Cannot add update 8.1.4 after adding update 8.1.3

Please help me if you can. I had to reinstall acrobat 8 due to a windows reinstall. Am trying to add updates and have gotten as far as 8.1.3. When I try to install 8.1.4, the system seems to tell me that I am missing an interem update. I cannot find one. Can anyone tell me why I am having this problem and if there is a missing update.

Thanks for responding, Bill. I did check and it showed version 8.1.3 I couldn't get the updates from the help menu but downloaded all the updates from the adobe support webside. I tried twice to add 8.1.4 and each time got the same answer. I've since looked at the program and it seems to allow me to set passwords and add or delete pages, which is the main reason I am using it.... but I knwo some of the updates were critical so I would like to figure out how to get them. I've been unable to find if there is an update between the 8.1.3 and 8.1.4

Cannot add networked Brother MFC-7820N after upgrading to Leopard

Hi,
I did a clean install of Leopard on a new drive I installed on my Macbook. Then I migrated my account from an old drive which was running the latest version of Tiger.
Leopard is running fine, except that I cannot add my networked printer (Brother MFC-7820N). According to Brother, the printer drivers come with the Leopard CD. In the /Library/Printers/Brother directory there sub-directories for Brother LUT, Filter, Icons, Profiles, Utilities. So I think the drivers are present.
In the Print & Fax system preference, I click to add a printer and nothing shows up under "Default". According to Brother's instructions, the printer should show up. Is the MFC-7820N Bonjour capable?
Is there something else I need to do? I am not running control center like I did under Tiger.
Any help would be appreciated.
Network is a wireless network with the printer attached to a netgear wireless router.

Okay, I found the answer to the problem. It is a Brother configuration, not a Leopard one. Needed to setup Bonjour on the printer by configuring the mDNS properly.
From a browser, go to your printer using the ip address. Click on Network configuration link. Default user/password is: admin/access. Find the "mDNS" link, click on it. Then configure with a name such as BrotherMFC and select enable. Once this is setup, then clicking on "+" in the print and fax system preference works.

Cannot add contacts on my ipad after iOS 5 update

Dont see "+" button in contacts app. Did anyone notice this?

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off".

I cannot add updates to my Ipod TOUCH

I take it your updating to ios 6.1 in which case try downloading the softwere without the ipod plugged in. or download it from a site such as http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ as it wont use itunes to download it.

Crystal report running total explodes after adding a low-level characterist

I've profit center hierarchy, suppressed to show only level 5 of the hierarchy in crystal report and the report has Group1:Division, Group2:Company Code and Group3:Profit Center hierarchy and I have summary at each group level.
and now when I click on a profit center, I want to drill-down to show all customers for that profit center, sales document and few other characteristics.... that I want to add to the details.
After adding these characteristics to the details, the Summary at group division is not right for the AR Balance and I've other key figures and Iam sure they are also not correct. Any help with fixing this issue will be appreciated. Thanks.

What account were you using to sync your Calendar? Make sure that account is added to the device, and make sure that Calendars is turned on for that account.
Then, go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and make sure that under the Calendar section that 'Sync' is set to 'All Events'.
Then go to the Calendar app, go to Calendars, and make sure that you have that account enabled.
Then, close out all the running apps on your device, and restart it.
Open up your Calendar app. Are your entries back?

Cannot add files to itunes after 10.0.1 update

After downloading and installing itunes 10.0.1 update, I cannot add files to my library. Anybody else have this issue? I have tried dragging/dropping files and file->add new files to library. I'm using a PC with windows xp

Have you contacted your email provider to make sure there are no problems on their end? If they say their email servers are working properly, check the outgoing and incoming mail servers entries on your iPhone to make sure both are entered correctly. Enter the outgoing mail server even if the account setup indicates that is optional.

E52 - after update cannot add access points

Can anyone help plz? I updated firmware to 054.003 but now I cannot add access points for wap/mms/internet! The setup wizard only gives me the option to add an email address only...before update I could get operator settings which is not the case now. Can anyone help? My cell phone carrier is ORANGE IL.

I upgraded an unbranded E52 last night to 054.003 and didn't have any problem adding new access points that the operator (in this case vodafone UK) pushed out. Suggest maybe a hard reset on the phone?

'Null' being added to ArrayCollection during add/update by Dataservice

We have a data service destination setup like this:

We implement a custom assembler by extending the AbstractAssembler.
     The fill and refreshFill methods are implemented.
Updates are pushed to the client using a DataServiceTransaction:
     DataServiceTransaction transaction = DataServiceTransaction.getCurrentDataServiceTransaction();
     transaction.createItem(DESTINATION, trade);
     transaction.commit();
After we create items and push them from the server, the refresh method on the Assmbler gets called. We return 'APPEND_TO_FILL'.
The item shows up in the client side managed ArrayCollection. This ArrayCollection is bound to a datagrid.
Problem description:
The above works fine when we run the server and the client locally on the same machine. When the application is hosted on a another part of the network - we see that for some of the updates - a null gets added to the ArrayCollection, instead of the object pushed from the server. We found this by attaching a CollectionChange event listener to the managed ArrayCollection. This causes blank rows to show up in the Blotter. In some cases we have also seen duplicate rows.
We see that the object is delivered to the client but not applied to the ArrayCollection properly. I attached a screen shot of the client side stack where we loose the update.
Calling the refresh() method on the ArrayCollection after the update, fixes the situation. The nulls disappear and the ArrayCollection now has the right data !
Things tried so far:
Throttling the DataService update rate - down to 1 update/sec
Enabling reliable delivery on the Dataservice destination
Handling conflicts - none detected. Client never updated data.
Setting DataService.resetCollectionOnFill property to true
Any pointers would be very helpful

We traced this down to the fact that we have multiple threads reading off a JMS queue and pushing the add/update to the client via LCDS.
Each thread has its own instance of DataServiceTransaction - so this should be ok.

Update beans after adding columns to DB tables

I am trying to use JDeveloper 10G , Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.0.4.3673
I am having difficulty finding out how to update CMP Entity Beans
after adding columns to DB tables.
I have found descriptions of how to do these from four sources.
None of these methods work.
They all refer to menu options, buttons or fields that aren't in the JDevb IDE.
List of options that don't exist :
"Synchronize with Database"
"attributes"
"Add from table"
"New from Table"
"Fields Tab"

What version of EJBs are you using?
The only option I know of for EJBs will be to generate the bean from the table again, or manually add the field to the EJB.
The "Synchronize with Database" operation is there for ADF Business Components but not for EJBs.

The iTunes app cannot disappear ... it may be on a different screen.
Regardless, you can force it to your home screen by doing:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

The SMS links thing is highly annoying. You don't have to copy/paste however. You should see an icon like this: (>) to the right of the text bubble with the link. Tap on that, the in the screen that opens, tap "Visit".
Alternatively, you can tap twice directly on the link, then hold your finger down after the second tap.
Still unnecessarily difficult, but not as bad as copy/paste.
What I don't get is why can't I find any mention of this change or how to fix it (if even possible) elsewhere online?
