Cannot Browse Shares on NSS326

New device - NSS326. Setup and joined win2k3 domain no issue. I can manage it via web interface with no issue. Ping by ip and dns name on network from any device. What i cannot do is browse the device. I am using the Public share that is prebuilt into the unit as testing folder. I added domain user (which i am logged in as) to the public folder with read/write permissions. Set guest access to full; When i try from Run box \\x.x.x.x\  and \\x.x.x.x\public, I get the following error back;
Windows cannot access \\nas1 Error code 0x80070035. The network path was not found.
Sometimes i get (from server 2003 machine) The specified network name is no longer available.
I brought this machine down to factory defaults and rebuilt it yesterday. Nics are setup in round-robin fasion. No other changes made other than Login style to domain\username.
I also removed from domain and re-added. Flushed DNS. Rebooted PC and NAS...
The system connection logs are empty.
Any one see this?
Thank you
Paul

josomm - thanks for the response. I did. Single NIC - even brought up the machine with no RAID setup no disk encyption - no nothing. Tried accessing it by name as well as ip. I found another entry here in the forum regarding AD users/permissions not "sticking" to shares on this device, unless I attach via iscsi.
I can and have created a lun and attached my ad controllers to it so far with no issue. This will work fine for me. It doesnt fix the issue, however I can live with it based on the role this unit will serve.
Not sure what you mean by enabling CIFS. The unit is formatted with ext4 for clustering between the 2 ad boxes.
jasbryan - I can connect via the discovery tool, however it fails on mapping a drive. I will contact cisco if iscsi option throws errors or issues my way.
Thanks again!

  • Mac cannot browse past root share, what can I do?

I have a user who's iMac is bound to our Active Directory Domain, but they cannot browse the nework shares past the root share. So, for example, if there's a directory under the path //server/share/dir1/dir2/dir3, the user cannot see anything past //server/share/. They can open any /dir1, but there's nothing in it: no files, folders, nothing. Am I missing something? Is there some right I'm supposed to grant them on either the Mac or AD? I've already attempted to unbind/bind the iMac and nothing's changed.

    Additional information:
The OS version is 10.6.8, not 10.5.8.

  • ITunes 7 cannot browse album covers on this computer error and crash

Installed iTunes 7 yesterday, and now every time I try to go to certain pages in the iTunes store, such as movies or tv shows, I get an error saying "iTunes cannot browse album covers on this computer". Then iTunes immediately crashes. Has anyone else had this problem? Any fix??
    Compaq   Windows XP

I have the same issue. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I was on the Cover Flow View and it was working fine. I clicked on the full screen icon and the entire screen went random (meaning totally random pixels of color all over). I pressed the escape key and the normal screen returned, but it only showed a black section where the covers had previously been. I restarted iTunes and it started giving me the same message. I also can see them in the lower left and on the Album View. Just the Cover Flow view doesn't work. I downloaded the latest iTunes today and I keep all of the Windows updates on.

  • I have to open firefox twice otherwise it will freeze. I can see my home page but I cannot browse. If I close it and then reopen it works fine. I have just noticed this after installing the latest version

Firefox freezes when I open it. I can see my homepage (incomplete) but I cannot browse. The cursor moves but cannot open anything. If I close and reopen firefox it works fine.
    == This happened ==

  • The 3G symbol is not showing up on my home screen and I cannot browse the net, any suggestions?

The 3G symbol does not show up on my home page and I cannot browse the Internet or receive mail. Any advice?

    reset the iphone
    1. press the wake/sleep button the top until you get the red slider
    2. Slide to power off
    3. Wait for phone to power off (you get a spinning gear icon for a while)
    4. press the wake/sleep button to turn in back on.
if that doesn't work reset network settings
    1. Go to Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings
    2. Confirm that you want to do this and the phone will restart itself
if that doesn't work restore the phone in iTunes, but you will want to sync all of your data before you do that.

