Cannot call out or receive calls without getting a busy signal.

I can't even connect to my own voicemail without this problem happening. I can send and receive text messages just fine, as well as use mobile data. I've removed and replaced the Sim card as well as trying to change the network mode from Global to LTE/CDMA, getting the same results after each attempt to fix it. If it matters, I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S5.

    LindaKC,
Help has arrived! Thanks for taking a few of our basic troubleshooting steps to help resolve this concern. What zip code are you located in when experiencing these issues? Have you attempted to disabled call forwarding by dialing *73 (send) from your mobile phone?

  • Iphone 4s won't call out or receive calls or messages

got my self a iPhone 4s off my friend locked on Vodafone phone was working fine to I got it unlocked after a few days it just kept on saying call ended right away. I was so confuse  I try every thing to sort it out and I mean everything even went to Apple store and they done all there tests and said I need a new phone as it has hardware problems and I need to pay £160 for a replacement phone as my warranty run out = ( and you think I'm going to pay that when I just bought this phone off my friend noooooo way .... I thought I try one last thing as I had full t-Mobile signal and 3G and Internet but could not call out or receive calls so weird anyway I thought I'd put a Vodafone chip back in the phone as it's was locked on Vodafone before and see what happens and guess what no service so that got me thinking that the phone has been blocked . So I phoned up Apple and give you IME number to see if it was blacklisted and they said it ain't ?????? So what now well I got my friend to call Vodafone up to see if they blacklisted it and guess what there did as my friend lost the new phone they got and Vodafone decided to block both serial numbers how fun for me not. so now they have un blacklisted my phone and it works just fine = ) lucky I did not pay apple for a phone hey don't believe everything they say and don't give up

Good morning.  Recently I had the same problem - I could not access the cellular data network.  I was informed by our local Internet Service Provider that, every so often, the phone (iPhone 4S) would reset itself.  In so doing, it purges some information that is really needed.  The ISP had to walk me through the steps to re-entering that info; after that, it worked just fine.  She said that they have instruction cards available at the ISP's office, and that I should go get one for future reference.  It may be a problem connected with relatively small providers – it's not a nationwide carrier, like Sprint or AT&T.  She asked me, "Didn't they tell you about that when you bought the phone?"  Well, of course not.  Live and learn!

  • Updated my iphone 4 to IOS 5, can't call out or receive calls

Since upgraded my iphone 4 to IOS 5, when I go to a place there is no network reception in the suburbs and then come back home where there is ,the phone totally can't find the network carrier, although it shows up on the screen.  I try to restarted it so many times. I can't call out or receive any calls. The only thing I can do is go online.
I have to restore the phone so many times to get it to work again.

  • Downloaded ios7 and now can't dial out or receive calls on my iphone4

I cannot dial out or receive calls on my iphone 4 since downloading ios7

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • Phone is searching...cannot text, make or receive calls

I have powered off and back on and it's still doing the same thing. I have an unlimited data plan, but cannot get onto the internet either. However, I can connect to the wifi at my work and am receiving emails and can get online. Still cannot text, make or receive calls.

Were you able to resolve this issue?  Mine did the exact same thing 3 weeks ago.  Took it into the Diamond Wireless Premier Provider Kiosk where I had purchased and signed up...after powering down, going to plane mode and trying a reset - nothing happened.  They sent a new one to me and alas after another week...same thing.  They're sending another one - I'm tired of this happening.

  • HT201436 how do you set up voicemail on the i5? People are calling me, it rings 4 times then a busy signal.  I recorded a VM, but what am I missing?

How do you set up voicemail for an I5?  People are calling me, it rings 4 times, then they get a busy signal.

This sounds like something on the carrier's end. Call them and see if they have your account provisioned for voicemail.

  • Can't make any FaceTime calls, but can receive calls

Any advice on how to enable outgoing Facetime calls on an iPad 2.
I have set Facetime up with my Apple User ID and several people have been able to make Facetime calls to me and they work perfectly. However, if I try to initiate a Facetime call to any user, I always get the message that they are unavailable for Facetime. I have checked with each of them that I have the correct emails in my contacts that is associated with their Apple IDs and with their Facetime, but still I can't make any calls to them.
I have not found anything in the Apple support pages that is effective. I have also completely wiped the iPad back to the just out of the bax stage and set it up from scratch as a new iPad, but that didn't help at all. I have also reset all settings, tried changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8, but nothing seems to make any difference. It will not make any outgoing calls with facetime, but is happy to receive them.
Am I missing something obvious ?
It is an iPad 2 (wifi and 3G model), but doesn't have a 3G SIM installed yet. I understand Facetime doesn't use 3G, only wifi.

You might be right about the email thingy.
I have managed to overcome the problem somewhat by getting the contacts I couldn't call to Facetime me on my MacBook Pro. This leaves their contact details on the Recents list in the Facetime window. I was able to click on these contact details to make a reply call. I then added them to the Favourites list (click the > symbol next to the recent contact and click the Add to Favourites button). The email address appears the same as before, but the one in the Favourites list works.

  • Can't make any calls. Can receive calls, sms data etc just fine

    Hi,
All of a sudden this mid-morning, I wasn't able to make any calls from my iPhone 4S.
Everything else works fine. was able to make calls earlier in the morning too.
    Have tried:
    - turning it on and off
    - soft reset
    - turning airplane mode on and off
    - checking caller ID
    - resetting network settings
    nothing works.
Please let me know what else I can try.
Signal is good, when I receive calls, voice are crystal clear.
Phone is provided from my company, so no problem with payments i think.
updated to ios 5.1.1 last week.

Check to make sure you haven't accidently turned "Airplane Mode" on. If that's not on, try syncing and backing up your phone and doing a complete reset and sync everything back onto your phone. If all else fails, contact your phone company. Good Luck.
