Cannot change or delete a Visit List with old execution date

Hi all.
I'm creating a FM that updates Visit List.
Its works ok while the "execution date" field in the VL its bigger than today's date.
I cannot even change or delete it through /DSD/VC_VL.
When I try to delete or change the VL I got this message Visit list 9XXXXXXXXX cannot be changed (execution date is before today's date).
And when I try to change the header, all the fields are grey.
Any ideas?

Can anyone help please? I cannot access my email account settings within 'Settings', so I cannot change my details for existing email accounts, nor can I delete them or add others.

Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. Do you have restrictions on? If so, that would prevent you from making changes in some areas of the iPhone.

Update SharePoint list with project finish date on Project.Updated event

Hello,
I want to update a column in a SharePoint list with the project finish date when a project is updated on Project Server. My OnUpdated event handler is being called ok, but if I change the project start date Project Server runs an asynchronous republishing
on the project, and my event handler ends up being called before the finish date is update by the republishing job, so the code writes the "old" finish date on the SharePoint list. The solutions I could think of are:
Identify the republishing job on Project Server queue, pool the queue waiting for it to finish, then read the finish date and update the list item in SharePoint.
Include a custom job on Project Server queue after the republishing job, that reads the finish date and update the list item in SharePoint.
I don't know if any of the solutions are feasible and how to implement them. Has anyone coded something like this and/or have a better solution?

I did for one of my event handler..Did you try "on published" event?

Populate a list with previously gathered data

I would like to populate a dropdown list with data previously gathered within the same form. How do I do this?

There are a variety of ways. For example, if 'stooges' is a drop-down list and 'stoogeName' is a text field, you could put the following JavaScript on the exit event of 'stoogeName',

After system restore i reinstalled firefox, how to get back bookmarks etc with old firefox data?

After system restore the only thing i have is old firefox data on desktop if all bookmarks, passwords are recovered it will be great help.

i reinstall firefox from drive other than c ,that was in downloaded form.

The "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop has been created as the consequence of resetting Firefox.
Doing a Session Restore may have reverted the profiles.ini file to a previous version that hasn't registered the new profile folder that a reset had created, so you may need to check for this.

The "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K and the "AppData" folder in Windows Vista and Windows 7 and later versions are hidden folders.

If you have a profile folder that is more recent than the "Old Firefox Data" on the desktop then you can use edit the profiles.ini file and change the path of the currently default profile to the name of the profile folder as you find in Document and Settings.

It is always best to be cautious with using System Restore as this can cause some file to be replaced with older copies, i.e. your Firefox installation and profile folder can get inconsistent and you may have to reinstall Firefox as well.

Cannot change Printer Properties in Word 2010 with J6480. Properties revert to default setting

When I attempt to change Printer Properties in Word 2010, they simply revert back to the default setting. I am unable to use the Printer Properties within the Word 2010. If the default is grayscale, that is all the printer will print unless I change the default setup in the Control Panel. It appears to be an incompatibility with Office 2010 software as other programs allow the change of Printer properties.

I have the exact identical problem. Brand new printer (HP PhotoSmart C4780) on a brand new PC (Windows 7). I cannot access the printer properties dialog box when the PDF file has been opened in an embedded Adobe Viewer window in Internet Explorer.
When I select [Print] from Word or Adobe Viewer, or anywhere else, I can then press the [Properties] button and it opens the printer properties just fine.
But if I open a PDF document through Internet Explorer, clicking on that [Properties] button doesn't do anything. No error or anything. If I press the [Save] in the Adobe Acrobet-embedded Internet Explorer window, it too does nothing. This leads me to think it is an Adobe Acrobat issue. However, I have found nothing in their support forums on this topic.
Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Cannot change or delete local items keychain

Hopefully someone here can help me.
I forgot my main password to get into my MacBook Pro. I'm running Mavericks. I did the restart/holding down option key. I used terminal to get in to change the password. However, the Local Items keychain has remained locked. When I try to delete it from the file menu in Keychain Access, that option is grayed out. I have no idea what the keychain password could be for Local Items. I tried to create a new keychain for Local Items, thinking it would then allow me to delete the old one. That did not work. I tried reboot. I tried rebooting and changing the main password again. The apple technician on help chat told me that rebooting and changing the main password would fix everything, but it didn't.
Now I can't access e-mail. For some reason my Office for Mac programs won't run at all.

Follow these steps to prevent prompts to unlock the Local Items keychain.
In Finder Select Go > Go to folder… (⇧⌘G)
In the window that appears, type the following:~/Library/Keychains/
Click OK.
Look for a folder with a name similar to this "A8F5E7B8-CEC1-4479-A7DF-F23CB076C8B8".
Note: Each folder has a unique number.
Move this folder to the Trash.
Immediately choose Apple Menu () > Restart… to restart your Mac.
After restarting the computer, a new folder is created in the Keychains folder with a name similar to "4B29A0BB-599D-47FC-A2D1-42B5592B130B". There is no need to repeat the steps in this article, or to delete this folder. The new folder is expected and corrects the symptom described in this article.

Cannot change or delete custom structure

Hi,
I created a custom structure via se11, the package is stored in $TMP and it has only 1 field MANDT without component type. When I tried to delete or edit the structure in dev box but it is popping this error message all the time 'You cannot edit object R3TR TABL YFI_00001 with the standard editor Choose 'Display object' or 'Cancel'.'
Any inputs is highly appreciated.