  • Open pdf in mobile browser (share point 2013)

    hello,
I need to Open pdf  in mobile  browser (share point 2013).i tried browser handling type in  permissive mode.
but i couldn't view the pdf when i access through mobile browser.
is there any work around to do this .?
    any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks regards, Vignesh.

Per the earlier thread, your best bet is to use Office Web Apps in conjunction with SharePoint 2013 to display PDFs. Otherwise a browser needs a control (which most if not all mobile browsers will not have) to handle viewing PDFs in the browser.

  • WRT54G3G-ST - Connection is up but I cannot browse

I have a WRT54G3G-ST with a PX-500 Sprint Aircard. If the connection is left idle for 6 - 10 hours it stays connected but I cannot browse or ping outside my local network, basically I cannot browse the Internet at all. The connection says it is connected. If I ping a valid Internet address from a command prompt or the router it fails. If I reboot or powercycle the router everything works fine. Anyone else seeing this?

I believe this is happening to me.   Just started a few days ago.   If I rebooted and/or powered down the equipment, usually the signal would return.   I am a router newbie.   how do I reflashing the router's firmware?    What is so weird with this is that I can not surf the new with firefox or internet explorer, but I can send and receive emails though outlook on my personal PC.   On my work laptop, if I am not logged in through the VPN, I can not surf the net.   If I am logged in through my VPN for work, I can access the internet.    So instructions would be helpful or reference to a published doc.
Also, does anyone know how to change your email address on this board?  for the life of me, I can not find a place to do that.
    Thanks!

  • Extreme Problem - Cannot browse, or even connect.

Setup: Airport Extreme connected to Unwired (ISP) ADSL modem by ethernet cable. Local ISP (Australia) ramps down the speed to dial-up speed if monthly download (1GB) limit is exceeded - that is the situation now.
Problems: (1) I have an I-book that is "connected" to the airport, but the web browser (IE) cannot browse. I keep getting a "connection failure" message. Internet Connect shows a successful connection tot he wireless and to the internet.
(2)I also have a PC connected to the Airport by the ethernet cable and can browse OK (but slow). However, if I try to connect the PC by the wireless to the airport I get the message that Windows cannot make the connection.
The signal strength of the wirelss is very strong for both computers.
I have called the ISP (Unwired) to see if there is some sort of hardware control info they need. No, they say to put everything in automatic.
I have reset both the modem and the Airport's configuraqtion for maximum availability, and have left them off for a few minutes.
Thewre is WEP encryption, but I have included the passwords when necesary.
    Any ideas?? Many thanks!

Sounds like your iBook is experiencing a DNS problem. See KB 106798, Mac OS: Troubleshooting "A connection failure has occurred", "The specified server could not be found" or Similar Messages.

  • Cannot browse Netflix, only can see instant queue.

When I open Netflix on Apple TV2 I no longer can see "Suggestions for You", "Browse", "Movies"...etc.  I can see instant queue, and logout.  I restarted and get same results.  Anyone else?

I've had similar issues with the Macs on my network (including the Mini on the TV); I generally cannot browse the streaming catalog with images and lose various levels of connects to Netflix CDNs (I usually lose all images of titles, in most cases cannot access the stream, in some cases can access the streams). This appears in my case to be a Mac specific issue (Windows machines, iPad, iPhone -- even Ubuntu, though it can't stream, can browse the library and get images from the Netflix CDN). Unitl today, a router reboot, clearing all caches and cookies, and some screaming would seem to get it working again ... Netflix (via phone) told me to contact Apple; their support script for Safari isn't even for 5.1 ... ugh ...

