hi wondering if anyone can tell me how i would cancel all phone services on account holders account as account holder has been placed in a hospice tried cancelling the phone line and features at start of this month didn't appear to acknowledge after the account holder was taken into the hospice, just want to be sure that she and the rest of the family can be certain that the services have been cancelled and that she will not get any letters demanding payment for something that was already requested to be cancelled at the start of this month but doesn't appear to have even been acknowledged that it was requested.

How can I cancel my internet only but keep my phone service
I have the bundle which a word I don't really understand. Is that meant my internet and phone combined each other?
Whatever, the max Internet speed they can provide to me is just 3M. And I try to apply FIOS, however FIOS is not available in my area. 3M is really too too toooooooooooooo slow for me. When my parents try to look for service, they don't care about internet, but the amount of people who using internet in home is up to 3. Well, 3 mbs Is just Enough for one person. So if verizon don't have others plan I can use to higher my internet speed, the only choice for me is canceling Internet and try to look other companies' internet service.
How can I only cancel internet? I want save my phone service because I don't want to change phone number. However it seems there is not anywhere to do cancelation in website.You can't cancel Verizon services without talking to them. Call 800-VERIZON and press the cancel button(s). They will help you.

My contract end date is 10 January, 2014 and I wanna cancel the service as soon as possible. Right before coming to my country, I tried to cancel the service because but I did not have SSN and I did not know the account password. There was a possibility that the cell phone provider decided that password because he came to our college and sold a lot of phones to us (international students). Anyway, I am in Korea now not in the U.S. and wanna cancel the service right away. plz, help me out!

If phone service is disconnected can the iphone still connect to internet through wifi?
If I close my phone account with a particular phone service because I no longer need my personal phone, will my Iphone still work like an ipod in that it can still get to the internet through WIFI? Or general what functions will the piece of equipment still have? For example, will apps still work?

Changing the account holder on my phone account
we returned from overseas 3 years ago and on our return we had our phone line connected. The problem began when my wifes card would not work when we paid over the phone to BT so my boss kindly used her card to open the account. Ever since that time the bill has always been in her name and not ours although we have paid by direct debit from our bank account from the start.
We setup a broadband account with virgin but now would like to change to BT and have the BT account put in our name as i no longer work for this person or have any contact with them. BT have not been very helpfull with our problem and in the end i gave up ringing them. I did at one point tell them if i stopped paying the bill where would they go for the money as the account is not in my name which was replied with "we would then contact the account holder to sort out payment" all i want is the bill in my name??? And no i dont want to be cut off for ages and then be charged a reconnection fee on a line that i am still using!!
Any ideas how i can sort this out???

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum.
To have the account changed into your name I am afraid that you will need to cancel the current account and then setup a brand new order. BT are unable to just change the name on an account as a credit check is required before service can be provided.
Best bet would be to place a working line takeover. This means that your service will continue to work as normal until we put the account in your name. A working line takeover has a lead time of 11 working days.
As there is already a working line within the property you will not be charged for installation as no engineer will be required to carry out any work. Once you place an order a credit check will be carried out on your name, you may have to pay a deposit for service which will be refunded after a while. That really depends on the credit check result.

Living in Japan and I'm an American who just signed up with Soft Bank the phone service here and spent a TON of money on an iPhone. I can't figure out how to connect my bank account at home to my app account so I can Skype my family. Please help!!!! I don't have a credit card nor do they gove debit cards to foreigners here, or at least it's really hard so I'm using my bank at home and still have a debit there. My phone number is 8 numbers plus the country code which is strange! Another thing is I was given a phone email that I was told to use for texting but I'm not sure how that works!! It's so frustrating too because no one speaks English here and I'm not very tech savvy. God bless you if you can help :)

After getting a new desktop I downloaded iTunes and authorized my new computer and then de-authorized my old one, When I try to update my 5S it says my phone is not authorized and list my wifes email address as the account holder and not mine. It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? In 2013 I canceled my old bank account and transfered everything over to a new account. I've never been able to get ebills through my new account. I called Verizon as per the message on the site. Rep says I cannot sign up for ebills/automatic bill payments because i'm already signed up... Here's the thing though. I'm not. I used to be under my old bank account. Verizon points to my Bank. I call my bank and they point to verizon and say they've canceled everything... I call verizon back... and they point to my bank again... back and forth... So it appears that I will never again have the feature for automatic bill pay since their core team refuses to reset/override the existing settings. Is there any solution to this problem?

JonathanThis has me confused? Ebill will always occur that is not the same as the payment account. Do you have automatic bill pay as well?
If you go on to your my Verizon web portal and log in, under bill pay you can add the new payment card or bank account as a NEW payer account.
When I pay my invoice I sometimes alternate between cards, so I have both entered into the Verizon payment system. These accounts can also be edited if need be since sometimes your expiration date has to be changed, or your number on the account has to be changed. It is a real easy fix.
There is a big difference from paperless billing and automatic bill paying. One you view the invoice the other is an automated payment feature.

i have an iphone 3G 16GB 4.2.1 - i moved back to canada and got telus mobile service. they cant get phone working because cellular data network tab/button is not on my phone. How do i get it on there
OK. T-Mobile is NOT owned by AT&T... yet... The deal hasn't gone through yet. T-Mobie's US network is not compatible with the iPhone. Lots of things don't work right. There is not, and never has been an unlocked 3G sold in the US. Don't know where the phone originated, but more than likely it was in the US. If that's the case, the phone has been hacked/jailbroken to get it to work.
Have you tried doing a restore or restoring the phone as new? I have to warn you, if you do so and the phone is hacked/jailbroken, it will re-lock to AT&T and will become unusalbe. I think your best bet right now might be to save yourself a lot of grief and just upgrade to new phone from a legitimate source.
I would never even consider buying an iPhone on ebay. 99% or more are hacked, jailbroken and/or stolen. -
Erased all content on 3G but now won't sync with iTunes. Error states, "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started." I don't want phone service on this old 3G. Just want to use it as an iTouch. Any suggestions?

Every time I try to update the 4s or 4 it is saying not enough storage. I am really hating this phone now because I am not going to buy storage. We have 5 iPhones on our account and now because of iCloud it does this.
your iCloud storage isnt part of your phone, that is a back up for your phone, you have to delete things on your phone, so I recommend backing up your photos to your computer or iCloud since im sure thats whats taking up all your storage, then delete the photos on your phone and then update your phone using iTunes on your computer.

According to Apple's list (link above) you will probably want to pick up a Sprint or US Cellular model. HOWEVER, as I mentioned above I know that the Verizon iPhones come unlocked from the factory (assuming it will be the same for iPhone 6 and 6+). I DO NOT KNOW if the Sprint and US Cellular models come unlocked. But I am sure some quick internet research will lead you to the answer.
I think your goal would be to get a Sprint or US Cellular version. Also I believe a law was just recently passed that allows someone to have a phone unlocked by the carrier no questions asked. So even if the Sprint and US Cellular iPhones are locked you can have them unlocked.

Problem Exporting HD files CC 2014
Hi, I'm having trouble exporting HD files from a CC '14 project. I've tried ProRes 422 QT, MPeg2 HD and H264 HD. All of these are failing in both Encoder and when I try to export them directly from Premier. I was able to export a low res H264 though.
