Cancelling out of enterprise e-mail set up

Can someone help - I have a Curve 9320 - I went into set up e-mail and must have gone to enterprise activation instead of general e-mail. Now I cannot get back to the original set up screen as the request for an enterprise account activation always comes up. How do I clear this to start again.

Ok, understood, and I've asked twice in this thread "If you don't have those icon choices, Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?", but you've not answered that I can see.

Can you try this: Please try this FIRST, using your BlackBerry browser...
1)
• Go to mobile.blackberry.com OR to www.blackberry.com/integrate
• Scroll down to Communication and then to Email.
• Choose the appropriate email set up options.
If that works and completes your email setup/editing, good.
If not, follow these additional instructions:
2) Register HRT: (OS5) Home Screen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scroll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 or OS 7 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced > Host Routing Table, etc.
3) Resend Service Books: Article ID: KB02830 How to send the service books for a BlackBerry Internet Service account. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
4) Then, with the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
5) Now, return to the 1) mobile.blackberry.com email setup as mentioned above and follow that.

Sorry, you have lost me since it appears that you have two completely separate issues here.
All that I can suggest is you start over and try to set up the Time Capsule again first...and then, once that is done and the Time Capsule is working correctly on the network....then, try to troubleshoot the separate Time Machine issue.
If you decide that you want to do this, we'll need some basic information:
Make and model number of your modem?
You are using OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), correct?

This is Md. Ashikur Rahman purchased a BB curve , model-8520 from India. Now I am in bangladesh & my service provider is Grameenphone. In the e-mail setup wizard I can see only one option which requires BB enterprise password to complete the set up. I think the other option- 'Add existing e-mail account' is locked.
My service provider is unable to unlock. How can I use that option so I can complete my e-mail set up & comunicate over internet?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Your service provider is exactly that...the provider of all of your services. If they cannot delivery PUSH email to you (or, for that matter, any other BIS-level services), then there's nothing anyone else can do.

I personally suggest the new Drobo FS. Since it has an iTunes server built in and you can use any size sata hard drive in it it is better and a NAS that has to use the same size drives.

And, you are sure you have provided the correct username and password for you email account? I'm not familiar with Virgin media, so you might contact their tech support to find out why you are having a problem sending mail but none receiving mail. I assume your mail account has always been POP3 and not IMAP. Typically, the outgoing mail servers are not the same for the different types of account service.

Finally got IMAP mac mail set up on my pc in outlook thanks to FANTASTIC instructions. Now when I go to delete my mail it stays on outlook (greyed out) and it stays on mac server. what is the trick to deleting it in outlook and having it gone for good on the server.
(obviously i don't know much but can definitely follow instructions).

Obviously Outlook does not sync with the IMAP-server immediately. I'm not sure what options you have in Outlook, but try "send/receive" and/or look out for any menu or contextual menu item which forces the account to get synced.

8110 Cannot install E-mail setting

The e-mail setting option on my Black Berry only has " Blackberry Enterprise Server" that I cannot find the other general e-mail settings. Actually I am not Enterprise Server user. Probably, I carelessly downloaded and installed this wrong version.   I tried to do "wipe handheld " to re-install  and use "application loader" to re-load the software. But it failed to re-install e-mail software . How do I get general the e-mail software back ?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier an inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
If you are certain you have the BIS Data Plan already, do this:
On your BlackBerry device, go to:
1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site:
From your handheld device:   http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402
Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and log in. Then under Help!, select Service Books, then select Send service Books.
From your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American Carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
WorldWide Carriers - Find your carrier on the list
3. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot. This reboot, even if you have already done this, is often needed to install the service books.

Enterprise E-mail only on 9380

Hi , I have acquired a 9380 to find that I am unable to set up a personal e-mail account because it only has settings for Enterprise e-mail. Vodafone contacted BB and said that it would cost around £100.00 to reprogram the phone for personal/private use.
Are there any other cheaper or alternative option.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Whoever told you that cost sounds (I will be gentle) quite misinformed! All BBs show Enterprise for email integration, and it's a matter of subscription to a proper data plan that enables also the Internet/Personal selection. That may come with a cost, but it won't be a one-time...rather, it'll be a monthly increase to your plan so as to include BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service, which is what enables all BB-proprietary services).
Unless...wild guess here...does the Vodafone network not natively support the 9380? If that is the case, then indeed there could well be some one-time costs involved. You see, each carrier decides which specific BBs that they will support on their network "automatically". Any other BB models that have the proper radios (so as to even be compatible with their network) would indeed require manual configuration -- since the carrier network does not natively support that model, it won't automatically register the device nor deliver the proper Service Books to enable functionality. If this is your situation, then that agent indeed may have been correct in what they told you, as it's not a simple process to bring a BB onto their network that it does not natively support.

I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.

9 times out of 10 I have to force-quit to get out of my g-mail. This only happens only on my i-Mac, never on my Macbook pro. Can anybody help ?

OK, you have iMovie 08, which is also known is iMovie Version 7.1.4. It has been a few years since i used this version, so this is based on memory.
The only components you must have in the Library/QuickTime folder are the AppleIntermediateCodec.component and the AppleMPEG2Codec.component.
All the others could potentially be causing problems. I would drag the DivX components, the Flip4Mac components, and the Google Camera components to the Desktop temporarily, so nothing is left in this folder except the two Apple components.
Then restart your Mac and start iMovie. If it works, yay!
If you still need these other components for some other app, you can probably get updated DivX components for free at Perian.org.
You can get updated Flip4Mac components by running WMV Player and updating. It should prompt you to update automatically.
I am not sure about the Google components, but if you are running something that needs them, it should prompt you to install the current versions.
If none of that works, post back.

The message says more "Logout has timed out because the application Mail failed to quit. To try again, quit Mail and choose Log Out from the Apple menu."
I tried everything. Still does not let me shut down.
Other programs will not shut down at this time, including Finder. I also know that the Time Machine icon has been spinning for over an hour. So I imagine we are in a loop of sorts.
Unfortunately, I have had similar troubles before that I did not record. So I figure I start now and see if somebody out there can help me.

I'm having the same problem (can't logout, shut down or restart), but the referenced solution doesn't seem to apply. I do not get a "Cannot connect to server" message, I just get a "Logout has timed out" message. It seemed to happen after an automatic software update that was supposed to involve a restart, but it hasn't been able to restart since.
Can you please clarify, what is meant by "delete the AutoLaunchedApplicationDictionary, which is located under the root node" (with reference to file loginwindow.plist)?
This is what the loginwindow.plist file looks like now:

I was at the genius bar earlier, and they said I need to 'archive and install' in order to 'reset the OS'... but there's got to be a better answer than that, no? Perhaps this plist thing? I'm surprised that even powering off the imac doesn't reset anything... it just comes back the way it was. I'm supposed to bring the 25 inch imac in to the mac store for surgery (archive and install), but seeing several similar cases on this discussion forum, without archive and install identified as the clear solution, I'm in search of a second opinion... or any suggestion for how to simply make this work the way it was before? Is it 10.5.4 that is causing this? Should I go back to 10.5.3?

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off.