  • Cannot Browse Album Covers

Hello All, first time posting here....hope someone can help! I have upgraded two versions of Itunes for my PC, the and I still cannot browse album artwork. I can see artwork for my playlists and main library, but when I click the far right button, I guess it would be called the Cover Flow button, I get a message saying "Itunes is unable to browse album covers on this computer."
I installed Itunes for my gf last night on her pc, and that feature works great, but not on mine. Am I missing something?
    thanks,
    Kelly

Thanks for the link, most helpful article! Looks like my video card is probably not updated, so looks like I'll have to update the drivers or may get a new video card, been wanting to get one anyways. I've downloaded a driver for my card from the SIS site, now it's in a zip file and I don't know how to open it! I'm running something called WinRar (i think)

  • Cannot browse the net

i recently purchased  WRT54GS and since the day i bought it i am having this issue where i cannot browse eventhough i see the the wireless network connection icon strength showing either excellent or very good, several times i have taken online help on the linksys site but the problem remains, its just very frustrating, would some one please help??????

You must setup a router first through a wired connection. If the computer works through a wired connection you can deal with the wireless side.
Have you changed the router password from "admin" to something else?
Have you change your SSID from "linksys" to something else on the router?
    Have you configure wireless security?

  • Cannot browse phone or synchronise

    Hi
I was wondering if somebody could help me. I have Nokia N70 and my set up is as follows:
    - Windows XP SP2
    - PC Suite 6.70.22
    - Connected via USB cable connection
My phone used to connect to my PC and synchronise with PC Suite and Microsoft Outlook fine. However, recently it just stopped. I have looked all over the discussion forums and tried everything - uninstalling and reinstalling PC Suite, uninstalling and reinstalling the USB device drivers, deleting all calendar entries etc. The error message I get when I try to synchronise is "PC Sync has encountered a problem and has terminated the synchronisation." Also, I cannot browse the phone via Windows Explorer - when I click on Nokia Phone Browser\Nokia N70 an error dialog appears that just says "Operation could not be completed." The phone USB device drivers appear to have installed correctly in the Device Manager (on some installs they didn't but I ran the Nokia PC Suite Cleaner and afterwards they installed fine).
Any help would be appreciated. I'm beginning to think my PC is fine but my phone isn't.
    Thanks
    Mik

It helps if you can provide all relevant data, otherwise I will just end up suggesting nonsense.
It seems the new profile thing has something to do with this, but I cannot suggest anything.
    About the browsing problem:
I am sure you have read the "32dll" - fix suggestion from this forum (I let you dig it up though :-) for the operation could not be completed. It is normally for XP SP´1, but if you do a lot of editing in your PC on your own, that might help.
If not, unistall again and run PC Suite Cleaner from www.nokia.com/pcsuite -> support and install PC Suite 6.70.22 again.
    Good luck.

  • Cannot browse to Outlook webmail - Firefox, Mac

    I have Firefox 35.0.1 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
On Firefox, I cannot browse to webmail.oxfam.ca.  I can do so on Safari on the same computer but on Firefox, the wheel just spins, Connecting... and eventually it times out and I get a blank page with an error message.
I've looked for solutions on line having to do with supported browsers, changing History and Security settings, and I can't find the solution. Cookies and cache have been cleared.
I can get to OWA on my other Mac on Firefox.  It's running Mavericks instead of Yosemite and the add-ons/plug-ins are a bit different from between the 2 Firefoxes but don't know which ones - if any - to change.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi HewsieQ37,
According to your description, I understand that you cannot use Firefox 35.0.1 logon OWA on Mac, however another Mac with same version works fine.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Firefox is supported for Outlook Web App when it runs on Exchange 2013, for your reference:
    https://support.office.microsoft.com/en-us/article/Outlook-Web-App-%E6%94%AF%E6%8C%81%E7%9A%84%E6%B5%8F%E8%A7%88%E5%99%A8-7bb72d5f-0b1d-47f6-bd6f-2623ab3aeed8?CorrelationId=9751a8d8-22ab-4e56-bf9a-422559b1419c&ui=zh-CN&rs=zh-CN&ad=CN
Besides, since other Mac with same browser works well, it indicate that the issue may be related to client.
During my research, I suspect the problem may be caused by Mavericks.
Please try to update to latest version, meanwhile you can contact Mac support team so that you can get more professional suggestions.
