Cannot Change Identities / Email where Submit button emails responses to

I have created, entiriely, in LiveCycle a form. When it is distributed it AUTOMATICALLY inserts my own email to where the repsonses go to. Cannot - REPEAT CANNOT- Alter it.
THIS IS NOT THE SUBMIT BUTTON THAT YOU PUT INTO A FORM.
This is the "Submit" that is automatically generated and put into the PDF TAB when a form is distributed.
I've gone into Acrobat / LiveCycle and changed "identies" but the response STILL goes to my Email. It NEVER picks up my changed Identity - and shows my own email and not the one I want responses sent to.
Rebooted after chainging Identities  - STILL goes to my email.
Edited in the Acrobat - STILL - goes to my email - SUBMIT button (automatically created when you distribute the form) ALWAYS says to send to my email.
Edit the options/properties to change - MY EMAIL IS GREYED OUT AND CANNOT ALTER IT IN THE DISTIBUTON panel where you can select options as how the form is distrubited - selecting EMAIL response to form submission.
It ALWAYS SHOWS my Active Directoy LOGON ID as the form OWNER - CANNOT CHANGE IT.
We are IN an Active Directory environemnt and my logon account has NO RIGHTS to change MASTER registry Win7 entries at all - only (like normal) my own preferences - BUT LIVE CYCLE / ADOBE DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING with email at all concerning the auto email sent to portion. I can change "sent by" but NOT who I want responses sent to.
Cannot FIND at all any XML preferences file in registry / file system to hack and manually change it.
You look at the XML data in the form and it shows my email address - AND ALL XML data is BLOCKED from being edit at all in the form - and NO idea where it is pulling this information from.
Is there ANY WAY at all to change --- WITHOUT WRITING ANY CODE - to alter where a distributed form is to send email repsonses to.
CANNOT, REPEAT CANNOT - use any cloud, online or any external source at all. Cannot use Acrobat.com.
Thanks,
Tom

The email address is coded into the server script file that processes the form data.
Look for the below file on the server and see if you can open it and locate the email address. It's a Cold Fusion file

And what happened when you tried? And please don't say it didn't work, we know that. Describe what happens when you "try" to change the password. Are the settings greyed out and therefore, you can't change anything? Can you send emails? You said you can't "get" emails so i interpret that to mean that you can't receive them.
Did you try quitting the settings app, reboot theniPad and then "try" again to see if that will allow you to change the setting?
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the settings icon. Tap the home button twice,
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
You don't have Restrictions set that would prevent you from changing the password in Settings>General>Restrictions>Allow Chamges>Accounts.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple,  Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

cannot change my email account that the iTunes store uses for my login

What happens when you try to change it ? You should be able to change by logging into your account on this page : http://appleid.apple.com
Or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes
You might then need to log out of your account on any devices (iPad, iPhone, IPod Touch) that you have and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.

  • Issue: cannot change primary email address

I can't seem to change my default email address for my skype account. I can add a new one, and when I want it changed, I get a pop up window where it asks for a password. It doesn't say which password, but I've tried the 3-4 PW's I use on the web, of course including the skype password. It still won't accept it. There's no way I've lost the skype PW, as I used it to log into my account less than an hour ago. Caps lock is off, too.
There's one weird issue that's maybe related to this... the old email (which is useless) is to a passport.com account, and in order to log in to Skype I have to go through the microsoft account option. If I use my old msn login details I won't get in. Though, I've verified that the password I'm trying to use matches the password for that passport account. I really don't know what to do here, it seems like it's asking for a PW I didn't make myself.

Also same issue.  had a multitude of issues tring to change my email and/or get away from my microsofy sign-in but every possible avenue reasches a strange dead-end.
    >Can't see skype from my live account under 'manage your accounts' but should be able to

    >In IE can access options in the account management of skype to change the default email but then asked to provide a mystery password which isn't my skype/MS password; so which password is it?
    >Can create a new skype only account but doesn't give link options for facebook or live
    >Can create a new skype account with just facebook but then doesn't allow a link to live
    >Follow the support tabs but none of the help sections work, responding likely generates only a statistic.
    >The information on getting to talk to an actuall person (live chat) is wrong as it asks you to click next through the relevent help support page and if none of the resolutions solve your problem the final prompt has a live chat button.  unfortunatley none of the help sections even seem to have multiple sections or indeed a next button never mind a live chat button...  I could go on.  WTF is this..why am i wasting my time.
Is anyone going to respond to this and sort it out?  It feels very much like a pain in the arse!

  • Cannot change primary email because password is no...

