Cancelling a product service request?

How do I stop a service request before Apple ships one of those boxes to my mailing address?

Contact Apple by phone or E-Mail..... I do not know the Apple support number so you will have to add some effort into this and do some searching!

  • How to cancel an iPod service request

A while ago I requested some iPod service, but I ended up figuring the problem out, and just forgot about the request. Now my iPod is fully dead, and I want to send another request, but it says I can only make one request at a time (because the other one is still in effect). Does anyone know how to cancel it? When I click on it, it says "no data".
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Max

just call AppleCare and tell them you need to cancel. They can look your dipatch up by iPod serial# or your dispatch ID#.

  • Service Requested what does that mean?

    Hello everyone,
i checked the repair service of my Ipod touch 4g and is says since two days "Service Requested". Do i need to send my Ipod first ? Or what do i need to do ?

    In the Email is says:
To ensure proper handling of your service request, take your product to The UPS Store. Please visit  The UPS Store locator and enter your zip code, then click Find. (Please note that using a UPS Drop Box or any other UPS location--other than The UPS Store--will likely result in unnecessary fees, shipment delays, and possibly the return of your product unrepaired.)
Please print this email and take it along with your product to The UPS Store. Do not include any other items, such as headphones or a power adapter, as they will not be returned to you.
At The UPS Store, please be prepared to provide your Repair ID, which is A91822557. This Repair ID should be available in the UPS system within one hour of the time the ID was created. If The UPS Store has no record of your Repair ID, you may need to wait a few minutes. The UPS Store will supply the packaging, ship your product to Apple using the Apple Corporate Account work order, and not bill you for this transaction.
To avoid cancellation of this service request, you must return your original IPOD TOUCH (4TH GENERATION) to Apple within ten (10) business days. If you no longer require service, simply disregard this email.
So i have to take it to the store and the will give me a box for my ipod right ?

  • Service request question with iPhone 4

Tody I requested a service on my iPhone 4 and did all the steps they required, and it went successfully. I took my iPhone to the UPS store and gave it to them while giving them my repair ID. Later I realized that I needed to change the return address so I called Apple and while I was doing this someone in the dispatch department cancelled my first service request. The representative that I had talked to was kind enough to create a new one for me and that worked out but I had already given my iPhone to the UPS store with the old repair ID. Should I be worried that I will not recieve my iPhone back now that the repair ID I used to give the iPhone to the UPS store has been cancelled? The representative told me that the dispatch department would take care of everything, but I am still worried that now I might not get my phone successfully returned...

    Hello Blowem,
call Apple Support back maybe in the AM
tomorrow to see if they have all of your
info correct. Make sure you have your serial
number and all of the UPS data on hand.
Be patient and polite. I have never had anything
but excellent support from Apple. Hope this holds
    true for you.
    Good Luck,

  • "Request Product Service" form on apple's website doesn't work

I'm trying to get Apple to repair my broken IPod. I go to the Request Product Service online form (http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod/), fill in all my info, and when I get to the page that asks "Describe Your Issue," I get stuck on the first part: "Select an issue which describes the reason for service," it says, and provides a drop-down menu - for which there are no options. Try continuing, and it won't let you. I'm so frustrated - is this Apple's way of getting out of servicing IPod's? It's such an obvious technical glitch in the form (I've tried using a different web browser, same thing happens), it's amazing.
What are my options? Take it to a store?

You can call apple at 1-800-275-2273 if your still stuck they will help you sort it out. By the way if you are canadian make sure you are filling out the canadian code, and same for u.s. good luck

  • How to cancel a service request?

I had been running the Ipod in the car and noticed it had gone into the red. I turned it off and it went off normally. When I got home I hooked it to the computer to charge and it froze up completely, no response to anything, hold button, click wheel, weirdest yet, the backlight stayed on permanantly. And the computer did not recognize that it was even connected in Itunes or as a drive.
So I freaked out a bit and after an hour or so while( after trying what I could which was basically holding controls down and flipping the hold button off and on ) I gave up and put in a service request, and went to bed.
The next day, I noticed that the Ipod was dark ( which I expected since the battery was almost gone and the backlite was stuck on ). But just for fun I press the clickwheel on and lo and behold, it came back on as normal. I hooked it up to the computer as usual and it was visible to Itunes and the computer as it should have before. So I went through the reset process just in case and relaoded my music.
So I guess there should be a 6th "R" Let it sit over night and see if it still screwed up the next day
Now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to cancel a service after already receiving the return box Which was very fast by the way. Like, 2 days. Anyway, I looked all over the support site and could not find anything that looked like what I needed.
Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to cancel the service request?

