Cannot access channels of sky milti-room

Hey,
I have recently changed internet providers and now cannot access the sky sports and discovery channels in my room.
The living tv works perfectly fine but I cannot view the channels subscribed to in my room anymore.
I am also unable to reset the details in the network section as it does not allow me to.
Can someone please help?

Why doesn't it let you as all you should need to do is press the red button on the network page.
Failing that I would give Sky a call with this.

Hi all,
my issue is about my ftp receiver channel. the channel cannot access a directory found in a server.
i am able to access the directory from an ftp cleint but the channel always get a time out due to an invalid address.
what is weird is that the channel is able to access the server but not the directory in the server.
i checked other issues in the forum but most wer due to wrong directory names and slashes...
can anyone please guide me?

Try the below:
1. Goto Start ---> run --> drivers --> etc --> hosts --> ADD YOUR HOST NAME AND IP OF THE SERVER HERE
2.Check the root for the folder to which the ftp has been given For eg: if the ftp is activated on the path C: driver\Inbox then in the communication channel just give the value \ and nothing else as it is directly accessing the folder and the path need not be given.
This should help.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I ran the first aid in the Keychain both for verification and for repair and both immediately returned with "no problems found".
As for the certificate, according the web administrator nothing had changed for the certificates.
even on the windows laptop I also get the certificate as being expired, but by simply accepting that I still have access.
I had a pop up every time that alerted me to the certificate issue, but whether I "continued" or not that still did not matter.
Yesterday, in an effort to find a solution, I went into the "details" and entered to trust this website.
Now that certificate issue does not pop up anymore. But I do not know how to reverse that either.
I have the feeling indeed it has something to do with a certificate, but how is the question.

WRT54G router cannot access the Internet

My wireless PC can access the router but cannot access the Internet.
When I ping linksys.com - the ping times out; however, when I ping my ISP I get 4 pings back. When I ping the router the ping is successful as I get 4 pings back.
I am sure there is a fix for this problem. Can anyone help me get connected to the internet?

I just got DSL in my area and installed it. I have a Linksys WRT54G router and a zyxek 660R DSL modem. I have a PC #2 in the room down the hall and a PC #1 in another room. I have a Wireless-G USB adapter in PC #2 (this is the antenna for the wireless connection). Everything is installed and PC #1 can connect to the internet through the modem and router. However PC #2 can only reach the access point (router) and will not access the internet. I can connect to the internet for PC #2 when an ethernet wire is used directly but it is not great to have a wire running down the hall. I pinged the router from PC #2 and the echos look fine. So it can certainly reach the router. When I use the Local Network tab and click on DHCP Clients table both PCs are displayed. So how can a PC use a wireless connection to reach the internet? I have spent 4 days already trying to get this to work. My ISP can't seem to help.

hi... logon to router's setup page and try changing channel to 1 or 11, click on the advanced wireless settings and try reducing beacon interval to 50, fragmentation and RTS threshold to 2304, also try upgrading latest firmware on the router...also
if you are using Win XP system try uninstalling the adapter from the computer...click on start >> programs >> wireless G USB adapter >> uninstall, put the CD in for the adapter and restart the computer, one window pops up "found new hardware" try installing the drivers, no need to install WLAN software or utility and use windows WZC (wireless zero configuration) to manage wireless connection...check whether it works for you or not and let me know the results.

If it's because you were using Office 2004, the eight year old version of Office that was written when Intel processors were not used in Macs, then there will be no fix. Lion dropped support for PowerPC applications, as has been widely reported since Lion's release last August.
You can upgrade Office 2004 to Office 2008 or Office 2011. You can use iWorks 2009 that can open Microsoft files. You can use a number of free applications that are also capable of working with Microsoft documents. You can go back to Snow Leopard, if you have a backup. Or, if you have an external drive or room to add a partition to your current drive, you can install Snow Leopard on it.

Cannot access MMS and Internet after OS upgrade

Hi all. I'm a new BB user. I got my Curve 9300 three weeks back. As soon as it was registered, I was prompted 2 upgrade the OS - which I did and subscribed 2 BB Protect. A friend sent me an MMS but I cannot view it as my settings r wrong. I cannot access internet most of the time, but can always access BBerry site. Please help. My carrier is MTN

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your wireless service provider for formal support.

