Cannot access webservice homepage...

I am having problems accessing the webservice homepage. It simply cannot be accessed. I get this in SMICM

Just noticed 2 things:
1 - It resolves if I enter the IP instead of the server name and using port 50000

This sounds to me like really bad advice.
OpenDNS is one of, if not the most secure internet web server you'll will find anywhere.
Even with their default setup I've had nothing but the best most secure web experience ever, for the past 5 or 6 years, not to mention also the fastest web experience.

I cannot access my Safari homepage which is
I get a message which says:
Too many redirects occurred trying to open 'www.theaustralian.com.au'. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page"
I get the same message when I try and open this website thru Google so in effect I cannot open this website at all
Any advice ?

Is this a sudden behavior? If so, when did it start? Last worked on date? Failed on date?
I must tell you that this website is a monster... in my Safari v4.1.3 in Developer Mode tracking it took 5.8 minutes to finish FAILING to load ±245 items, until it finally cancelled - ±25 Alerts - at which time, the site's reload script started the doomed process all over again.
Google Chrome = do not use so I will assume that it has similar difficulties
I did have success loading the page (seemingly fully) with Firefox (TenFourFox 31.1.1) BUT it took ±3 minutes to complete loading! During the 3 minutes, the page display 're-painted' twice (blank > redraw - not the same as a reload). The reload script reloaded the page at ±5 minutes.
Watching the progress of loading, there are VERY many assets on that page that require other sites to deliver the content, some quick some sluggish.
With a browser that can handle &/or ignore all the funky code being presented, one could not "Read the paper" for more than a couple of minutes - tops - before the reload "Snatched the paper out of your hand".
** As a comparison, I went to http://www.nytimes.com/ - readable in ±5 seconds, scrollable in ±10 and finished loading in ±20.
Conclusion: Safari & Chrome are likely not the problem - any version will likely fail. A tougher browser is only usable for 2 minutes.
Have you considered contacting theaustralian.com.au and asked them what they deem to be "minimum system requirements" ?
The website is the culprit here. Time to hit the newsstand or change papers.

Curve 8520 will load to homepage but cannot access menu/apps/dialing anything :(

Hey folks,
My Curve 8520 decided to die today
When i try and use it, I view the home page but I cannot access the menu when pressing the BB button, none of the apps work on the task bar, I cant dial numbers and none of the side buttons work. All i can do is move the tracker pad around. When the screen fades out to black, i cant get anything back it stays like that. The red led was flashing as well, but ive had a few messages come through as well now - but it was flashing before.
Ive tried a hard reboot (taking the battery out) a few times, ive even left the battery out for like 5 mins.
Ive tried connecting to bb desktop manager - but when the device is connected and the prompt for mass storage mode comes up it wont let me select yes or no - so desktop manager is never able to recognise it.
please help - the insurance people are rubbish n it could take like 5-6 weeks to get it sorted

I cannot access CF10 developper built in server remotely

Just successfully installed CF10 developper ediiton with built in server
I can access the web pages from the dev server on
http://localhost:8500
or
http://192.168.1.49:8500
But I cannot access the pages from a remote computer on the same network
Any suggestion would be welcome

Such kind of locking CF server access by local dev. machine was normally done by resetting the value of
<attribute name="interface">*</attribute> attribute
to
<attribute name="interface">127.0.0.1</attribute>
of <service class="jrun.servlet.http.WebService" name="WebService"> service of jrun.xml file but it was done till CF 9 server through this jrun.xml file attribute change.

Error 1009 when accessing webservice elements

I'm learning flex and Flash Builder 4.6 and doing a small example project.
I've created a mobile app test using a web service. I got the web service to work, creating xml dataset. I can get the flex code to access the web service and read the file. That works so far. The code reads the whole xml file from the web service and presents it. What I don't quite see is how to read only the elements. When I specify the .LastResult.element.element I get Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. during runtime.
I can post the webservice xml result if that helps. Thanks for any insights.

