Ok I am having a problem I cannot drag any of my music on my itunes library onto my iphone. I have looked online at everyones comments and what they tell you to do and nothing works and plus when you click the things they tell you to click on it says its going to delete everything on your iphone and i hit cancel can some please help me!

You will have to check the manually manage music box.
Changing from syncing to manually managing will indeed erase the current content.
Why not just sync the music?

Cannot transfer mp4 from iTunes library to iPod

I have an mp4 that plays fine in my iTunes library, but won't transfer to my iPod, I just get the 'cannot be played on this iPod' message. I've tried going to Advanced and 'create iPod version' but then I get a movie with just a blank white page. Any ideas for why this would happen or what I might need to do to
convert it further (and if so, in clear terms as I'm not very good at that type of thing without explicit directions!) Thank you!

poor thing. you've been having a rough time of it with problems lately. my sympathies.
i reset, restored and did everything i can possibly think of, and now the msg pops up "disk cannot be read or written to". is my hard drive damaged?
here's a good place to start with that error message. (there are actually a bunch of different things that can be causing it.)

Cannot Move Apps from Itunes Library to my touch

Have a touch with software version 1.1.5. I have downloaded apps and they currently reside in a folder in my Itunes library. However, there is no Apps tab under my "device" and I cannot get the apps to synch to my IPOD Touch. They are only on my PC. I have updated my software but cannot get the Apps from the library to the device. Any help?

Apps are only available on ios 2 or later.

How do I move songs from the itunes library to the ipod? Have tried dragging & dropping it will not

So how exactly are you wanting to or trying to add content to your iPod? Manually or via automatic syncing? Do you have content stored in your iTunes library that you can play? Any error messages when you try to add or sync content to it?
What didn't work? Need A LOT more detail here in order to assist you.

Cannot Burn Cd from iTunes

Lately, I have been unable to burn a cd, whether an Audio or MP3 cd. I will have a given playlist that correctly fits the available space. I press burn cd...and it says checking playlist, and will go so far as to say burn initialzied. then momentarily after, it will say cancelling-this may take a minute or two. it will then eject the cd and pop up an error message citing a 4 digit number that starts with a 4. in general i have been having trouble burning cds with itunes and other programs as well. can anybody help me, it will be appreciated. thanks!

Ok. I downloaded 7.1. and i had the same problem.

I am beginning to think it might be the driver because no program seems to be any better. If this is the case, is this easily replaced, and is it expensive. Let me know if you need any other info. Again, I appreciate your help a great deal!!

I can burn CD from itunes library and play CD on computer but when i try

to play CD in my car or truck, it will not play.

My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

What are your sync settings in iTunes for the audio content? Do you have the option to manually manage content selected from the Summary page of your device in iTunes?

Cannot sync music from itunes library on my laptop to my i pad

Everything including audio books sync but not my music. I tried opening the album and clicking on each song individually and draging it to my i pad icon but that didn't work either.

Sync your iphone 5 to iTunes. Once you haev done that, you should be able to copy the music and other files to your iPhone.

Thanks Dave. I'm getting increasingly frustrated because twice I got some way with a sync of apps and then got error messages. One was that the iPad had 'disconnected', which I just don't follow. And despite at least 20 or so apps apparently getting synced (i.e. seen in the 'progress bar at the top'), oly a couple are now displayed:

I closed the error message and tried the Sync button again, and that apparently started a backup. That's been going for 15 mins or so, and I'm a bit worried because the connected iPad was displaying a message 'Not charging'. So if the backup continues for hours it may well exhaust the battery.
Reckon I'll sleep on it and get back on the case in the morning, including trying your suggestion.

Whether or not the track infomation shows up on a burned CD depends on if you are creating an Audio CD or an MP3 CD; track information is not available on audio CDs. The following articles have more information regarding burning CDs from iTunes:

If iTunes still isn't burning after the repair install, bob, could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:

Yes you can drag and drop music to the iPiod if you select Manually Manage Music and Videos in iTunes.
