Cannot attach a picture in AOL or Craigslist but can in MS Word

When using AOL or Craigslist I cannot attach or insert any pictures to my mail or Craigslist postings. If I open MS Word I can insert pictures. It appears it an on line issue. I have done both many many times and now I can't. The pictures are under 25mb as AOL requires.

SMS is just that, text only. MMS, which the iPhone does not support, is a stripped down version of email and supports images.
However, you have email on the iPhone, and can email to most carrier's phones who use MMS.

MMS requires cellular data. Sending pictures through iMessage can be done either using cellular data or WiFi. You're phone is working as designed.

I have the exact same phone with the exact same situation. Verizon to ATT. I called att and recieved some help. I chnaged my data package to include a personal black berry service and now I have full EDGE. they also sent to my phone the service books for a bold which is the closet they have to the tour. still says that I need to contact my provider and get them to enable the browser. did you ever figure it out?

Very strange problem going at the minute!
I can Screen Share both ways (iMac - MBP and MBP - iMac) just fine but can't seem to File Share between either computer. They are both on the same network and both have the exact same settings under SysPrefs. I can see both devices in a Finder window and can click the 'Connect As...' button, but once I've put in my credentials, the message in the Finder window changes from 'Connecting...' to 'Connection Failed' in a matter of seconds.
Both have AFP switched on and neither has the Firewall enabled. I also cannot FTP between either computer via 'Connect to Server...', but I can utilise iTunes Home Sharing perfectly.
I've tried pretty much everything I can find on the WWW, but nothing's worked! Help!

I think I've solved the problem now (at long last!).
Somehow, my sharing permissions on my Home folder on either computer won't allow me access. I've tried repairing permissions multiple times, but to no avail.
I've solved the problem by sharing my Macintosh HD, rather than my individual Home folder and I can access everything as normal now.

I cannot attach files in Gmail within Firefox. I can attach files in Gmail from Chrome and IE.

I know it has been mentioned elsewhere too ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/999383 ), but I cannot reply to that message... so, here it is again, with full details of the testing we have performed so far....
ALL users or our organization are currently affected.
When you try to attached a doc, xls, pdf, etc. in Gmail the results are all the same in Firefox. You get a red bar with "attachment failed" and an option to cancel or retry.
We have tested with our Proxy On and Off. We have tested with no extensions loaded (I get the message with my 3 extensions on or off -- Adblock+, Ghostery, HTTPS Everywhere). Versions on which the issue has been seen include 25, 26, 28, 28.0.1 and 29.0.1 (the latest as of this post). Most users in our organization do not use extensions with Firefox.
Attachments link up just fine in IE 10 and 11, and Chrome (with Adblock, Ghostery, and HTTPS Everywhere turned on). This error is only seen in Firefox, with or without plug-ins.
Operating Systems used for testing were Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
The issue was first reported to us today, 5/13/14, but it is unknown if the issue has been around longer. However, Firefox is our organization's default browser due to countless web software vendor recommendations. We most likely would have heard before today if the issue has happened previously.
Any tips or suggestions would be welcome here.

Without trying any of the fixes, the issue seems to have gone away on its own. All users (of about 7 reporting in) can attach files within Gmail using Firefox as of 5/15. We did not try any of the 4 fixes listed above. On 5/13 and 5/14, users could not attach files to Gmail messages within Firefox.
However, on the day of the issue we did try all the mentioned fixes (except #4). All affected users had all history and cache wiped, updated to v29.0.1, and the latest Flash plug-in from Adobe.com. We have the browsers set to clear all history, temp files, cookies, etc. at exit to avoid any cached data issues. We tried with proxy on and off too. Attachments were in the 20K-35K range, so very small. They failed on 5/13 and 5/14 within Firefox, but attached fine in IE and Chrome on the same days.
So, not sure what the issue was, what caused, or why it went away... but we cannot reproduce today, as of 5/15.

Trying to Email pictures using my yahoo account, but can't!

Ok, not sure where I should post this question, but I seriously don't know what to do! I have a macbook pro, and I used to be able to go into my yahoo, click 'attach' and then it pops up my finder. right. Ok, so, then I go to my applications and click iPhoto (so I can send a picture, right?) and it does not let me click on iPhoto! I have Kodakgallery installed on here, and it lets me click on that, but I don't have all my pictures there, they are mainly in iPhoto! yikes! I've never had this problem before, what do I do to fix it??

Cannot open digitally signed PDF's with Acrobat but can with Reader.

