I cannot activate both elements 12 Photoshop and premiere because the programm remains to say Connect to the internet, which I am.

Temporarily disable your anti-virus and firewall to see if that lets the activation complete. You might also try temporarily renaming C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts to something else. If validation then works, you can rename hosts back, and turn back on your firewall and anti-virus.

Has anyone found a solution to error 2146893032? I am obviously connected to the internet but I cannot activate home sharing from my computer. Not my firewall..

I am trying to set up our Apple TV but we cannot activate Home Sharing. We keep getting error 2146893032. Please don't post the tutorial or troubleshooting guide. Been there already. We have also checked our virus software. Like another person who posed this question, obviously we are connected to the internet or we would not be able to post. This may reall be an iTunes issue but either way, I hope someone can help. Thanks

What are you doing to activate home sharing? Is it enabled on iTunes?

Cannot play musice on a second computer.

I have my iPhone synced to my home computer because that is where all my music is located.
When I try to just play the music on my work computer it has all the content under iPnone/Music grayed out and I am unable to play any of it.
I want to make it clear that I DO NOT want to sync my music to this second computer I just want to PLAY it.
I am able to do this on my iPod so why is it not allowed on my iPhone?
I have set the Sync options on both iTunes to Manually manage music and videos but it still does not work.

This is possible - you can transfer iTunes content that was purchased from the iTunes Store from an iPod or iPhone, and you can transfer your entire iTunes library from one computer to another computer. You can have up to 5 computers authorized with the same iTunes account which includes iTunes content purchased with the same iTunes account.
This has nothing to do with the OP's question.
The iPhone does not support what is called disk mode which is required to do what the OP wants, which does not involve transferring iTunes content from his/her home computer to his/her work computer. He/she want to play iTunes content from the iPhone when connected to the work computer, which is not supported with the iPhone as is supported with an iPod since the iPhone doesn't support disk mode as is supported with an iPod.

My new computer is a Mac but I run windows 7 on it.
I Downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro but my serial number will not activate. I Logged in to Adobe and verified my number. What now?

Just download/install it again from http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-10-11-downloads.html and activate it with your serial number.

Cannot get my songs on second computer

Help. I downloaded itunes on my work computer, and thought it would open up and show all my downloads in the library. cannot get it to do so. any ideas? i only have one working computer at home with my library on it.

You iTunes library is only on the computer you put it on.
You need to copy \My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ folder from your home computer to your work computer.

My desktop was stolen and my laptop hard drive failed, now I cannot activate cs5 on a new computer, what are my options?

I has installed cs5 on both of these computers. I was able to activate cs5 on my new desktop, I'm guessing because I backed up my account on an external hard drive, but since the laptop crashed and was fixed I'm unable to activate cs5 again (the message claims I've activated cs5 on too many computers).The hard drive in the laptop was replaced. How can I reinstall cs5 on my laptop?

Hi can someone help me with activation of ps elements 10. called call center waited for an hour and nothing accomplished. I read that they have to reset the backend servers as adobe allows only two activation. really frustrated. thanks.

Cannot activate Windows Defender imbedded in computer at purchase

I have just purchased a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. It comes with Windows Defender but is IN-ACTIVATED at time of purchase. I have tried to activate it and also gone on line for guidance and the steps advised do not work.
I am wondering if the McAffee Anti-virus software is blocking it????
Can anyone explain to me how to activate the Windows Defender in my laptop?

It is turned off because of mcaffee, if you turn off mcaffee you will be able to turn on windows defender.

Cannot import from iPod to second computer.

I bought a new iPod and initially used iTunes on my sister's computer. Now I have imported new CD's to my iTunes library on MY computer and when I try to sync MY iTunes prompts me to erase due to using a different library to start with (my sister's). What can I do? I don't want to lose what I have on my iPod but I do want to add to it using MY computer! This is crazy!

This is by design. There are 3rd party applications that you can use to transfer the files to your ipod without syncing it, but it is set up this way so you can't download files from your own computer and then take it to a friend's computer and download their music as well (which is what your ipod thinks you're doing -- your sisters computer being it's "home" computer at the moment). If you are going to be doing all your future syncing on your own computer, I would suggest getting an external hard drive and copying over any music you have in your sister's computer (any purchases she has that is linked to her itunes account will not load into your account when you transfer them). Copy it to your computer and then sync your ipod. Your ipod will then see your computer as "home".

Cannot Activate Elements 8

I had a hard drive crash but the tech was able to transfer all data and software to a new external drive. When I installed Elements 8 on my new HD I get the error message about the software installed on too many systems. When I launch Element with the external drive the DEACTIVATE option is grayed out. Any help is appreciated.

You need to call support and they'l lreset activations. Nothing anyone here can do.
