Cannot activate Adobe Flash CS3 Pro. "No Connection"

I know I typed in the serial number right because it gave me the green check mark. It keeps asking me to retry because of a connection error. I tried everything on the adobe help sight.
There's no way to contact adobe over the phone, or email? I'm very disappointed in a lack of customer support. I hope someone can help me with this problem.

Also, their help web-sight was only for cs5.5 and later, they had absolutely nothing, that I could find at least, for older programs.
EDIT: I did a little more searching, and finally found the solution on another thread. Go here if you are having the same problem as me CS3 activation - "no connection", no support It worked =)

Having difficulties installing Flash CS3 Pro

When I launch setup.exe on Windows Vista Home Premium as
administrator, a Gui box pops up which says "Adobe Setup" with an
empty progress bar, and about 5 seconds later is disappears and
nothing happens. What is going on here? Can I have the FTP links to
the Adobe Flash CS3 Pro Trial. I need a differen't type of setup
cause this one does not solve anything. Any help?

Hey man I found it.
Go to :\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers and
delete it all what's in
then go to regedit as in this article :
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314481,
and search for adobe cs3 and delete it, then run install again.
After that it should work, it worked for me fine (don't stop
install it will take a while and may look like freezing while it's
not).
After install will complete It's possible that trial version
won't work and you'll be asked to have a serial ...

Exporting in Adobe Flash CS3

Hey, I use Adobe Flash CS3 Pro to make animations alot. I've been having trouble latley. I'm trying to export my animation as an AVI file but whenever I do it says "Error creating AVI file" And is does that with every animation that I make. Help?

When you create a flash project, the first thing you should do is set the stage height and width to the desired sizes in the properties panel. That will control the final size published by flash as the end resulting .swf file width and height.
Your published flash file size (swf) is directly related to the size (kb, mb) of the content within the file. A basic simple text only flash is usually around 3-5 kb, just about everything else is whats imported into it. So if your final file kb size is too large, than you should look to optimizing your images individually before importing into flash.

Lastly, once you have completed a .fla file, you would typically use the "Publish" option to create the .swf file, not "export"

Problem on flash, cannot play movie error(Adobe Flash CS3 stop working)... help guys...

Just a minute ago my .fla file can be played. But after several minute when I added movie clips and animations. It just crashed down I guess, Adobe Flash CS3 stop working. I'm using Microsoft Vista operating system. I have an antivirus subscription which is McAfee with automatic update. I think it's a virus or what? I dunno what to do. I got a long way already with my animation on my file. When I will start from the very beginning it would be a mess and it will consumed a lot of time.
Four to five attempts of testing the movie:
error msg: Adobe Flash CS3 stop working.
After several minute, test the movie again:
error msg: Flash CS3 memory overload, I dont know the exact error message.
I inspect the microsoft dialog and views the problem, it says APPCRASH, Flash.exe and has several .dll and other components did not load.

first, open flash without opening a fla. if it opens ok, create a new fla and save it. close flash and reopen the new empty fla and test it.
if that all works ok, open your project fla. save it with a different name. close flash, reopen the renamed project fla and attempt to test it. any problem?

Adobe flash cs5 pro crashes when launched. The name of the problem is named 'Appcrash.' The application name is 'flash exe'. Application version 11.0.0.485. Name of the module with this faults is Adobepsl.dll. and the So version?: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.2
When I start Flash cs5 there appears a small box which tells me that it is importing files, where I didn't ask for. This happened after I imported a video animation from Photoshop Cs3. But now I just want to start a new project which it doesn't allow. I get only the flash sign and the fonts and than during the building workspace, i get the errorreport. Anyone knows what to do? Because it is not only frustrating, now I can not work on my website projects which I have to finish soon, aaaahhhhhaaaaaahhhhhhhh.

Flash CS3 Pro

I just started using flash to import some movies to make my
movies smaller by exporting to a flash movie. I'm no pro with
video. I"m just doing this as a hobbie when I'm away from work.
I just installed Flash CS3 Pro mac and here is the problem
I'm encountering. After importing my video from another file format
I make whatever necessary edits while in flash I then export to a
.swf but only my local machine can play the swf file. I see two
options under exporting options for flash 1) is local files only
and 2) network access only. Can someone please shed some light on
the issue?
I copied the files over to my pc and the PC will not play the
flash movie. I uploaded them to my servers on the web and they
cannot play the movies either. I'm lost at this point.
Any ideas?

How did you import the video? Did you embed in in the
timeline or create an FLV which loads as an external file? If you
did the latter, you'll need to include the FLV file in addition to
the SWF.

I have macromedia Flash8 and am trying to open and edit Adobe Flash CS3 template and getting an unexpected file format error message. Are these softwares compatible or is there anything that I can do to enable me open and edit Adobe Flash CS3 template with Macromedia Flash8. Thanks

Flash CS3 was developed after Flash 8, so like most software, older versions cannot open newer version files. You would need to have the CS3 file saved as a Flash 8 file, which CS3 can do since it is one version ahead of Flash 8 and each version is capable of saving to the previous version. You may lose some features if they were not supported by Flash 8.

Problem Installing Flash CS3 Pro PLEASE HELP!!

I have downloaded the installer for about the 3rd time i
extract it all right but when i run the setup.exe its all fine
until it starts to install but then it says something like " insert
Adobe Flash CS3 Professional to continue" i keep trying but it
never works i even converted the folder to a .iso and mounted it
with the same name it told me but that still doesn't work. I have
run out of ideas please if anyone knows the problem please can you
help me out?

FYI: "Br" is the Bridge application - try launching that to
see if it fully installed.

Just a little claritification, you need to add the value to the variable "[string]$ou", and also change the language in the variable "$emailbody" in the function "Get-ADUserPasswordExpirationDate".

Clearing the cache didn't work, but removing the Youtube cookie and restarting firefox did. I can now switch to Hi-def again
