Cannot access my Optus account, but Internet explorer can

Hi, Using firefox I cannot access my Optus "My Account", to look at the details of my bills and amend/add to my profile. As soon as I am taken to the page where I should fill in my username & password I get a popup saying "Session already expired", before I have done anything. Don't have this trouble if I use Internet Explorer.
I can access all other Optus fields in Firefox. i.e. Home Page, My Usage, Mobile, Web Mail, Yes Tickets.
Any answers?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/Cookies

    I was using firefox before and it worked fine. But then yesterday firefox updated itself and since then it wouldn't work. its not the firwall, not a proxey problem, I had uninstalled it and reinstalled it but that didn't work either. Internet explorer still works and so does the wireless for the laptop but just for my desktop firefox doesn't work. Now everytime I open firefox or try any other site it says "can't connect to the server at ..." what do I do.

    Did you check your security software (firewall)?
    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

    From another computer, go to http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/, click "Free download" button, click "Save File" button, select your flash drive in "Save as" window. "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" file will be saved in your flash drive.
    You just need to insert it in your new computer and double-click on "Firefox Setup 3.6.13.exe" from Windows Explorer and follow instructions.

    Though my browser deletes everything before it exits out I didn't take any chance and ran CCleaner and in-spite of this I can't open Gmail. Mozilla says Untrusted Connection! Gmail opens fine on Internet Explorer. There are some other websites as well that do not open here. All this started after the last automatic update. Can you guys find a solution for me?

  • Default email app cannot setup exchange email account, but Touchdown app can

    Hello, I have been trying for two days to setup an exchange email account (my work's account) in a Xperia Z3 with no success. It works fine with my iphone and it also works fine in all my colleagues Android phones. In my Xperia I go to add new account --> put my email account and username --> select exchange activesync --> and I put my doman\username, password, server, SSL and also leave the 443 port (though I have tried many aleternatives), but it can never connect.
    I was thinking about returning my Xperia as I need my work's email and calendar in my phone, but then I downloaded the Touchdown app whic is an email app for exchange accounts. I used the exact same setup configuration and it worked flawlessly.
    The issue is that I still would like to use my default email app for all my email accounts, including exchange. Is anybody having the same issue? Is it a bug in the Xperias Z3 email app? Will it be solved? Now I am using the Touchdown app (it costs 20 $) but in my opinion Sony's email app should solve this issue.

    I am having the same issue with my Sony Xperia Z3v. This is now the second Sony phone in as many weeks I have tried neither functions properly with exchange email. My corporate email is with rackspace.com and while I can go in and set up the account the phone does NOT recieve emails via push. I only get emails when I manually have the email application refresh. Calendars and tasks also DO NOT sync automatically via push. I really need a fix for this or I'm going to have to send this device back to verizon for a Samsung phone. I like many of the features of the sony device over the samsung but Email is a major problem for me this being a company phone.

    To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
    Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
    Does it work in the new account?

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.

    I cannot access the other account due to I get automatically signed in if I go to gmail--and only to that one account. I wish to have a log in with a password back, ability to get to my second account also password protected. I tried just entering in address bar but didnt work. I need to access both accounts since I use them frequently. I also have a business account I cannot access due to the same problem.

    Hi, first try opening your Gmail account, then sign out.
    If that doesn't do it, open Options (cog wheel) - in the 3-bar menu unless you've moved it, > Privacy tab, then Show Cookies, and remove any Gmail cookies. You can also try clearing the cache by, in Options > Advanced tab > Network tab > Cached Web Content > Clear Now.

    I cannot access my sync account on any computer. I have tried to get it to send me the password so I can access it, but I never get the e-mail. Although I attempt to set up a new account in the event that I did not use that e-mail to set up my account and it says it is already in use. So I cannot access my account and I cannot create a new account with my current e-mail. I cannot move forward or backward here. Is my only option to go back to IE?

    You are right. Sync's reset password feature is broken at the moment.
    I found a bug where the issue is being tracked and as soon as a fix is posted there I'll update this post. It looks like the server that sends the emails is offline or having some other sort of technical issue. I can't say for sure b/c I don't work for Mozilla.
    Anyway, even the Mozilla employees themselves are unable to get their password reset emails. So take comfort in knowing that you aren't the only one with this problem. :) As far as how soon you can expect a fix? I didn't see any timetable for that. I'll let you know if that changes.

    After restarting system, I try to access my account but the password is not right every time i try to. Why??? What should i do?

    Boot into the Recovery HD and use the password reset utility.
    Open Terminal from Utilities.
    Type resetpassword and hit return
    Choose your Hard disk, then user, then follow the screen prompts to reset the password.
