Cannot access setup page.

My wrt54g works but I cannot access the setup page. A partial page does appear but with no tabs. I am using W98SE. None of the available download software accepts w98 and this forum is definitely a work in progress.

I have and had the same problem now with 2 different versions of this model. What I have found is that it often messes up when you access the setup page with a 100 MB/Sec connection! Soetimes it works fine, others nyet. Totally wierd but the proof is in the pudding. Go into Network Connections, select "Local Area Connections" and right click for "Properties". Along side of "Connect Using" box on top is the "Configure" button. Click on that and then select the "Advance" tab. Somewhere under the "Property" list is an item for connection speed and type. Most of the time it is maxed out. Select that item and in teh value list box find "10 MB/Sec Full Duplex". Click OK to back completely out and you are done! Sometimes you may have to unplug the router to reset both ends. If this is your only connection to a network, like at home, don't even worry about reseting things back to 100 Mb/Sec. 10 Mb/Sec is plenty fast enough for the internet (Faster then the cable modem is feeding you). If you copy massive files between home PC's you might notice a slight speed hit. By massive I mean 10's of MegaBytes or more.

    Hi,
I'm trying to purchase $10 worth of Skypre credit. I entered my card information and clicked next and this error massage appeared.
    You cannot access this page.
This may be due to one of two reasons:
    1. The FI you are trying to access is deactivated
    2. The access to the FI is restricted for specific IP addresses, and your address is not one of them.
    Does anyone have a solution?

OK.  So this is an ongoing problem and has been for over 1 month.  The only way I could submit a payment is using paypal.  I tried a mastercard and Visa - neither worked.  Use paypal or transfer a bank payment - that is your best chance of updating it.  Apparently their technicians are working very hard to fix this but it's still not working.  Changing web browsers, computers etc don't work.  Good luck.  It's taken me 3 weeks to finally give up and use paypal.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

  • Cannot access login page and no wireless signal

Hello, I am using a WRT54G ver 2 router, everything was working fine until a couple of days, when just out of the blue my wifi stopped working, the wireless light does not lit on the router, I tried resetting, disconnecting the router and modem, and upgrading the firmware(which I cannot because I cannot access the setup page) and nothing seems to work, hopefully someone here can help me,
    Thank you
    JB

After a firmware upgrade you must reset the router to factory defaults, then setup the router again from scratch.  If you saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.
To reset your router to factory defaults, use the following procedure:
    1) Power down all computers, the router, and the modem, and unplug them from the wall.
    2) Disconnect all wires from the router.
    3) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
    4) Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release it, then let the router reset and reboot (2-3 minutes).
    5) Power down the router.
    6) Connect one computer by wire to port 1 on the router (NOT to the internet port).
    7) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
    8) Power up the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it is off).
    9) Try to ping the router. To do this, click the "Start" button > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. A black DOS box will appear. Enter the following: "ping 192.168.1.1" (no quotes), and hit the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that start either with "Reply from ... " or "Request timed out." If you see "Reply from ...", your computer has found your router.
    10) Open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to your router's login page. Leave the user name blank, and in the password field, enter "admin" (with no quotes). This will take you to your router setup page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually listed near upper right corner of screen). Exit your browser.
If you get this far without problems, try the setup disk (or setup the router manually, if you prefer), and see if you can get your router setup and working.
If you cannot get "Reply from ..." in step 9 above, your router is dead.
If you get a reply in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, then either your router is dead or the firmware is corrupt, or your firewall is still turned on.  In this case, turn off the firewall, and if you still cannot complete step 10, then use the Linksys tftp.exe program to try to reload your router with the latest firmware.  (If you have already reloaded the firmware with tftp.exe, and you still cannot complete step 10, then the router is dead.)   After reloading the firmware, repeat the above procedure starting with step 1.
If you need additional help, please state your ISP, the make and model of your modem, your router's firmware version, and the results of steps 9 and 10. Also, if you get any error messages, copy them exactly and report back.
Please let me know how things turn out for you.