My users have PDF files that have been digitally signed by other users.
When opening these files with Adobe Acrobat Pro, it crashes the application.- a generic referenced memory error on some systems, a DDE server error on others, or a font capture error on others - not sure why the discrepancy there.
The files can be opened with Adobe Reader with no error.
We are at Acrobat 9.4.5 and Reader 9.4.5
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Pro 9 and verified the same result with Pro 9.0 so it isn't the version or an update.
I have verified this on multiple machines. - I have even installed both pro and reader on one machine and verified that I could open the PDF file with Reader but not Acrobat Pro.
We can open other PDF files with no problem.
I have tried disabling as much of the security options as possible but still get the same result.
If I clear the PDF file fields (including the signatures) in Adobe Reader then it can be opened in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Does Acrobat Pro authenticate the digital signatures differently than Adobe Reader?

Regarding your question "Does Acrobat Pro authenticate the digital signatures differently than Adobe Reader" the short answer is no.
However, there are other things that Acrobat can do with a file that Reader cannot, so there could be an operation that Acrobat is trying to execute (other than signature validation) which is causing the crash. You don't see it in Reader because Reader doesn't know how to do whatever the offending operation is.
That said, can you send me the file that is crashing Acrobat to [email protected] and I'll see if I can figure out what is amiss.

Outlook 2010 on XP using MAPI cannot receive from some colleagues in the office but can receive from out of office

Have a strange problem with one of the users in my company using Outlook 2010 using MAPI on XP pro platform.
We have about 50 users in the office and some can send to this user but others cannot with a Microsoft error message stating that the email in undeliverable.
Run the Outlook Analyser and everything is in order.
Run the email setup send and receive and the test is successful.
Any idea what is causing this problem. We are on a Windows Server 2010 domain.

Actually, this user is not on Outlook Exchange but the previous IT person went to create an Exchange User name for her in the Exchange Server.
I have deleted her user on the Exchange Server.
She is on another email system using MAPI which uses the PostFix system.
However, most of the other users, myself included is on the Outlook Exchange and I also cannot send to her. I will have a Microsoft undeliverable error message.
When I run the Microsoft Outlook Analyser test everything passed.
Quite a tricky problem. Example of her email alias is [email protected] whereas her actual email is [email protected]
I have checked the PostFix email relay system and it points [email protected] to [email protected]

Is there a way to merge the bookmarks on my old pc to those on my new pc? (PS: I cannot login to old pc using old profile but can access the profiles folder.)

My user profile on my old laptop became corrupted and I cannot log into it using my regular (admin) account. I would like to add and merge the old firefox bookmarks to another laptop, which already has existing bookmarks. I cannot simply copy and paste the profile folder as this would overwrite my existing bookmarks and settings. Unfortunately I did not set up the Sync feature on that browser.

I assumed you knew, but I should specify, that you are looking for the most recent backup in your old profile's '''bookmarkbackups''' folder. The format changed recently, so the extension might be either .json or .jsonlz4 which is a compressed format so it may be much smaller than earlier backups. Firefox includes a count of the number of bookmarks in the file name (after the date).

Cannot update my email provider password on iMac but can on iPhone

I have had to update my email password with email provider. When I tried to update it on the iMac in the Internet Accounts section, I got a message saying "Password could not be sent to 'mail.tesco.net' securely. Mail cannot send your password securely tot he server. You can continue without a secured password, which could put your password at risk'. However, when I updated it on my iPhone it was accepted straightaway and I have no problem receiving my emails.

Is your mail set up to use SSL in connecting with the e-mail server? If you look in whatever mail program you are using, you can check this in your account. If you are not using SSL, the password gets passed in the open anyway.

Cannot stream iCloud video content on iPhone 4S but can do it on iPhone 4?

I have 2 iPhones at the moment: an iPhone 4S & an iPhone 4. They're both connected to the same iTunes account yet the iPhone 4 has more movies showing up for streaming than the iPhone 4S (in the picture iPhone 4 is on the left, iPhone 4S on the right).
I've tried disconnecting the iTunes account then reconnecting it. I've tried to toggle on/off the "show all videos" option in the settings & nothing changes.
Both iPhones are updated to iOS 7.0.2 & have more than enough free space (although streaming shouldn't take up much space on the devices, that's the whole point of streaming).
Any ideas on what could be going on?
PS. got a 3rd generation iPad (retina) & it too only shows 2 movies!

I cannot print from the internet but can from a word document

I have a HP Lazer Jet 1020. I cannot print directly from the internet. I can copy a document from the internet to a word document and successfully print that way, but I need to figure out how to print directly from the internet - for example, print a boarding pass.

Update your Java runtime environment to a newer version.
Which browser are you trying to print from? Had you considered trying a different browser? If you are using Internet Explorer then try Firefox or Google Chrome.
