Cannot add photos but able to add songs

Ok well im having a little problem, my 2 gig ipod states that i have 545mb left so when I went to add a folder with photos that adds up to 2mb I get this error " The Ipod <my name ipod> cannot be updated because there is not enough free space to hold all of the songs in the Itunes music library." And note that i have manually manage songs and playlists enabled. So any help would be appricated

I dunno bout him or you, but with 2MB I can have about 40 (640x480) jpg pictures. Anyway, that's not the problem. I can't even add 1 (20kb) jpg picture to my iPod with 50MB+ free storage. Until I finally erased all my songs, then I can add my pictures. You probably know how long it takes for me to put back my 300+ songs.
So, now I think there's a limit for picture storage inside nano. But I dunno how many free storage needed so I can add a picture.
Did it happened to you guys at all?

Just to clarify my problem with the "dark photos"....when in slideshow mode, photos are dark and state "no photo selected" I've created multiple slideshows and this was never an issue. Just downloaded updates as well for Lightroom 4 and this didn't seem to help either.

The iPod's firmware is corrupt. You'll need to restore it again in iTunes. If necessary, place the iPod in recovery mode for iTunes to recognize the device. Use the instructions in this Apple support document to walk you through the process of placing the iPod Touch into recovery mode.

If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

When you have iPhoto and Contacts open and try to drag a picture for iPhoto to the Contacts photo frame do you get a + symbol? if not you should! from there the the pop menu should appear and then you can select the picture and click on done

Your heading says you can't import, but the body of your query seems to suggest that you can import but that you get a blank thumbnail? Is that right? What happens when you click on that?

Adobe Flash Player - Installed latest version but I still cannot add photos to my FB album

I have a Mac with OSX 10.9.5 I have an album on my FB page that I regularly add photos to from my iPhoto. Recently my Adobe Flash Player requested I update to latest version. I did....several times. It says It is installed on system preferences...I've installed NPAPI Plug 17.0 as well as PPAPI Plug17.0
And still I get the "Flash Player upgrade required" when I attempt to upload photos. What can do to fix this?

Cannot add photos to my iPod video - error message

I get the same error message every time I try to add photos to my iPod - "The ipod "Susan's iPod" cannot be updated. The disk could not be read from or written to."
I can still sync and add/delete songs, but I have never successfully transferred a single photo to my iPod. Please help.

Are they being synced through a folder or through a program?

Not able to add photos to ipod nano

Dear All,
I just bought a new Ipod. I am able to music to it. But I am not able to add photos to it. I read all the posts in the forums, ipod tutorials and "Ipod nano features guide.pdf" and followed the same instructions. But still I am not able to add any photos.
I followed the below steps:
1. Put my photos to a new folder
2. Then go itunes,ipod options,then ipod,then photos,then put a check to 'sync. photos from',then select the new folder.then press OK
But nothing happens, I don't see any progress that it is uploading photos to my iPod.
Note that I have selected "Manually manage songs and playlists" option in the music tab.
Any help to fix my ipod problem would be greatly appreciated.

Excuse me if you have, but have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting the iPod? Or right-clicking it in itunes and choosing "Update"? Photos will only be updated if the entire iPod is going through an update.