  • Cannot access web page anymore

I can no longer access my banks web page anymore.  I was able to get to the page and sign in up to a few days ago.
When I try to get to the page I get a message that says "Safari can’t open the page “https://www.essabank.com/index.cfm?” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding."
I never had this issue before.
I have Firefox and it does not work on that browser either.
I have also tried RockMelt and Opera, again without any luck.
I have searched on the web on several forums and the advice I saw there for similar issues did not work.
I called my bank and they were not having any problems and told me the problem was on my end.
I called Verizon and they tried to help, even took over the computer and they could not get the page to come up.
I can access the page if I use Kproxy, but, I cannot access the bill pay feature that has a totally different error message.
Does anybody know how I can fix this issue and gain access to my bank's page as I did before.
This is extremely important as I need to get to the page and to my bill pay feature without any issues.
As I said, this had been working fine up to about 2 or 3 days ago.
    I am using Safari Version 5.0.5 (6533.21.1)
When I go to my bookmarks and previews, the preview for my bank is blank or black with the Safari logo and a lock on it, if this helps...
Any help is greatly appreciated as we really need access to our banks page and features that we use all the time....
Thank you in advance for any help with this problem.....

    Greetings,

  • Cannot access web pages

I have perfectly good Internet but I cannot access any web page. On each page it says this for example on Facebook..."Safari cannot connect to the server. Safari can't open the page http://FB...because dafari can't Connect to the server www.FB..."

Is the Safari browser set to work Offline?
What are you using at the moment to visit the Apple Site?
Do you have any other web browser, such as FireFox, etc?
Have you checked any web-dependant applications or system time server
to see if these are accessing the internet and are getting data flow, live?
Could be the content of certain web sites may require a flash update or
some other thing, if only Safari is acting up. My Safari (in older OS X) is
older, it sees little use; my browsers are many & other newer ones work.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Cannot access APEX pages from other IP in the same network

    Hi,
I installed APEX 3.0 on Oracle XE (Windows OS). The PC I installed has a static IP (no DHCP and DHCP servie is stopped).
I started the HTTP server and I am able to access the XE database home page and the APEX developer page and admin page. This PC has a static IP too.
When I tried to access the APEX page from another PC. It is not loading the page.
When tried using Internet Explorer it says "Internet Explorer Cannot display the page"
Please let me know whether I missed any configurations to the access the page from another IP.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Most likly the cause is windows firewall. Try the following:
1 - from Control panel select windows firewall
2 - click on the exception tab
    3 - Click Add port
4 - for name enter yhe name you want (APEX)
5 - For port number enter APEX prot number
Hope that will solve your problem

  • Farm Account cannot access some pages in Central Administration

I am working with a new installation of SharePoint 2013 farm using least-privileged administration. I used a server local admin account to setup SharePoint and to run the Farm setup wizard. During the wizard I used the domain account I had created as the
Farm account. Today I signed in to the Central Admin as the Farm Account (SYSTEM ACCOUNT) and there was a health analyzer problem to correct. "The server farm account should not be used for other services." In the announcement there is a link for
Farm Credential Management. I click the link and the page states "Sorry this site has not been shared with you." I tried to access Security, Configure Service Accounts and got same error. I am able to go to every other link as far as I can tell.
Can anyone share any advice? How can I get around this problem. Thanks for the help.

I am trying to access our site and I am getting the following. We were able to access it about 6 weeks ago.
It seems like eveything is in order but the iTuens U page for our domain does not load at all.
    iTunes U Access Debugging
    Received
    Destination cdnet.cod.edu
    Identity "Administrator" () []
    Credentials Administrator@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:cdnet.cod.edu
    Time 1176990393
    Signature 4d0cddabd4b91f6d6c460f3a73866958d49086910f455d8230d0bbaae560f1c6
    Analysis
The destination string is valid and the corresponding destination item was found.
The identity string is valid and provides the following information:
    Display Name Administrator
    Email Address None
    Username None
    User Identifier None
The credential string is valid and contains the following recognized credential:
    Administrator@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:cdnet.cod.edu
The time string is valid and corresponds to 2007-04-19 13:46:33Z.
    The signature string is valid.
    Access
Because the received signature and time were valid, the received identity and credentials were accepted by iTunes U.
In addition, the following 2 credentials were automatically added by iTunes U:
    All@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:cdnet.cod.edu
    Authenticated@urn:mace:itunesu.com:sites:cdnet.cod.edu
With these credentials, you have browsing, downloading, uploading, and editing access to the requested destination.

