting to me and the greed and inconsiderate nature of Adobe, now, has me near infuriated.
    I know I am in good company, at least among my photographer friends, in having had quite enough of such and are saying good bye.  Adobe, let's see how well my credit card works the next time you try to bill it.

    as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
    Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
    I quote: ... helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.

    Sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.

The company I work for is now paying for my subscription (along with many other licenses) and I no longer need to pay for one personally. However, it is telling me to contact support on a forum? I'm not giving my personal information on a public forum. Why can't I just chat with someone? Or email customer support?

  • CS6 Apps Asking to "Renew Your Subscription" for Creative Cloud, for some reason.

    Hi community,
    I recently purchased a retail version of CS6 Production Premium because I did not like software as a service/Creative Cloud. Unfortunately, I got a good deal and tried it for a year. I did not renew, and removed all the CC apps.
    When I try to open any of the CS6 Applications, a window pops up asking me to renew my subscription to CC. This software has nothing to do with my CC membership, I purchased it in a separate, one-time retail payment. I have looked at the various other threads around and have tried all of the solutions mentioned: Including uninstalling and reinstalling, running the cleaner tools, checking the host and certificate files, no luck. I spoke to several people in several chat instances, all recommending a reinstall of software, no help.
    All I am trying to do here is run some software with a serial code I just purchased from Adobe, officially. Is there a way I can just activate it offline? I tried to do it per the instructions but do not have an option to "generate a response code". Am I being punished?

    i bought 2 license for CC but i can't download full version for this. it always show like "download trial version". Please advise

    Please check if the 2 license are for CC team or CC individual, if it is for Team then you need to assign seat by sending the invite from the admin console & the user has to accept the invite.

    I'm looking to buy subscription for CC, but I've a problem. I'm student living in The Czech Republic and CC for students isn't available for our country. I've also bought in past Creative Suite CS5 for students & teachers. Is there any solution for me to not pay the full price per month?