Hi I have been trying to install im on both of my solaris 8 and solaris 9 the second time and I made sure all the directories, packages and prodreg and productregistry files are cleaned up. However during configuration of instant messaging (JES 2004Q2), we encounter an error: PLEASE HELP

Server with same Profile cannot access same networking

Hi,
I have a lab running 1 x Nexus 5010, 2 x FIC 6120'XP's, UCS 5108 and 2 x B200 M2 Blades. I have configured everything per flexpod guidelines (except I have only 1 Nexus). I boot from SAN over Fibre and zoning everything is working 100% My firmware is 2.1(1f)
Question:
Assinged to each blade is 2 vNICs connected to FabricA and FabricB (FabricA = port-channel from FICA to Nexus and FabricB = port-channel from FICB to Nexus - Nexus has 2 different port-channels conf for each link to each FIC)
After I install VMware, I tag vlan 10 (management vlan) for the management traffic of each VMware node. The funny thing is when I ping server 2, iget a response but not from server 1. Both are configured using the same service profile. If I ping server 1 from server 2, I get a response. This leads me to believe that for some reason the traffic is not leaving the FIC from server 1, but it is when using server 2. I have attached screenshots of both servers vifpaths.
Can someone please help urgently as this is driving me crazy as I do not know what the hell is going on.

Just found my notes on deleting the users profile:
"Deleted Profile logs back in with temporary profile.
This problem occurs if the current user's profile was accidentally deleted from the system.
Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry
1. Log on to the system by using an administrative user account other than the user account that is experiencing the problem.
2. Back up all data in the current user's profile folder if the profile folder still exists, and then delete the profile folder. By default, the profile resides in the following location:
%SystemDrive%\Users\UserName
3. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
4.Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
5.Under the ProfileList subkey, delete the subkey that is named SID.bak.
Note SID is a placeholder for the security identifier (SID) of the user account that is experiencing the problem. The SID.bak subkey should contain a ProfileImagePath registry entry that points to the original profile folder of the user account that is experiencing the problem.
6. Exit Registry Editor.
7. Log off the system.
8. Log on to the system again."

I cannot access the Advaced Email set up screen from my 9300 Curve

Can I talk to someone in Blackberry who can solve my email problem? Blackberry premium email team have been unable to help me for the last 5 weeks despite many attempts. Blackberry forums and BIS do not address why I cannot access the Advanced Setting screen to set POP/IMAP details for my primary email address from my phone. I have 3 other email address's working fine. I have had a 9300 Curve for the past year and this problem only occurred when updating the Blackberry software to 6.0 Bundle 2647 (V6.0.0.00 - Platform 6.6.0.223) 5 weeks ago.I am desperate for help....Jeff Dakin -

Cannot access Oracle BAM Start Page

Although Oracle BAM installation completed without any error and I can start BAM related services without any issue, I cannot access Oracle BAM Start Page because of the following error.

Although I checked ActiveDataCache.log, it is empty ( looks no problem ).

I've installed BAM 10.1.2 on Windows 2000 Professional. I have IIS 5.0 and Microsoft 1.1 .Net Framework installed on my PC. I'm able to use the Design Studio and Admin from Oracle BAM Enterprise Link. The installation completed successfully but I'm still not able to open the BAM start page.
I see the error:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.
Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

I've checked that OracleBAM appears as a virtual directory in IIS (from Personal Web Server) and there were no errors in installation. The Access Permissions is set to 'Read' and Application Permissions to 'Scripts'
Should the authentication mode take any other parameters ?
Let me know what can be done to resolve this issue.

Wism cannot access through web

Hi ,
One of the wism controller in the module cannot access throuh the web interface . ( ican access the second controller in the same module without any problem )
It may work after 2 -3 reboot or power off the module for sometimes .After sometime the same problem happens

i downloaded the sample code and as per the instruction i download flex builder, flash debugger. then i downloaded the sqlite3. in that i created registrations.db file and as per changed the db variable in .cgi file, also added the developer key and webservice url. but i am getting the following error.... i debugged the code and found the below information:- (i am new to flex and usually a dotnet developer)

it appears that you are using the RTMFP URI in place of the "web service URL". the web service URL would be something along the lines of http://something.../reg.cgi -- wherever you have installed the registration service.

PIX Users Cannot Access Other Websites & Email Servers on Same-Shared T1 Co

We are sharing a T1 connection with another business in our building. They have their own separate network environment from mine. I have a Windows 2003 Small Business Server behind a PIX-501 and the users in my network connect to the Internet via Windows Server?s DHCP and Internet sharing (NAT) services.
All Internet and email traffic is accessible except for those hosted by the other company who we're sharing a connection with. My users cannot access that company?s web server or send email to their email server (we all get 4.4.7 SMTP errors? days later after sending the message).
They have no firewall on their end; which is why I think there may be something wrong with my PIX configuration (see attached config file). I'm sort of a newbie with the PIX CLI, so any help I can get could be great. Thanks in advanced!

The problem is not with PIX. This is a common problem when sharing a T1 link as it creates a routing problem since routing cannot be done based on shared T1 channels. Your PIX config is fine and has nothing to do with this issue.
