Cannot acess forums using Mozilla browser
I am using Mozilla Firefox version 0.8 and cannot login into the forums. I can only view the forums as a guest. IE works fine.
This used to work fine with Firefox until today. So what have you changed?
Keith
No, because I am not using Mozilla 1.6, I am using Mozilla Firefox 08. As I stated this used to work fine, but something has changed. I have had similar problems with Oracle Collabsuite/Calendar not working which have now be tracked to an issue with Collabsuite. So I expect you have probably introduced the same problem into your environment as all this used to work fine with Firefox until about 2 weeks ago.

Logging in SAP forum using Safari browser
O.k guys, new to the forum. My first question will not be on financial but definitely expect a lot in the coming days. I am having trouble logging into SAP Forum using Safari browser. Every time i give user Id and password it will pop up a new window and asks me to select a certificate but i don't see any certificate in it. I am able to login to the forum using firefox, can some guide me how to go about this?
I just posted exactly the same problem but have't solved it yet. It is of course pretty weird that a free program like Firefox does the job wheres a paid product like Apple with Safari has problems. I keep searching for Safari did it very fine in the past for me. I suspect it is somewhere in the preferences.

I get unwanted voice and Toyota announcements whenever using Mozilla browser
I switched to Mozilla as my browser a few weeks ago. All was going well but today, December 21 2010, whenever I used the Mozilla browser I heard a voice with news and announcements. It said "Presenting who knew" by Toyota. It is unwanted, annoying and makes my listening to radio and music impossible. I CANNOT USE THE MOZILLA BROWSER AS SUCH. I seem to be unable to shut the sound off. When using Explorer as browser I do not hear the Toyota piece at the very same sites.

Session problem using mozilla browser
I am involving an application development.
I opened 2 moilla fire fox browsers at the same time and enter 2 different username and password.
After login, both browsers showing the one user information only,
It is working fine in IE.
PLs help me to resolveThere is nothing to resolve, different firefox instances share the same session. It's not a bug, it's a feature. If you want two different sessions, use two different browsers like you are already doing with firefox + IE.

Hi all,
I am using <t:inputFileUpload /> for file uploading purpose,
UploadedFile inputFile.getName() method gives entire file path when i use IE,but
the same inputFile.getName() gives just a file name not the complete path when i use
mozilla browser.....
i got to save the entire file path during upload.
Any idea to solve this cross browser problem???
regards,
sundarThat is indeed a flaw in Internet Explorer. Firefox behaves as it should be.
Why do you need the file path? Do you think that you can get the file from the server disk if you construct a File object with a path which is obtained from a client side disk? This is not going to work. Just get the file contents by UploadedFile#getInputStream().

Hi everyone
Not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question, however any redirect is appreciated. Where can I get the download for the latest old mozilla browser. The one with the dinosaur icon before the browser turned firefox. Thanks, JenPhoenix and Firebird were what Firefox was called before Firefox was settled on in 2004, and both used "birds" as the logo. IIRC, the dinosaur was used in the Mozilla Suite.
Here are the earliest versions of the Mozilla Suite.
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/
I hope this request for a historical purposes of where Mozilla came from, because those old versions aren't safe to use on the internet any longer. -

Cannot type new outgoing message in utility warehouse webmail when using mozilla firefox
I've always used Mozilla Firefox and Utility Warehouse club webmail e-mail client.
Always worked well, no problems.
Now I can no longer type up new e-mails. I can call up the contacts name and type in the subject OK but then I can't type the message itself. The message typing section no longer functions, it seems to have gone dead.
I'm told this is a browser problem not a UW club webmail issue.
In fact I've checked and that's true, it all works OK in explorer but I don't want to use explorer.
Can you help or do I have to uninstall firefox and start using explorer?
I'd rather stick with firefoxWhen you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first) using either of these. While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help? -
No character is visible on screen while using mozilla firefox browser
upto last sunday I was able to browse net using Mozilla firefox. But from yesterday no characters are visible.
You can try to disable OMTC and leave hardware acceleration in Firefox enabled.
*about:config page: layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled = false
*http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config
You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

I do enjoy using Mozilla's Firefox as my default browser, BUT, I don't enjoy the details of my life, to include my Internet activity, to be archived by Google, or anyone else, via Mozilla's/Firefox's sharing of my Internet browsing and/or search engine activity with any aspect or facet of the Google organization. With all of this said, my question is, "How do I prevent browsing and search data from being forwarded to Google by Mozilla, while still using Mozilla's Firefox as my default browser?"
Firefox's default behavior includes no automatic interaction with Google.
We do use Google as default search engine and to report web forgery in the 'help' menu, but no data are sent to Google without your knowledge, and you can change your preferred search engine at will.
However many websites themselves make use of Google Ads which do cause interaction with Google when you load the webpages. This is visible in status bar and happens in any browser. The [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/noscript NoScript] add-on for Firefox can largely save you from this problem.
If you see things happening otherwise, please reply with details on what you see.
