Cannot Call on my Blackberry 8320 but can receive calls

I was wondering if I could get some help.
I recently purchased a Blackberry 8320 off of an ebay store from Japan. It is an unlocked phone GSM phone.
I live in Canada and I cannot make calls, it just says "Call Failed" but I can recieve calls and I can send and receive text messages.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I suggest the following steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you will need to contact your carrier for assistance.

First let me dish out all my settings...

I've tried many many many times to get video chat working with my wife at her office but suspect it's her companies firewall that's the issue. However, I also tried to connect to a PC running AIM 5.9 which we have at the house (thus within our home network my iMac is on). And here is problem I can't figure out and am therefore looking for some help.
The PC (Windows XP Home SP2) has the TCP 2869 and UDP 1900 ports in Windows firewall checked (and Scope is "Any").
If I try to start a video chat from iChat on the Mac to the PC, the PC gets the "Invitation" in AIM but then comes up with error messages after clicking "Accept" button.
However....
If I try to start the video chat from AIM (using the Video button in AIM) my iMac gets the "Invitation" in iChat and bam! everything works just fine.
This is very frustrating, any suggestions or can anyone pinpoint any incorrect settings I have listed above?

may I try contacting you to test my ichat. I've been trying to do an A/V chat with my son in New York. He can do A/V chat with one of his pals here in Glasgow, so his end seems ok, I'm sure the problem is with my set up and suspect the router f/wall, I have a Netgear DG834G on MacBook Pro. The chat window buttons for A/V were 'greyed' out, but now appear to be ok, when I try to start A/V chat I get the message "waiting on connection" then 'connection failed"

Make sure that your username and password are set in the outgoing mail servers setting.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

iPhone 4 came with IOS 4 in June 2010 not IOS 2.x
Call your carrier and ask them why.

Settings>FaceTime...is it on? If so, try turning it off, wait ~30 seconds or so, then turn it back on.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

The SIM question/issue is separate from all of the others. Your iPhone will not access the cellular newtwork until you install a new SIM. The current SIM has been deactivated and is now useless. Get a new SIM, install it (or have it installed), then have your carrier grant the iPhone access to the cellualr network.

Right-Click (or Ctrl-Click) on any mailbox and choose Get Info (you can also invoke this window by typing Command-I). Now, in the Account menu, choose the account that isn't working properly. Does Mail display all your messages there, even those that it fails to download?
If the answer is yes, don't close the Get Info window yet. I'm going to propose a solution that will cause all your mail still on the server to be re-downloaded again as if it was all new, no matter how old it is or whether Mail had already downloaded it. Hence, before proceeding, you may want to delete any messages still on the server that you don't want to be downloaded again. You can accomplish this in the Get Info window by selecting the messages you want to permanently delete from the server and clicking the Remove From Server button at the bottom right of the Get Info window.
Now, follow these steps:
1. Quit Mail.
2. In the Finder, open the HOME/Library/Mail/POP-<account-name>/ folder.
3. Move any files in that folder whose name starts with MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded to the Trash.
These files keep track of which messages have already been downloaded, so that Mail does not download them again every time it connects to the server. Moving them out of the account folder causes Mail to forget that information and start downloading from scratch all over again.
For some reason, the information in these files can become inaccurate at some point for people with Comcast accounts. I'm not sure it is a file corruption problem. When these files are the problem, Comcast seems to always be involved. I wonder why your wife has not experienced the same problem, though. Maybe she just hasn't yet or maybe Eudora keeps track of downloaded messages using a different technique...

Mac mail works perfectly fine so I don't want to screw it up by altering anything there.
However, I've checked to make sure I didn't miss anything on Outlook, but it still won't send messages. I don't know if I need to fill the "Unqualified domain" field?