It sounds like you have debugging turned on. This causes the debug page to load. Check and make sure the code you have has the debug URL turned off.

  • Cannot access UltraSearch page

I installed Oracle 10g DB on my local PC (Windows XP).
When I try to access UltraSearch at
"http://localhost:5620/ultrasearch", I get "No page Found" error.
Is there anything else I need to do to bring up UltraSearch home page.

You also need to start the Oracle midtier service 'searchctl start'

  • After downloading ff4, ff will not launch. I am connected to the internet but cannot access any pages.

I recently downloaded firefox 4 on to my linux based notepad. This is an acer aspire one. Since Firefox 4 installed I have been unable to access any internet pages, through luanching firefox browser or the search bar on my desktop. I am connected to the internet through my home wireless connection, so don't understand why not able to view pages.

I have the same problem but can go on to some websites but not others. I have tried what was suggested about clearing recent history and also the proxy server but it hasn't resolved the problem.

  • OAS 10.1.3 - Cannot access Applications Page - ResourceAdapters error.

    Hi,
Whenever I try to access the applications page (e.g. http://<host>:<port>/em/console/ias/oc4j/applications) of the Oracle App Server web admin interface I get the following error:
    An error has occurred.
No ResourceAdapters found for the ResourceAdapterModule
    oracle.sysman.ias.studio.sdk.IASException: No ResourceAdapters found for the ResourceAdapterModule at oracle.sysman.ias.studio.oc4j.OC4JJMXUtil.getResourceAdapterName(OC4JJMXUtil.java:549) at oracle.sysman.ias.studio.oc4j.app.JMXAppHomeAdminBean.fetchModulesData(JMXAppHomeAdminBean.java:222) at oracle.sysman.ias.studio.oc4j.app.AppHomeHelper.prepareData(AppHomeHelper.java:253) at oracle.sysman.ias.studio.sdk.AbstractController.prepareData(AbstractController.java:868) at oracle.sysman.emSDK.svlt.PageHandler.handleRequest(PageHandler.java:390) at oracle.sysman.emSDK.svlt.EMServlet.myDoGet(EMServlet.java:747) at oracle.sysman.emSDK.svlt.EMServlet.doGet(EMServlet.java:283) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:743) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:856) at com.evermind.server.http.ServletRequestDispatcher.invoke(ServletRequestDispatcher.java:719) at com.evermind.server.http.ServletRequestDispatcher.forwardInternal(ServletRequestDispatcher.java:376) at com.evermind.server.http.HttpRequestHandler.doProcessRequest(HttpRequestHandler.java:870) at com.evermind.server.http.HttpRequestHandler.processRequest(HttpRequestHandler.java:451) at com.evermind.server.http.AJPRequestHandler.run(AJPRequestHandler.java:299) at com.evermind.server.http.AJPRequestHandler.run(AJPRequestHandler.java:187) at oracle.oc4j.network.ServerSocketReadHandler$SafeRunnable.run(ServerSocketReadHandler.java:260) at com.evermind.util.ReleasableResourcePooledExecutor$MyWorker.run(ReleasableResourcePooledExecutor.java:303) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)
To my knowledge this is a vanilla installation of OC4J so I'm not sure how a ResourceAdapter is missing. Furthermore this this apparently used to work fine and typically no-one seems to know what has changed to cause it to break. Has anyone got any experience in this? Today is my first day using OAS so I am completely clueless in terms of debugging and what logs might be useful, would be most grateful for any advice offered.
    Cheers,
    Edd

Thanks for that, a reinstallation fixed it. I'm not sure why the first installation went to pot but have no time to find out so am pleased that this was fixed by a re-install.
