Cannot Access .mac BIG PROBLEM

This is huge problem. My macbook does not load any mac.com/ pages. If it is mac.com/something it will not load. My imac will load. Any ideas.

Anybody else having this problem?

My Fusion drive imac cannot access the Mac fusion drive in bootcamp windows 7. even I installed the bootcamp 4.1on windows 7. It is trouble as I cannot get my file in the mac drive in windows.

Major Problem - Cannot access Mac

Due to my own stupidity I had reason to reinstall my OS X 10.3.4 onto my G4. I installed the first disk no problems but when the second one was finished it asked for my password.
I entered it but it would not work, I tried different ways (i.e. caps on etc.) and no joy. I know it is the right password, even the hint confirmed that.
I've no idea why it won't work but I can not access my mac now, is there a way around this or worse case scenario do I have to reset mac and will I loose everything? If yes how do I do this?

Cannot access Mac OS Partition from windows 8 running in boot camp

So I installed Windows 8.1 Pro through Boot Camp but I can't access the Mac OS partition from windows even though boot camp partition shows up while I'm on Mac OS. I have installed all the drivers from apple but still it didn't work. Then I downloaded Paragon HFS+ which was free for windows 8 and 8.1 thinking that this would solve my problem. The instructions told me to change the drive letter for mac partition from disk management by right clicking the drive pressing "change drive letter and path" button. But the "change drive letter and path" key in grey color and I can't press it. Can somebody please help?

Cannot access mac share anymore!!!

Why was I always able to click my share from my pc, enter my passwrod and get in, now NOTHING works! My password, nothing. What the ****? Can anything ever work corectly? Also it says secifically, use this name to access this compuer from another, it DOESN:T accept it. This is brutal, brutal. I have never had so many problems with a computer in my life. Mac newbie cannot access Mac Mini's Iomega 200gb external firwire drive

After a power problem - I powered on my Mac Mini to find no external firwire drive
I have my data backed up - so I reinstalled OSX
I am now at the stage where Disk Utility
can see the disk,
I ran disk repair - it said all ok
but no icon on desktop (I am logged in as Admin)
I plugged in my work usb disk its icon appears ok
the firewire reports its mount point: /Volumes/Iomega HDD
when I safari that it returns "you dont have permission"
but when I safari my usb drive I get to see its contents
it looks like I (admin) dont have permission on the disk - and "repair disk permissions" is not clickable
Its a step forward but I'm stumped - on the plus side I am learning OSX's quirks having been a micro$oft user for so long and was pleasantly surprised with os reinstall ease.
also finder finds all my stuff (but its in ghost font - unclickable ! )
is there some utility to force admin permission?
or am I thinking about this the wrong way?
I also am not too worried about reformatting the disk, as I have 99.9% of the data backed up (the only thing I thank my years of Micro$oft use for lol)
however a part of me thinks a reformat will give me a blank disk - with no permission
help!

Do you have access to another Mac? It would be helpful to try the external drive with another computer to make sure the problem isn't with your Mini (it probably isn't, just good to eliminate that as a variable). I don't know Dublin, but surely there's a Mac retailer somewhere that has a few demo machines out.
Alternately, you can create a new admin user on your Mini, log into that user, and try accessing the drive there. This would show you if it's a problem with your main account or specifically permissions.
You should also check your Finder prefs and make sure you have removable drives set to show up on the Desktop. Since you just did a clean install and this is the default (I think), this shouldn't be a problem, but it's worth checking.
If none of these steps yielded positive results, the next thing I would do is run Disk Warrior. This is arguably the best disk repair app for Mac OS X; it's definitely my favorite. Your external drive could have a corrupted directory or some other problems that Disk Utility isn't seeing/fixing for whatever reason.
If none of this works, reformatting the disk is the last step. As long as the drive itself isn't physically damaged, and the problem isn't something on the Mini itself, reformatting should fix the problem completely. And since it sounds like you have your data backed up, maybe you should just skip to this step and be done with it.

