i have had iTunes since Christmas, and have made several purchases, an album then a single. then suddenly, with no change ... i go the message "YOU CANNOT BUY BECAUSE YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DISABLED, To continue using your account it must be enabled by the iTunes Store Customer Service. You can contact customer service a http://www.apple.com/uk/support/itunes/musicstore" this the sent me to a big page which had every other problem BUT mine and no way of contact without having a specific question, i have finally discovered this discussion page and i'm not hoping som1 can give me some advice. i have a Nano G3 and am using a gift card on iTunes, it has been around for a while, and i have tried all i can. i cannot buy anything but download if fine. Please Help Me!!

You're going to have to email them. No one here will be able to help you. Don't worry so much about the category you are picking - that really doesn't matter in the end. They will be able to help you no matter what you choose. Good luck.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I successfully redeemed an itunes gift card today, and the balance was added to my account, but now I cannot buy anything from the store, and when I did buy something, the money was taken from my bank account, not the balance....what am I doing wrong here?

On the iPad - go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap on your old ID and sign out. Then sign in with your changed/new ID.

Other people have also posted recently about being asked the questions despite it not being the first purchase on the computer or device.
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . Contact Apple through iTunes Store Support, and explain that you have forgotten your 3 security questions, that you can reset your password, but doing so doesn't reset your security questions.
Explain that after resetting your password, you are still asked for the answers you have forgotten, before you can gain access to My Apple ID > Manage your account > Password & security, which is where you need to be to change your answers.
Remember, support will receive hundreds, if not thousands of requests per day, some from people trying it on, others with little explanation and others that are written extremely poorly. Take the time to explain your situation properly, be precise and concise, brief but comprehensive.
