Cannot Access Advanced Configuration / Setup
I have two WVC54GCA cameras and was able to connect to them, set up passwords and view them on my wireless network. Nifty.
However, I now want to edit settings under "Advanced Configuration" so that I can see them remotely. I am able to access the cameras via their respective IP addresses, but advanced config prompts me for a password, which is apparently not the same password as what I use to access the video of the cameras.
The prompt is : A username and password are being requested by http://192.168.1.106. The site says: "Administration".
Is this even coming from the cameras, or could it be my Linksys wireless router?
By default the username and the password is "admin" in lower case.If you have changed the password then, you need to use that password...If that is not working then, you need to reset the Camera and try..

SPA122 cannot access web configuration utility
The new SPA122 device connected to router through DHCP.
I can see IP-address on router's web page, can ping it, and receive it with ****110# IVR command.
But I cannot access web configuration utility in the browser: the page is unavailible. I tried to allow WAN access with ****7932#1#1 IVR action - the problrem still on.
Can You give me any advice what to do.You can also connect to the lan/ethernet side of the device, do an ipconfig /renew
You should get an address on the 192.168.15 network, the default for the router in the ATA is 192.168.15.1
Then you can set up the non default password, enable the wan web server (administration tab I think).

Satellite 1400-103: Cannot access the BIOS Setup
I'm having problems getting into the BIOS setup. At the 1st bootup screen I press ESC key then message appears Check system. Then press F1 key. Once key is pressed it doesn't take me to BIOS setup and laptop reboots. Any help will be much appreciated.
JamesNo it doesn't. There is a problem with the OS and I was gonna do a repair using an XP disk. I have been trying to boot from cd rom by pressing C button and I've also tried pressing F12 key to change boot device. The teacher whose laptop it is has put a bios password on bootup but I'm assuming this shouldn't affect bootup or accessing the bios setup. I'm not sure if it's a supervisor password or administrator password.

I cannot access NAS with Mac OS Yosemite
I 've red other guy's problems in threads like that https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Iomega-Network-Storage/Cannot-connect-from-OSX-Mavericks/td-p/1298155/p... but i haven't found any working solution.
I just cannot access my NAS from Mac computer with OS X Yosemite v. 10.10.1 installed.
The Lenovo software I've installed looks crippled. It doesn't even ask me for credentials, just displays a message
It stands for "There's a problem accessing server "ix2.local." There are no such share on this server. Check share's name and try again. I wrote above I cannot check share's name, because LAM doesn't allow me to enter any credentials. I cannot access any configurations of this program, because he "Preverences" tab in main menu is inactive. At the same time NAS works wee with a Win7 PC plugget to the same LAN.
I have Lenovo Access Manager 1.4.4.14439 installed
I have ix2-dl NAS with firmvare v. 4.1.104.31360
Can anyone help me?Hello mordor_warior
LenovoEMC Storage Manager uses the current Windows/Apple OSX user account to connect with the NAS. If there is a space in the username or does not meet the username requirements for the NAS, it can cause this issue due to a permission conflict.
I recommend trying to unistall LSM for now, then try manually mounting the shares via AFP or SMB/CIFS in finder using a username created on the NAS web interface.
If you are still unable to access the shares, you should double check that the computer is on the same local network ip range and subnet as the NAS you are having issues accessing.
You could also try allowing "everyone" permission in the web interface, this would allow LSM to access the shares on the NAS even if the OSX username does not meet the NAS username requirements.

Cannot access setup page.
My wrt54g works but I cannot access the setup page. A partial page does appear but with no tabs. I am using W98SE. None of the available download software accepts w98 and this forum is definitely a work in progress.
I have and had the same problem now with 2 different versions of this model. What I have found is that it often messes up when you access the setup page with a 100 MB/Sec connection! Soetimes it works fine, others nyet. Totally wierd but the proof is in the pudding. Go into Network Connections, select "Local Area Connections" and right click for "Properties". Along side of "Connect Using" box on top is the "Configure" button. Click on that and then select the "Advance" tab. Somewhere under the "Property" list is an item for connection speed and type. Most of the time it is maxed out. Select that item and in teh value list box find "10 MB/Sec Full Duplex". Click OK to back completely out and you are done! Sometimes you may have to unplug the router to reset both ends. If this is your only connection to a network, like at home, don't even worry about reseting things back to 100 Mb/Sec. 10 Mb/Sec is plenty fast enough for the internet (Faster then the cable modem is feeding you). If you copy massive files between home PC's you might notice a slight speed hit. By massive I mean 10's of MegaBytes or more.

since updating to Firefox 4, I cannot access my router's configuration page (http://192.168.x.x). When prompted for the username and password,Firefox's log in window does not accept a blank username field (The router does not require a username, only a password, and it's the default password). If I click OK, the password entry just comes up again. This works fine in other browsers. Is there anything I can do about this?
I had this issue, too, and fixed it by turning off the option "Tell Websites I do not want to be tracked" under Options->Advanced->Browsing.