I need to change my primary email.
Had no problem to add a new email address in the email settings.
But when I try to set the new email address as primary email I am prompted to re-confirm the change by entering my password again. After hitting enter I am always getting an error message: either "400 bad request" or "wrong password" - but it is the right password. I logged in with it before.
Exactly follow the steps from the FAQ - but #7. Enter your existing password, then click Enter." failed...
    https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA96/how-do-i-change-my-email-address-or-add-another-email-address-...
I am using MacOSX 10.6.8 and tried to change this setting after logging in with Firefox 14.0.1 and Safari 5.1.7 - failed with both browsers with the same error. Must be either an error with your webpage or in the skype account administration.

I found a solution on my own. Skype did not answer me to solve my problem - but: it is their problem: it's a glitch in the Skype webpage or password system! And from my point of view a lack in the matter of how the software developers pay attention to security issues because the problem (but not the solution) was mentioned a few times in the support network....
As I found out the exact problem is:
If you have a skype user password with special characters (e.g. & ! ? * etc.) it will not be accepted by the window (or the script that checks your password) that pops up to re-confirm (with your password) that you want to change you primary email address. Well, and I had a password with special characters
Not very good from a security point of view... as we are always taught that we should use passwords that are a mixture of UPPER and lower case letters, numbers and special characters to gain maximum security.
That means: in the case to change your primary email address Skype does not allow maximum security. And this case is a very personal case - see a story what happens if it’s to easy to change email addresses: How Apple and Amazon Security Flaws Led to My Epic Hacking http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/08/apple-amazon-mat-honan-hacking/
Solution (provisional - a proper one has to come from Skype):
    1. Change your password into a simple one with letters & numbers only like doUh8me
    2. Then go directly to the process of changing you primary email address
    3. After that immediately change your password again into a complicated mixture incl special characters etc. like hELLOu@SKYpe!?M8BEuseFULLtomakePW0RDSm0resecure?!?
And please Mr. & Mrs. Skype: get in a hurry to let us use a maximum secure password everywhere where we need to enter it... thank you!

  • Cannot change default email when using MDM

I use an MDM (AirWatch) to setup Exchange ActivSync email for all my users.  It sets up a profile with the user's email.  If they have other personal email addresses on the phone, they cannot change the default email to Exchange email that I setup through the MDM.  It is not an option in the Settings-Mail/Contacts/Calendars-Default Account field.
The option to change the default account for the default Calendar is there, but not for email.
When I email by clicking on an email address in a website it opens Mail, but the Exchange email is not option.
If I manually setup the Exchange email I can select it as default.
If there are no other personal emails setup the Exchange that is setup from the MDM it will mail from that account.
    Any thoughts?

I figured out the issue.  The MDM (AirWatch) has a feature of the ActivSync setup called "Prevent use from third party apps"
This stops the Exchange ActivSync email account from being able to be set as the default account  Settings-Mail/Contacts/Calendars-Default Account field.
I do not know why they think that the Safari browser built into the phone as a "third party app" but atleast we are working.

    Can this be done?
Mac 10.6 Intel Core 2 Duo

    Hi michaelfromripley,
Thanks for the question.  If you first change your rescue email address to a different email address, then you should be able to change your primary email address for your Apple ID.  The following resources will explain more:
Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201356
Add, change, or delete the several types of email addresses you can use with your Apple ID account.
    Primary email address
Every Apple ID account has one primary email address, and that address is your Apple ID. When you create an Apple ID, you enter the primary address to use as your Apple ID.
Your primary address is also the contact email address for your account. Check it regularly, because it receives email that you need to manage your account. For example, before you can use a new or changed Apple ID, you need to verify it as directed in a verification email that Apple sends to that address. Didn't receive the email?Rescue email address
A rescue address helps secure your Apple ID account against unauthorized access by someone who gains control of your primary address. If you have a rescue address, it receives all security-related Apple ID email instead of your primary address, including the email needed to reset your password or security questions.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
Select “Password and Security” on the left side of the page. You may be asked to answer one or more security questions before continuing. Forgot the answers?
If you see a list of three security questions, your account has the option to use a rescue address.
Accounts that have fewer than three questions don't have and don't need a rescue address.
Accounts that use two-step verification don't have and don't need a rescue address or security questions.
    Add a rescue address:
Select Add Email Address, then enter your rescue address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address. If you don't verify the address, security-related email continues to go to your primary address.
    Edit a rescue address:
Select Edit next to the address, then enter the new address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address. If you don't verify the address, security-related email continues to go to your primary address.
Delete a rescue address: Select Delete next to the address.
    Alternate email address
You can add one or more alternate email addresses for use with Apple services such as Game Center, FaceTime, Find My Friends, iMessage, and OS X notifications.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
    Add an alternate address:
Select Add Email Address, then enter your alternate address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
    Edit an alternate address:
Select Edit next to the address, then enter the new address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
Delete an alternate address: Select Delete next to the address.
    Notification email address
A notification address is automatically added to your account in certain circumstances:
If you have a rescue address and turn on two-step verification, that address automatically becomes your notification address. With two-step verification, you don't need a rescue address.
If you provide an email address with your shipping information when you purchase from the Apple Online Store, that address automatically becomes your notification address.
Your primary address receives a copy of all Apple ID email that Apple sends to your notification address.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
    Edit a notification address:
Select Edit next to the address, then enter the new address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
Delete a notification address: Select Delete next to the address.

Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202667
Learn how to change the email address that you use as your Apple ID.
In most cases, your Apple ID is also the primary email address of your Apple ID account. You can change your Apple ID to any other email address you control, as long as it's not already in use as an Apple ID. If your email address ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com, it's already an Apple ID.
Use these steps to reset your Apple ID:
Sign out of iCloud, the iTunes Store, App Store, FaceTime, Find My Friends, Find My iPhone, and iMessage on each device that uses your current Apple ID for these services.
    Go to My Apple ID.
Select Manage your Apple ID and sign in. Forgot your password?
Select Edit next to Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
Enter the email address that you want to use as your Apple ID, then select Save Changes. Apple will send a verification email to that address.
Open the email from Apple, then click Verify Now. Didn't receive the email?
When the My Apple ID page opens, sign in with your new Apple ID email address and password. When you see a message that verification is complete, you can start using your updated Apple ID.
Update the features and services that you use with Apple ID, so that each one is using your updated Apple ID.
If you need to change the Apple ID that's signed in to your iOS device, use these steps to sign out, then back in with a different Apple ID.

  • Cannot change my email address

I just tried twice to change my email address. Each time, it said it changed it, I got the verification email, I clicked on the link, I checked the Settings, and the new email address was displayed. And both times when I logged off, I was unable to log back in using the new email address. I could using the old one. What is going on?

    Hi John,
This is all very well, but it seems that there's an endemic problem here - I'm experiencing the same problem as those above, and after 18 months I'm sure we're not alone.  Is anybody actually working out what the root cause of the problem is and fixing it once and for all?  You shouldn't really continue point customers back to the customer help guys on a case by case basis - it must be driving a huge amount of waste into the system, which must now be operating with a lot of out of date email addresses and annoyed the customers.
So, what's the underlying problem with changing the email address in MyBT?
Why has this been a problem for so long?
When is expected to be fixed?
How can everyone else visiting this thread get their problem solved without having to make yet another contact?

  • Cannot change the email address where Apple sends "help for resetting info dealing with security questions".  Won't allow change.

I have forgotten the answer to one of two My Apple ID security questions.  Apple has supplied the solution to that problem online in Edit Your Apple ID.   I would be happy to follow those instructions, except......the only email address the Edit Your Apple ID page will allow me is one that has not been functional for over a year.  There are no options for changing that recovery email address since I only have two security questions, not three, as Apple specifies. Neither can I find an option for switching to the two-stage verification process---although I would rather not do this.  I recently edited my email addresses in My Apple ID on my Sony Vaio laptop in an effort to alleviate the problem, but it didn’t help. I use the Apple ID on an iPad (4th gen Wi-Fi + Cellular MM) and two iPhone 5 (IOS 8).  Does anyone have suggestions? Feel that I've read through all the fine print and cannot locate an answer.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • I cannot change send emails from iOS5

    Hi all,
I have an old "mac.com" userID Apple and I made a new "me.com" email address that I use on iCloud.
Everything works fine, except on my iPhone 4. I cannot send email from my me.com address from the phone.
I found out that in "Preferences>iCloud>Account" my email is the mac.com userID and not the me.com email address.
I think the phone tries to send emails using "mac.com" account, therefore the SMTP doesn't match.
I checked on the iCloud Account Informations on my preference pane of my iPhone and the "mac.com" email address in written in light grey, which means that I am not able to change it.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you
    G.S.

    Hello,
Who is your eMail provider, the part after the @ sign?
In Mail's Window Menu, choose Connection Doctor, any red dots for status, if so what is the message?
Then click the Show Details button & Check again.

  • Cannot Change primary email address Azure + Office365

I'm having an issue with one of my users, their primary email uses @on.microsoftonline.com where the rest of my users use @ourdomain.co.uk. Usually I'd change this on 365 admin center but we have recently started using Azure Active sync so it throws up an
error requiring me to change it on the premises AD. My problem now is I cant find where to change this, I've read a few different forum posts the most solid one thus far was to use a tool called AD modify but this doesn't seemed to have done the trick.
    Cheers,
    Nathan

Check the errors in MIISClient or in the dirsync notification emails, maybe the user is not getting updated because of an issue with other attributes. Or the address might already be configured for another object in the cloud. Easiest way to confirm this
is via running this cmdlet against EO Remote PowerShell:
    Get-Recipient [email protected]
You can also 'overwrite' the address even for a synchronized user by running this cmdlet:
Set-Mailbox [email protected] -WindowsEmailAddress [email protected]