1009 error when I insert this property in the <s:Button   tag:

I'd have to see the xml to say what, but 1009 is what it says - a null reference has no properties, it is null.
Try tracing out SampleWebServiceCS.GetMember and you'll quickly see where along your .element.element path you have an error.
(BTW, I've not used s:Operation before, but is your syntax correct?)

Error cannot access property or method

i downloaded the sample code and as per the instruction i download flex builder, flash debugger. then i downloaded the sqlite3. in that i created registrations.db file and as per changed the db variable in .cgi file, also added the developer key and webservice url. but i am getting the following error.... i debugged the code and found the below information:- (i am new to flex and usually a dotnet developer)

it appears that you are using the RTMFP URI in place of the "web service URL". the web service URL would be something along the lines of http://something.../reg.cgi -- wherever you have installed the registration service.

Cannot update old Homepage

Went to post some recent photos of a commission painting in progress to a homepage and found that I cannot click on homepage anymore.
I read the forum and tried the going to the site to edit the page But when you edit and exisiting page there is nowhere to ADD any photos to the pre-existing page. (My clients like to see the beginning of a painting and the regular updated postings of its progress.)You can remove individual photos but even after adding the new updates to the folder in iDisk it does me no good as I cannot get them to replace the existing ones on the old homepage.
The only other option seems to be creating a whole new page which is proving impossible as my iDisk Library on .mac's end is showing up as endless numbers of code and not photos....
Any solution out there other than give up and publish a plain photo page in iWeb?

Thanks again for advice on homepage, I did find I was exporting the photos Way too big as I just got new Canon and it makes Big pictures, so I corrected the size issue and resynced my iDisk.
I did as you said but again .mac is running slower than molassas so accessing my homepage photos from the idisk is proving nearly impossible as whenever I try to access my pictures I get this CODE:

Cannot Get iTunes Homepage to load

I am running Windows 7 and the latest version of iTunes. When it tries to load, I only get a blank screen with iTunes Store in the middle. No homepage. I have tried the "fixes" on the website, which is what the support folks referenced me to. I still cannot get iTunes homepage to appear. If anyone has any ideas I am open. I have used iTunes on this computer before.

I think I have the same problem. I can access the itunes store, youtube etc from the apple tv, I can play items on my playlist on the apple tv by switching to apple tv speakers on the bottom of my itunes page. But when it comes to loading my library the wheel just keeps on turning. There does seem to be a connection to my itunes as changes to my library name in itunes is reflected on the apple tv under "Computers"
I am not sure that this has anything to do with it, but I do not have a "SHARED" library in itunes even though my Home Sharing is switched on, which is verified by the fact that I can see my library name and play music on the apple tv.

Cannot access voicemail via "My Verizon"

I just upgraded to FIOS digital voice. I can access call history etc. from my verizon homepage, but I cannot access my voicemails. It tells me I need to initailze my voicemail before I can view on the web. I've already initialized my voicemail and still have this message. Has anyone seen this issue and is there a solution?

If your Firefox just updated, there is an extra tab about the update. You should be able to close that tab and then your regular home page should be behind it. Alternately, try clicking the Home icon on the toolbar to load your homepage in the current tab. Any luck?

Cannot Access Data

I have read posts on this forum and on Adobe and still have not rectified my situation.
When I try to utilize a Web Service Connection on a dashboard, I get an error condition "Cannot Access External Data".
The Adobe site gives some suggestion regarding policy files and updates to Adobe Control Manger. I have tried all the suggestions with no resolution.
I am sure others have had this issue with the release of Flash Player 10 and its impact on Excelsius.
I would appreciate some guidance on how to set up my system so my Dashboards can connect to web services I have created.

Take a look to the url structure( ip or server name)
webservices: http://ip:8080/dswsbobje/qaawsservices/biws?WSDL=1&cuid=id
verify the url to access to infoview portal:
http://ip:8080/InfoViewApp
must be the same structure.