  • Request Product Service Form Broken...

I know that this may not be the right forum, but I can't find one that fits.
Of course, my ipod 20gig has stopped working. Right now I am trying to fill out a Request Product Service form and it's broken! Whenever I try to put in my postal code, it keeps telling me that is an incorrect postal code when it isn't! Is there someone that I can contact about this?
If I didn't love my ipod so much, I'd chuck this thing out the window. I am really unimpressed with apple as of lately.

You can call apple at 1-800-275-2273 if your still stuck they will help you sort it out. By the way if you are canadian make sure you are filling out the canadian code, and same for u.s. good luck

  • Service request for produce a product

    Hi experts,
A similar company to us is asking us to produce one of its products, due to this kind of requests are received rarely we do not want to handle them through a production order   at our plant,  we want to handle them through a service request
Can you tell me how to handle this kind of subcontracting through a service request?
What transactions I have to use to créate, process, close, etc the service requisitions?
    Regards,
    Arnulfo Cordero Pradel

    Hi Arnulfo
What exactly do you mean by service request? Is this a CS order? If it's the case, this is not the proper space to open your thread, since the SAP ERP Manufacturing - Production Planning (SAP PP) is related to production orders.

  • Does an item product from Service Request be an ECC or a CRM product?

    Hello
I am puzzled with item product which is used in a Service Request, mostly for dates, SLA and contract determination.
I wonder if I should create this "Investigation" product in an ECC or in a CRM? (of course I assume we are working with scenario where products are replicated from ECC).
This product is actually used only for technical purposes (in the standard not even visible on the screen), so maybe there is no reason to create it in an ECC?
What is the SAP best practise in that case? Do you know?
    Regards
    Lukasz

    Hello
When you create a service ticket in IC WebClient, in the background, the system creates automatically an item
in the newly generated service order (service ticket).
For that the DUMMY-service product (INVESTIGATION) is necessary, which is defined as default in the class CL_DEF_IM_CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI especially method IF_EX_CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI~PROVIDE_SERVICE_PRODUCT.
You can define the service product INVESTIGATION in transaction COMMPR01 or you can use and define an own service product with the BAdI for automatic service item creation:
    -> BADI: CRM_SERVICEPROD_BADI
-> IMG > CRM > IC Web > Business Transaction > Business AddIns -> Business Add-In for Service Orders in Simplified Help Desk
    Hope it helps

  • How to show product info in the Service Request Detail layout

I want to add product in the Service Request Detail , but can't not find the place to do that , is that possible in R16?

In the service request layout (step 3) you can bring in a field called "Product" which will allow you to pick a product.

  • Add multiple products to service request

    Hi,
Does anyone know how to attach "multiple" products or assets to service request?
Would it be possible we do programing on siebel API to customize this functionality?
    Thanks for the help.
    Sab.

    How about this approach:
    - keep the assets on the Account;
    - create a custom long text field to store concatenated Asset ids specific to this particular SR;
    - create a custom applet that will display the Assets and allow adding Assets from the list of Asset records associated with the Account.
or, if you get worried about the capacity of a long text field, use Notes to store the Asset ids instead.
The drawback, of course, is that the relationship won't be reportable in Analytics.

  • IW45 changes cancellation of confirmed service orders

    Hi Every one,
User is trying to cancel a confirmed service order using Transaction code IW45. When he cancells the service order it is showing the posting date is past date( order confirmed date). Not current date.
But when we do the cancellaton of production orders and goods issue against service orders it is showing current date ( default ).
As per user requirement the cancellation of confirmed service order should display the current date not past date.
Since IW45 is a standard process , then the user requirement is the cancellation of service orders posting date should be the current date but not the service order confirmed date( Past Date ).
Please let me know is there any possibility if so how??
