Cannot access purchased apps

In the App Store and logged in on my my iPad 3. When trying to access my purchased apps, it keeps saying "loading" and never loads. This has been going on for several hours. I have closed the App Store and restarted. I have turned off the iPad and done a restart.

It is doing the same thing to me. There is also a problem with Genius going on in the App store currently and I read in another post here earlier today that Apple knows about the issue and is working on it.
Take that for what it is worth, but other users have also posted about the problems as well, so I would have to say that the issue is on the Apple server and they will have to fix it.

    OK, and when you say you cannot access purchased apps, I need to know what you mean by that. Where are you trying to access them? What happens when you try to access them? If you are getting some sort of error message, what is it (exactly).

    If she has trouble with the first advisor, she can always ask to speak to a senior advisor. However, AppleCare isn't really needed in cases like this, as the iTunes Store is quite familiar with accounts of this nature, and it's more of their speciality. Your daughter may want to contact them next time, but it's only email support at the moment (soon to change).

    Are you trying to access ITunes or the App Store? You can also try to change it through iTunes.
    1. Go to iTunes
    2. Click on the ITunes Store on the left hand side.
    3. Log in if it wants you to.
    4. If you look at the top of the iTunes window you will see your apple ID. Click on it.
    5. Login again. This will let you access your account.
    6. Click on View My Account.
    7. You can see all of your info now, including your payment options.
    See if you can edit it this way.
    If you can't get with those three options, try calling Apple. Those are the only ways that you can yourself, but if you call I bet they can resolve it relatively fast.

    I cannot download purchased apps such as keynote, numbers and pages on my macbook air and couldn't download  these as well including purchased whats app on my iphone. Pelase help.
    When I clicked on the 'purchases' tab in itunes store, it says no apps purchased. BUT when i checked purchased items, there it lists all the items i purchased.

    Usually this means that you have more than one iTunes account, and you are logged in to the wrong account (or a different account than the one the apps were purchased with).

    A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
    No content is affected by this procedure.

  • N97 Mini Cannot access Installed apps.

    I haven't installed any new applications games or widgets recently. But suddenly yesterday I started getting this error "System error" after which I am unable to access the Installed apps under Application manager.
    I wanted to troubleshoot the error and hence I thought of uninstalling apps to see which one is causing this problem.

    I managed to find a workaround. 1. Connect the phone with a computer in usb mode. 2. start installed apps 3. remove a couple 4. disconnect from the computer 5. Now you should be able to access the installed applications . 6. try to remove a few. from what I have read it cannot handle more than 60 or 100 applications

    If the App Store itself is frozen, quit the app completely and reboot the iPad.
    Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
    If the updates themselves have stalled - try some of these things and see if they help.
    Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
    If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
    Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
    You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
    You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
    If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

    Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
    I've also seen it suggested that people try downloading a free app from the store onto the iPad (as that seems to reset something), and then re-try the apps - the free app can then be deleted.

    Hi Try a Reboot press & hold power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple  Logo After that Sign out of itunes then Sign back in. Cheers Brian
