Cannot access messages

I received 2 emails today with alterts about new voice mail messages. I cannot access the messages when I open Skype. There is an icon showing that I have messages and how long each message is but it is not clickable for me to listen to. I am online.

Cannot access messages from my computer

i cannot get voice mail messages from my computer any more, it was working ok and then just stopped. I can access them from my handset though. when I click on voicemail in smartzone it redirects me to an advertisment about getting digital phone service. any help would be appreciated

Okay, so after a call (incoming or outgoing) has ended, the next time I flip open the phone I see this error message:
Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException
I click OK and thats that. The phone does not log the number of the caller or callee and the "messages" and "SMS and MMS" icons do not respond to being clicked on or the enter button and thus keeps me from accessing my messages/texts. I can still text if I go through contacts, and I do still receive them. I only can't access them.
Using the desktop manager software I check for updates tho the device is up to date and has been since I recieved it a few months back. Maybe 6 months or so. So any help would be appreciated... before I toss the phone on the highway or into a lake or against the wall or something. Thank you.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

I cannot access my ebay account. I can still look for stuff but if I try to login in I get an error message saying that the connection was reset. This is the only site I am having issues with. The site works with IE6 but I would rather use Firefox.

- Was having problems accessing messages on Facebook, seems to be working now
- Cannot login on ebay.ca or ebay.com
- Having troubles listing items on ebay (uploading pictures)... this started before the logging in problems
- Problems only on laptop, other PC in the not having any problems
- Can log in to ebay using IE on laptop, but I would rather use Firefox

I tried to download the latest version of iTunes but failed half way through. It suggested that i reinstall we I tried. However, i now get this message which states "Application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem"
I have tried this but with no success. I have therefore found that I cannot access my iTunes library at all now.
What should I do.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

If you removed the device from your iCloud account rather than using the "Stop Lost Mode" option, then you will most certainly need to restore the iPhone, and that will require a computer running iTunes.

In what way are you receiving this message? It is very common to get an email telling you that your ID has been disabled, and asking you to confirm all your details so the sender can steal your identity online.....

Cannot access music store - error message 404

ok- i guess i'm looking for an explanation more than a solution. while trying to download a song (as usual) this morning i received an error message for the first time ever. "cannot access music store. please try again later. 404" ... for 2 hours i searched the net for a solution, checked my firewall, even joined this forum. right before posting this message again, i tried to download the song so i'd be able to explain the error message in this posting. but itunes decided to work.
my question-- does itunes sometimes time out because of heavy traffic? will this problem lessen if i upgrade to a newer version? (btw- how do i do that? i checked off "dont remind me again" when the pesky reminder would pop up... now i want to upgrade.)

Hi - I have the same problem. With the additional wrinkle that I can't close iTunes when it can't connect to the Music store. I have to use Task Manager to kill it. I am totally fed up with Apple for their lack of support on this. However, I have had one thought though: I notice that iTunes registers itself with Windows Firewall as an exceptional program that is allowed to receive incoming network connections. I don't object to that - but the thing is I am using a network modem which has its own built-in firewall. If iTunes has to be able to receive incoming network connections, don't I have to configure the network modem's firewall to treat it as an exception too? I have just done a search for "iTunes Firewall" in Google and it came up with loads of promising looking stuff. I will investigate further.