Mini Mac, Big Problem

My house has a wireless network that is maintained through a PC. My Mac Laptop has full, fast, wireless service everywhere in the house. I just bought a Mac Mini and it gets almost no airport signal in my office. My laptop gets signal sitting literally in front of my Mini, but the Mini does not.
Then sometimes I will have full bars of Wireless signal, but the internet won't connect at all.
I seem to gather that this is a fairly common problem. Is there anything I can do?

I have a Mac Mini, that also seems to be deaf, whereas the Macbook Pro sitting on the same desk has no issues. I am thinking the MacMini's antenna is not optimal. The MacPro has no issues, either.

Afterupdating to firefox4 cannot access webpages and when I try the system hangs and only clears with reboot but access is ok with internet explorer

have tried uninstalling and then re installing but no joy. when I open firefox I can search as normal but as soon as I click on a site to open a page the screen freezes and I cannot access any other programs either

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

Accessing Mac HD from Windows through Parallels

Hi ALl,
I installed Parallels in my macbook and choose a 'NTFS format option' as Parallels recommended it. Once I go into Windows I cannot access Mac HD/files in it.
Could any body help me in finding a way to access Mac OS X files from Windows and also vice versa.

Cannot access shared external hard drive with other mac accounts

I cannot access a shared external hard drive with other mac accounts (all accounts are on the same macbook Pro). The shared external drive is shared via time capsule and is connected (of course) in USB. I see well this external hard drive as a shared disk with my main account. Yes shared option has been activated with the Airport Utility .. but when I open other account these othe accounts can see the external drive but cannot access to its content that is flagged with a no way sign. Strangely enough when I close my main account and start opening a new session with one of the other account then fine I can access the external hard drive and its content .. BUT then it is from my main account than I cannot access its content the no way sign showing ..
Looks like only one account at a time can access the content of this SHARED external hard drive .. any one as an idea on how to really make it a shared hard drive so that all accounts on the same mac can also access it ? I am at my wit ends on this case. THANKS ..

Results of my enquiries at Apple Genius Bar .. the guys found the problem interesting. They've been unable to provide a fix neither to give any explanation as to the reason why. To be fair I was not much impressed by the technical level demonstrated ..
In the mean time I have found that if account no.1 can see the shared external drive content and in such case account no.2 (same Mac computer) cannot see its content (only the external HD with a no way sign) this account no.2 can UNMOUNT (by ejecting) this external HD from account 1 and then remount it (just clicking on the TC shared part in a finder window) and .. see and access its content ; whilst account no.1 cannot see its content anylonger. Unless it unmounts the shared external HD and remount it .. then account no.2 can see its content anylonger. This can goes on an on.
So eventually YES the TC can allow to share a USB external drive between several accounts and a same Mac .. BUT this require to unmount and remount EACH time the external drive is accessed from a "no.2 account". So OK to share files with seldom access but not practical in case of frequent access needed.
I just I have now to figure how iTunes can automatically unmount and remount a shared external HD when it needs to access one of this shared HD content from on time account no.1 and then next time from account no.2. May be I am asking too much ..

I cannot access my app store after upgrading to Mac Os10.8.2

I have problem accessing to the software update or the app store. This all happen after i upgrade to MAc OS 10.8.2 and certain software upate. Now i cant access the app store. Everytime i click on it, it just bounce for a few second then stop. Another issue is 'finder'. I cannot access the download or my folder in 'finders'. Help....

Yes, if you can follow mcgerbs advice and re-install OS X. There isn't any archive & install selection in 10.8.
Boot up holding command-r keys into your Recovery Volume.
The screen should give you these choices...
Restore from TM backup
Reinstall Mac OS X
Get help online
Disk Utility
First run Disk Utility Repair Disk, if you get errors run until no errors reported or reports "the disk cannot be fixed". Then, choose Reinstall OS X. This will be an install "in place" and shouldn't effect any of your own data or settings.
