Cannot change mousewheel scroll value

After re-installing windows and everything that I had on my old desktop, I seem to be unable to change my mouse-scrolling amount on firefox. I've looked through all the troubleshooting questions that have already been posted, and all the users answered that I had to access about:config and change the mousewheel.withnokey.numlines value.
However, when accessing about:config, I've discovered that not only do I not have the specified integer I have no integer with a preference name that contains "withnokey" , so I had tried to add it in myself, but to no avail. Currently my scroll is doing about 6-7 lines, and I'd like to lower it down to about 3.

Thanks! The article you linked essentially solved the problem, as while changing the mousewheel.default.delta_multiplier_... value did slow down everything, I couldn't specify any value.
For anyone else who has the same problem as I did (as if haha), search for the '''mousewheel.system_scroll_override_on_root_content.vertical.factor''' option, and then change that number to your preference.

[SOLVED] Cannot change GSettings in any way!

Hi, I have a huge problem. I cannot change any GSetting value as normal user. I tried dconf-editor, just can't change anything. I tried gsettings from terminal, it doesn't show any errors, but values are not changed whatever I do. As root this all works normally.
As a workaround I have tried copying .config/dconf/user from root to user account, doesn't work.
What can I do to fix this?

If you activate it will applicable to entaire client (it is not comp code specific)
For Activation USe T.Code: OB32 maintain Field (BKPF-XBLNR), Account Type & Transaction Type Blank
Remove Field Can be change Check Box

Comment on usual method and solution, by a forum Moderator.
As long as there are no confounding factors, such as certain extensions, or a user.jsfile the procedure is as follows
# Open a new tab and type "about:config" in the address bar.
# In the Search bar type: "newtab"
# Locate and double click "browser.newtab.url"
# In the "Enter String Value" box change "'''about:newtab'''" to "'''about:blank'''" and click OK.
# Verify that the value has changed and now all new tabs will be blank.

Have to say that I rather agree with Mark..all we want is a simple, unadorned clean page that doe not track and show usage!! WHY NOT!! Cannot change shortcut keys

I have a Retina MBP and on OS X 10.8. For some reason I cannot change the keyboard shortcut of items in Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Services. For instance, I would scroll down to the very bottom and add option-command-' to Unarchive To... , then click Show All, then go back to check to make sure the stored value saved. But when I quit System Preferences the value is cleared out.
I'm new to Mac, am I doing something wrong?

Can you try opening Device Manager, and open the display adapter category,
You should be seeing an Intel HD Graphics, try doing a right click on that and choose properties
Go to the driver tab and click on Roll back driver, if available, Restart system
If it is not available Uninstall the driver and restart windows.

No such option for moving song within playlist, only the up and down arrow which moves song from top to bottom list, so if it is #4 from top it will move to #4 from bottom. Stupid I know. I spent over an hour with Apple support, reinstalled itunes, restarted and rebooted computer. Networked with my laptop which is running 10.6.8 and itunes 10.4 and it can drag and drop. The final Apple support solution was to reinstall my operating system. I would prefer not to. Any other ideas?

After looking at other people's posts, I think it's official: there is a bug. Itunes support said I should not have lost the drag/drop tool and I haven't on the laptop that is running itunes 10.4 and operating system 10.6.8. I chatted with someboby who lost both his drag/drop and side scroll and what we have in common is a wacom tablet for a mouse. My laptop is a wireless mouse. I reinstalled whatever updated driver that wacom has out there, shut the system down for night, hoping for magic, but alas none to be had. So if I want to change song order, I network the laptop and desktop, share the screen on the laptop, drag and drop to my heart's content and curse Apple for making me work this hard to find the tool that was once at my fingertips. Apple also let me know that if I want to share songs in household that the hundreds on songs that were purchased for .99 need to be repurchased for another .30. Maybe Apple is holding my drag/drop tool captive til I pay up the money or Maybe the next update will fix the problem, I for one give up for now.

