Cannot activate Photoshop elements because it keeps saying no internet connection.

I am trying to activate my PSE but every time i try to validate the serial number i get the "no internet connection error" and I am not being given the option to activate offline anymore. I also lost the card that my disk came with so uninstalling is more then likely not an option for me. Please help I need to use this program today.

Hi narong, I was no able to find any record with the order number provided.Please let me know from where did you purchase the software, what software you purchased, and if it's an upgrade order did you own any previous qualifying version?If Yes, Make sure you have the old serial number handy in order to activate the upgrade software.Also let me know the exact error message you get.

Cannot activate Photoshop Elements 9 on replacement laptop

Hi, hope someone can help. I have a registered copy of Elements 9 which was installed on two laptops, mine and my wife's. My laptop crashed and I bought another to replace it. When I installed Elements on my new laptop I got a trial version because the copy I have is only good on two computers. I get a message saying that I need to de-activate the copy on one of the computers. However, since my laptop is TOAST I cannot do that. Is there any help for that?

I can't open my mailbox. I click on the icon but nothing happens. I also cannot reboot the computer because it keeps saying I need to close the mail account, which is not open. HELP!

Use Force Quit under the Apple, or by clicking the Mail icon. You might also try force quitting the finder.

How do get imessages to work? I can't get it to activate on my ipad3. It says no internet connection or retry, but I do have it turned on; using Wi-Fi.

I go and sign into my account as if I was signing into my itunes. I believe my account for ipad is the same as for the itunes; correct or not? In need of some help!

Hi Ba25, when you post a question, it helps those trying to answer if you lay out step by step exactly what you tried to do, what happened etc. You are then more likely to get helpful responses, so people don't have to try and join the dots ;-)
When you say you "go and sign into your account"... do you mean in settings on your iPad?
On your iPad, you need to go to Settings app, select Messages. Check that iMessage is turned on.
The 'Receive At' address should be your Apple ID email address. If not, change it to be that.
Then go to the Message app. Try sending a new message to someone who also has iMessage up and running.

ITunes store keeps saying no internet connection but i am connected

downloaded newest patch 12.1 and now I cannot connect to the iTunes store. The previous version of iTunes gave me absolutely NO problems at all with this, only after I download newest patch now I have problems. I tried reinstalling iTunes about 5 times and still not working. Then I checked my firewall and even turned my Windows firewall off, still an issue. My computer has more than enough space requirements so I know that is not the problem. I see that obviously people other than me are also having this problem also, so if anybody has had success in rectifying this problem. Getting very frustrated and want the old iTunes back now. Thank You

I have tried deleting all previous Photoshop file and also trashing the Adobe file in Library/Application Support, both as suggest elsewhere but with no joy. Can anyone help?

Nothing here works. During the course of this I have had to reinstall the OS and this did not help either! I am thinking about asking for my money back and finding another way of editing my RAW files!.

You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

As far as version 9 goes, if you never purchased it you shouldn't expect to be able to use it. If you check your Adobe account online you might be able to find whatever version you purchased identified there.

Hi Everyone,
So, I have this problem with my Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. Everytime I try to open the program itself I get the following message...
"Could not initialize Photoshop Elements beacuse the file is locked. Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file."
I have read many threads on this problem, and have tried it all... I might have missed something but I don't think I did..
I didn't try to do anything with the program, just one day it wouldn't work...

Photoshop Elements does not start
Some of you have reported a problem when starting Photoshop Elements:
"Could not initialize Photoshop Elements because the file is locked.
Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file."
SOLUTION:
Sometimes Photoshop Elements may start acting strange and may start to cause problems that weren't there before, or Photoshop Elements might become corrupt. One simple fix to a variety of problems is to delete the settings file and have Photoshop create a brand new one during next startup.
To do this hold down the following keys while the program starts:
Ctrl+Shift+Alt
You should be prompted with a dialog box that says:
"Delete the Adobe settings file?"
Click ok and the program will continue to start.
If you don't get the dialog box asking if you wish to delete the settings file, then you didn't hold down the key command early enough. Close Photoshop and try again.

I cannot download Photoshop Elements 13

I cannot download Photoshop Elements 13. My HP laptop computer spent about 20 minutes downloading files from a first link. When I click on the second .exe link, I get a dialogue box saying all the files are not downloaded. This has happened to me before and I don't understand what to do.

you need both the exe and the 7z files. put both in the same directory and double click the exe.

Cannot find Photoshop Elements 11.0,exe

I made a mistake by deleting Photoshop Elements 11. I did it not the proper way. Then I tried to instal Photoshop Element over and over again but after installing I cannot open the Welcome screen because a pop up screen appears: I cannot find Photoshop Elements 11.0.exe.
However I can start the program by using 'Photoshop Elements Editor' but when started the program I cannot use 'Organizer'!

Today I solved the problem.
1. Every time I removed Photoshop Elements 11.0. I used Revo Uninstaller. After cleaning with Ccleaner and restart the pc I installed Photoshop Elements again. And the samen procedure again (4 times).
2. This time I used Windows 7 software to remove Photoshop Elements 11.0. And Premiere Elements 11.0 as well. (I use Premiere Elements 12.0).
3. Cleaning with Ccleaner, restart pc and reinstal Photoshop Elements 11.0.
4. All necessary files are installed now and PE11.0 works!

Hi,
I cannot get Photoshop Elements 10 Trial to Install - Windows 7 64-bit. I downloaded the trail of Photoshop CS6 just fine. I am trying to download the trial of Photoshop Elements 10. I get the adobe installer window and I login in and select my PSE 10 Trial and the installation begins and I have it saved to my desktop. When the installation finishes nothing happens. There is a Photoshop Elements folder on my desktop but it is empty. I have tried a couple of time with the same result.
Any suggestions?

Hi Ken,
I apologize for not making myself clear. What I meant by "saving to desktop" was when I I went to download the the trial of PSE 10 the install window will ask me where I want to save the file. It is defaulted (highlighted) to save to "my documents" but I selected to save the file to my desktop. I tried to install the trial of Photoshop Elements 10 again and this time it did install and is working.