Is there a way to access the web-based setup for my router if I cannot access the internet?
Okay, I need to change the ip address settings on my router. I have a WRT54G Wireless router. I cannot access the internet on my computer connected to the router, and do not know how to change the router settings without accessing the web-based setup page. So, back to my question. Is there a way to access this page if I cannot connect to the internet?
On the back of the router is a small reset switch. Using a paper clip or other small item, press the switch in and hold it for a few seconds. This will reset the router to the default IP address of 192.168.1.1. Enter that address in your web browser, and be sure your computer is attached to the router by an Ethernet cable. Don't attempt to do this using the wireless connection.
Once you have reached the web configuration utility you can change the DHCP settings.
To give your PC a static IP address you will need to open your network connections panel and, assuming your using Windows XP, make the changes from dynamic IP to static there. -
Wrt54g2-cannot access online setup page
after uploading the latest firmware today for my wrt54g2 i cannot access the web based setup page using 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 to verify settings.i can surf fine thru the internet except that page.please help
After a firmware upgrade, you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch. If you have not done this since your last firmware upgrade, please do this now and see if it corrects your problem. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.
To view the router's web pages:
You do not need an Internet connection. The router's "web pages" are built into the router.
Use Internet Explorer, it usually works.
JavaScript must be enabled.
Use a computer that is wired to the router.
In the non-working computer, temporarily turn off your software firewall.
Point your browser to 192.168.1.1 , then login to your router. Your user name should be left blank. Your password is "admin" (with no quotes), unless you changed it.
If you are using Zone Alarm, right click on the ZA icon in the system tray (lower right corner of screen) and then click "Shutdown ZoneAlarm", and see if this fixes your problem. If this does not work, try the following with Zone Alarm: Open the ZAISS control center, go to Privacy, then temporarily turn off Ad Blocking and Cookie Control, and see if that fixes your problem.
If you are using Noton Internet Security with the Add-on Pack, be sure to turn off the Pop-up Blocker, and the Ad blocker. Some users have reported that they needed to uninstall the entire Norton Add-on Pack.
If you cannot get anything at 192.168.1.1 then perhaps this is not your router's address. Go to "Start" > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
A black DOS box will appear. Type in "ipconfig" (with no quotes), then hit the Enter key. Look at the "Default Gateway". Is it 192.168.1.1 ? Point your browser to the "Default Gateway", then login to your router.
If the above fails, disconnect your modem from the router, and try again. If this corrects your problem, then most likely you have a "modem-router" rather than an ordinary modem. Report back with this problem, and also state the make and exact model number of your modem (not the router).
If all of the above fails, power down your entire system, unplug it from the wall, wait one minute, then power up and try again.
If all of the above tips fail, then reset the router to factory defaults: Power down the router and disconnect all wires from it. Wait one minute. Power up the router, allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes), then press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release the button and allow the router to reset and reboot ( 2-3 minutes). Power down router. Wait one minute. Connect one computer, by wire, to a LAN port on the router. Boot up system. It should work.
If the reset does not fix your system, then you need to download and install (or re-install) the latest firmware for your router. After the firmware upgrade, you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch. If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it. -
TS1398 During configuration I cannot access wifi to continue
During configuration I cannot access available wifi to continue
Then connect to your computer via USB and setup the iPad that way.
Do other devices successfully connec to the network?
Try powring off and then back on your router.

Cannot access AEx 802.11.n configuration any more
10.5.2 software German. airport extreme airport express 802.11n
Admin Utility sees the AE Base, but fails to read its config, so I cannot change any settings.
Reset to factory setting would be very ugly as a solution.
It happens since I tried to add a second configuration by duplicating the existing one. Now I use the old configutation, but after I manged to restart the AE base with this old config, I cannot access te AE base for configuration any moreFrom Control Panel open Device Manager and expand Network Adaptors. Right click on the Realtek Wireless Lan and select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab and the Wireless Mode should be set to IEEE 802.1 b/g/n. If it is set to 802.1 b/g then that is the solution.

HP Pavilion DV6-3029tx Cannot Access BIOS Setup
Hello there, I have used this laptop for nearly two years, if I remember correctly.
Basically, the problem is that I want to disable Function key, but I cannot access BIOS setup.
I have tried every combination of keys at start-up screen, from ESC to F10, none of them worked.
So I thought maybe an BIOS update can solve the problem (My current version is F.07), I downloaded firmware from HP support site and run it, know what, the screen flashed and system get restarted, but nothing had changed, I didn't get even an error message.
The problem is actually found by a HP supporter when I send my laptop for cleaning last year, he didn't manage to fix it at the time and problem became devastating for me lately because certain software I am using rely heavily on function keys. The only things "big" I have ever done to my laptop were updating windows 7 Home to Ultimate (32-bit) and partition, I am not sure if they were the reason.
The following is InsydeFlash log, I searched the error code and find somebody with similar problem here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-Systems-and/Pavillion-DV6-3125er-BIOS-UPDATE-Error/t...

Yesterday my device started giving me problems which I have never experienced before. It firstly deleted my call log, then when I restarted it completely two days later it reset itself. I cannot access my emails nor configure my mailbox, my contacts are all gone, I cannot access my blackberry hub as it has been saying "preparing blackberry hub" for almost the whole day and I cannot send text messages or anything. Even if I restart it-with or without extracting the battery. Nothing happens. I haven't done any software updates lately. PLEASE HELP!!!Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to reset the phone.
Try this first and if issue persists consider the options below if possible.