Why is mousewheel scrolling disabled/broken in Safari 5.1? is there a fix in sight? I see posts going back to July about this.
This is too much of a fundamental, functional problem to have continued for so long. I upgraded to 5.1 in hopes of the frequent crashes ceasing, but now I'm immediately struck with this problem. Not a good start.

Is it possible to change the display value of a domain-based attribute?

Hello,
I've selected a domain-based attribute for one of the leaf member attributes in the same entity, aka parent id, since it's a self-referencing entity. However, I cannot find a way to display anything but the code value in the drop-down (see below).
Is there a way to change the display value so that I can choose the attribute from the entity from which I want the user to choose? In other words, I would like to display the hierarchy name instead of the code, which is really just the primary id.

1. In the explorer page, settings dialog, you can change the display format to show only name.
2. We cannot use other freeform attribute as DisplayFormat, rather than Code Name. So there are 2 option here:
a. Remove HierarchyName attribute and just use Name attribute. In the next release, we will allow give Name, Code attribute a displayname, so you can give Name display name as "HierarchyName" in the SQL Vnext release.
b. Make a Business Rule to update Name when HierarchyName is changed.

Recently in of our product offerings we got stuck on this following question:
How to Sort Dimension based on the Order Value which Keeps Changing with Factual Values??
We have a data source laid out as (example)
In the above the “Order” columns are changing per
Company/(DimensionA) for DimesnsionB.
Instead what we want is: (But only if we can get the following result without putting the “Order” Column in the “Values” Section.
If there are any configurations that we can make to our power pivot model for the similar data set so that the
DimesnionB in this case can be sorted by the Order column, would be greatly helpful to us.

According to your description, you need to sort dimension members in Pivot Table via order column, and you don't want the order column show on the Pivot table, right?
Based on my research, we can sort the data on the Pivot table based on one of the columns in that table, and we cannot sort the data based on the columns that not existed on the Pivot table. So in your scenario, to achieve your requirement, you can
add the column to pivot table and hide it.

Planning function to change date field value in layout

Hello experts,
I have 1 BPS layout with 2 date fields ( Start date, End date ). With a filter conditions, set of data comes in BPS layout on execution and 2 date fields also contain some value...I want to change values of these 2 dates...both the date fields are char infoobjects..in BPS layout, in planning function I got only 1 function ( Repost function ) to change the value of char infoobject based on some condition. but date field value is not the status field...i want to enter new date instead of old date..if i right exit function in that also i can change only keyfigs values..so please help me to solve this problem..

As of now master data planning is not so flexibly supported.

Cannot change COGE in open Purchase Order

Hi expert,
I have a problem in a customer Business One system.
I upgrade from 8.8 to 8.81 PL10.
BEFORE the upgrade, people inserted purchase Order and, in case the CoGe account was wrong, they changed it before to create Goods Receipt from Order.
AFTER the upgrade, they CANNOT change this value even if the new order is not inserted yet... simply, it is NOT editable. Note, in the Table Format the column is Visible and Editable.
What appened? Any idea to allow user to change CoGe Account during document compilation?

How to change the location value after it is registered

hello,
I want to change the location (A) to a new schema. From what I am understanding, I need to unregister the old locatin(A) in repository browser, and then re-register it in control center, and change the schema name to my new target.
Now, I have unregisted A in the repository browser. When I come back to control center, and click the register, everything is grey out which means I cannot change the value (but i need to change the value for service name and schema), except the password value. and on the top, it says 'this location has not been registered. please complete the location parameters'.But I know on the old version, like owb 9.0.5, the grey out means this location is registered. So I am really comfused now. The location is unregisted, why cant I change the value of this location?
any suggestion will be appreciated.

Here is what I was referring to - when in Control Center, I have the database locations. (sources, targets, OWF etc). Under a database location I selected the connector/location name under Connectors. When I select Deploy Action to Drop the connector/location name will remain. However, if you were to check in the database or the Repository Browser (Locations Report) you will see that the db link is gone. At this point you can safely modify the Locations info in the Connection Explorer (in Design Center). On the other hand, if you want the location to be deleted all together then now you can delete it in the Connection Explorer panel. If you did the prior drop step then at this point all db link info should be gone from the database.
