Cannot add contacts to any section below Workgroup on Relationships tab

In Lync, when I click over to the "Relationships" tab and can see "Friends and Family," etc., sections, I am able to add contacts from my "Groups" tab no problem to either "Friends and Family" or "Workgroup." 
However I cannot add contacts to any of the other sections.  For example, I add a person to "Workgroup" and he shows up; then I drag him onto the "Colleagues" section and he disappears.  The comment "No one's in this access
level" never goes away. 
What is the trick to adding people to the other sections in the "Relationships" tab?

Did the issue happen only for you or for multiple users?
Did the contact exist on Group Tab after dragging the contact from “Workgroup” to “Colleagues”?
You can login Lync client on other computer with your Lync account to have a test. If it works normally, you can delete user profile on your issued local workstation, restart Lync client and test again.
You can also login Lync client on your computer with other well-worked Lync account to have a test.
Please update to the latest version for Lync client as well.

    In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
    If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

    Having the same issue, called B&N, have spent many hours and still no resolution.  As a work-around, I downloaded bluefire reader on my nook.  Then I used dropbox to take the book that I borrowed from the library and open in bluefire reader on my nook and that worked (still cannot see it in my nook library, but at least I can read the book).

    im having a hard time adding contacts using the pin. i tried to used it once, and it worked. but now i want to add contact by pin # again, i cant. des anybody know why ?

    There could be several reason... one of the most common is that the other user is on a corporate BES account and receipt or use of the BlackBerry Messenger is disabled.
    Otherwise, I would make sure the other users' PIN is correct. Make sure THEY also delete any pending requests, first.
    Then use the PIN request to the add the contact, it is the most reliable.
    Also--make certain the other user has a BlackBerry Data Plan on their BlackBerry... not a generic data plan.

  • Cannot add contact

    Hi, I am living in Spain, my carrier is Orange and I have a 8100 Pearl. I have been able to add contacts to the BB Messenger living in the USA, Spain, France and Venezuela, but when trying to add a friend in Quito, Ecuador, the invitation is always "pending" even though he accepts it. Any idea on how to solve this?. Thanks everyone!

    Go to your dial pad .. Dial in number .. Go back to dial pad .. There your recent calls shows up.. There would be a small telephone icon next to the number you wanna save with a + sign .. Touch the icon and now you should be able to create a new contact !! Hope that helps ...

  • Cannot add field to value section of PowerPivot table- using TechNet tutorial

    I am doing the MS TechNet tutorial for PowerPivot and using the sample files.  Everything has worked until I got to the Create a PivotTable tutorial.  when I try to add the SalesAmount field to the values section of the grid, it gives me the error
    "Could not add the field "SalesAmount" to the PivotTable.  Please ensure the field exists and is calculated, and try refreshing the PivotTable."
    I refreshed the data several times, the field exists, but I don't know how to recalculate.  I can place other field and even the SalesAmount field into the Rows section with no problem.  I just cannot get it to go into the Values section without
    the error.  The data type is currency.  Can't figure out why it doesn't work.
    I didn't notice before, but every row of the table named FactSales in the PowerPivot window, which includes the SalesAmount field, has the exact same data.

    Sorry Linda for the long delay- hope you're still around.  I received no errors on import.  All of the preceding tutorials with as laid out.  I have deleted the PivotTable several times, recreated it, and received the same error as I described
    above.  I have not done what you suggest and I will.  I guess I was thinking it was a bug or problem with the sample data, but since you can do it without problem, it is obviously on my end.
    Thanks again.  I'll do it from the beginning tomorrrow and report what happens.

    In Apple Mail, OS 10.7.3, when I click on add sender to address book, nothing gets added. The address book doesn't change. When I try adding addresses via previous recipients, the button is active, but when I click, nothing is added to the address book. Any ideas for me?

    Hey guys, i have a client with Exchange 2007 (standalone), when a user is connected through Outlook Anywhere or Activesync and they try to save a contact they get a little popup saying exchange is unavailable, outlook needs to be connected. 
    Any ideas on these error?

    Hi,
    In client side which is using Outlook Anywhere, please disable using Exchange Cached mode and restart Outlook to use Online mode. Then check whether the error occurs or not when saving a contact. Also do the test in OWA from external internet environment.
    If the issue doesn't happen in Outlook Online and OWA, please create a new Outlook profile for this Outlook Anywhere user.

    Ever since I mistakenly got into OSX 10.9.4, I have not been able to make any additions of deletions of songs from either this iPod or my iPod Nano. I've tried just about aything and am very disgusted. I know very little about how these devices work but my son who has more understanding cannot seem to help me either.     Just to clarify - any link within the store (underlined text) clicks fine... the only part that i am having a problem with is any click-able button (buy now, buy album, etc... i actually cannot even get the preview buttons to show, let alone click on them)
    I really do not want to re-install as it is always a hassle with my 75gig music library. (plus the ever possible chance of loosing 10 years worth of ratings and playcounts freaks me out)

    4) OS (e.g. Mac, Windows 7 etc)
    5) what exact behavior or error message are you seeing (e.g. clicking on the Add but nothing happens, clicking Save but nothing happens, no page loads up, etc)

    Dont see "+" button in contacts app. Did anyone notice this?

    Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
    Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
    Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off".

    Hey Edward, I'm not sure if you're still having trouble with this, but I was struggling with it too, and what I believe fixed it for me was correcting some incorrect MobileMe login info. I guess the contacts were set up to be managed by MobileMe, and since the login wasn't going through, some permissions were disallowed. Anyway, my guess is that you have something misconfigured in an account that's managing your contacts. Good luck!
