Cannat watch any videos on any website

I have unistalled flash and shockwave, and after doing so I have re-installed flash. Still the same, when I use the browser I see a message saying (in Swedish) that there is some script problem. This happens every time! It is totally impossible to watch a video using this browser. Internet Explorer works almost 100%, and this is somewhat annoying!

There are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in this article helps: [[Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox]].
You might also consider disabling the new protected mode in Flash 11.3, since that feature is currently being debugged. See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": [http://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493 Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?]

    Hi ..
Make sure your Safari preferences are correct.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Make sure:  Allow Plug-Ins is selected.
If that doesn't help, please post the link to the webpage that requires the internet plug-in in your Reply.

  • Why I can't watch any video on Apple official website?

Why I can't watch any video on Apple official website? Everytime I open it it's only a blank frame. I have already downloaded QuickTime several times, it's a windows8.1 PC.

I am new to Ubuntu, but I see videos ok. Firefox may play some natively but I also have FlashPlayer installed. IIRC FlashPlayer is not on the original Ubuntu 11.10 CD but has to be installed as a separate Firefox plugin. From your system information aside it appears you do already have FlashPlayer installed.
    * Have you got FlashPlayer enabled currently ?
    * I Note you have [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DivX Div X] installed, which is not something I know about, but could that be interfering with some videos, have you tried disabling Div X.

  • Audio Failure Only While Watching Any Kind of Video Online

Both my internal audio unit and my external one (M-Audio Firewire 1814) are prone to this problem. After about a minute or so of watching any kind of video online, irrespective of website (YouTube, The Daily Show's Website, random embedded flash video, anything) or browser (Chrome, Safari), the sound starts to sort of disintegrate, stutter, and ultimately go out.
If I am using the Firewire unit, restarting the the device fixes it. If I am using my laptop's built-in audio, the problem is fixed by plugging in headphones, or unplugging them if they were in in the first place.
Note that this is not an issue with videos on my computer, only streaming online ones. I at first suspected it had to do with buffering and my computer not being able to handle the load, but even if I let a video fully buffer, I still experience this problem after a minute or so.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is all most unfortunate...from what I read in your post you have covered everything that can be done at your end....something is damaged on the Logic Board it sounds like...as to how much it would cost only the people that end repairing will know after it is diagnosed....take it in...tell them what you have found and tried so far...maybe that will help narrow down the problem...
    Good Luck....

  • I have a problem playing embedded .mp4 video files on safari? Any solutions to be able to watch these videos?

There is an important training website which I've to watch the videos on them cannot play on safari because it says that it doesn't support mp4 videos? Any solutions? Because I really need to play and watch these videos via my ipad4.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214
Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

When i watch vids on any website i see the same vid twice. One on top of the other with a green line dividing them
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == Today

First of all, Firefox support SUCKS! I am looking onto Opera or Chrome.
Here is my solution. I have WinXP 64 bit with a Nvidia card. I had the same issue and all I had to do is update the video drivers and it fixed the problem. Try this out.

  • Watching any kind of streaming video is a pain!

While connected to my TC's wireless network I'm not able to properly watch YouTube videos or any Flash video from websites like ESPN. The network slows way down that it takes almost 8 minutes to load a 30 second video. I've installed ClickToFlash to force Youtube to show me the H.264 version of their videos in Safari but I get the same results. I also have this problem when trying to watch YouTube videos from my iPhone's YouTube app.
If I disconnect the MBP from the wireless network and plug the ethernet cable directly from my cable modem, the videos stream flawlessly.
In my office I have a 1 TB Time Capsule (not dual band) and I don't have this problem even though there are more clients on the network. The settings on both TCs are identical except that I have the 5 Ghz band enabled on the dual band TC.

Please mention what kind of DVD it is? A movie? Where did you get it from? Parallels has nothing to do with DVD Player.