Please be aware that this DDIF function modules are usually internal functions that should not be used by customers directly (except in such emergency situations) because you may cause inconsistencies with them. I am sure if you debug the DELETE function in SE11 you will come across this fm.

when i contol click on the downloads icon in the dock i get the gris view . I thought if you control click, you are able to change the view to fan or list. am I doing something wrong.? Icheck to make sure the contol key is working by doing a screenshot and it works there. What am I doing wrong?

On my ipad2 I connot log into my app store. My email address is not current. I cannot change to my existing email login with itunes.

my email account has changed since i set up my Ipad. How do I change my email account to sign in on the App store? I have changed the address in my itunes, but it will not change on my ipad?

I assume that you updated your existing account as opposed to creating a new one, as content is tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded it ? You should be able to log out of your account by tapping on it in Settings > Store and you can then log in with the updated version.

Time sync visa input with acquired sound data

Hello all!
I'm pretty new to LV, but here goes:
I'm trying to collect data from a balance via VISA read (RS232), and at the same time I acquire sound via the pc sound card. I'm looking for a way to syncronise the time for the two datasets (resolution approx. 0.1 s).
During test (flicking the balance with a small spoon), my results so far indicates a offset by 0.3 s, where the sound spectrum changes before the weight increase. This is not due to any delay from the balance, as it seems to react immidiately.
I would like to be able to use the same reference clock to the two samplesets, but I'm having trouble to understand the way that "Acquire Sound.vi" works regarding recording time data.
Any good ideas for a way forward ?

Can you post your VIs. The thumb rule then asking for help in this forum. Is to post the VIs in question at the same time. Much more easy to get grasp of the problem that way. And most of us will require a VI before we help anyway. The last tip. Never post a picture of the code, as we can not debug a picture
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted

Cannot connect to database (10.2 XE) with old data files

Hi,
I was running my database for a while but a couple weeks back it started failing - as in I can no longer connect to it. I tried moving the datafiles (all files under \oraclexe\oradata\XE ) and reinstalling and that makes everything run again with the default database files but when stop the database and copy my old files back in and restart - presto I can no longer connect either by jdbc or by apex ( 127.0.0.1:8080/apex ). My css log file has this in it after I resttart the database and try to connect to apex:

Visa problem with old instrument

Hallo!
I have a Problem with an old Jobin Yvon HR320 Monochromator which I try to access via VISA. Sadly I have no manual for the instrument. My task is, to convert an old VEE-Programm to Labview 7.0 using an agilent PCI GPIB-card. In VEE the monoc. is initialised with a string "248222 " which returns a B if not initialised yet. This works fine with LV. The next step is to send "O2000" as a string then, in VEE, Write Byte "0" and at last a blank. This should return a character "f". In LV I don´t know how to write the zero as byte. The VEE I/O busmonitor shows that there is a differenc if I write the zero as text or as byte. Maybe someone knows a solution for this problem?

a LabVIEW string is more like a Pascal string, rather than a C string.
To write binary data you should create a string constant or control, right-click on it and choose "'\' Codes Display" or "Hex Display". Now you can enter a null Byte as '\00' or '00' (without the quotes, of course), depending on what type of display mode you have chosen. The first mode ist easier to combine with normal printabel text, whereas the latter is better for binary strings.
NI Spy was installed here in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI Spy\NISpy.exe. It might be a component with higher level versions of LabVIEW, not with the base version.
But if you create probes you could as well debug your app without NISpy.

My old Z22 malfunctioned, so I bought a new one. I would now like to get the data in the Palm software on my
computer (not in Outlook) with my new handheld.
I cannot fine documentation for how to do this, but it must be somewhere, as I am sure I am not the first person to
replace a handheld!

I am having the same problem with my new z22. Have downloaded all info from old cracked screen z22 which I named "old palm" as my user name. I have added one record to my new palm with the stylus. I am trying to get the data that is now on my computer onto my new palm which i have named "new palm". When I connect new palm and press hotsync it says status: identifying user, user: new palm but then asks if i want to set up a new account on this pc giving only options as ok or cancel neither of which seem to help. Have tried lots of ways and different methods but can't work this out. Can you help?

How to realign elements of an array? Working with old Dynamic Data consumers

I've got some code which was written with DAQ assistants years ago. I'm trying to use tasks and arrays for my producer now for speed and efficiency, but I'm stumped on one thing.
The consumers were written to have the data in a certain order - there's even a VI in there that selects certain elements and sends them to specific outputs. I previously took care of this with a simple VI that split the dynamic data, wired them to different order terminals, and then set it back to dynamic; Screenshot attached.
Is there a structure like this for array where you can break out all the array elements, reorder them and insert constants, and then put them back into the array? What this ends up feeding is a subvi that's an array builder which converts the DD to array and then reroutes it. Seems almost like what I'm trying to do could be done there, but it's a bit confusing to me.

Hi Ralph@NES,
One thing I have done before for this is create a mapping array and a for loop to reorder the elements in your data array. Take a look at the example VI I've attached. If you know exactly where you want everything, you just need to go into the mapping array and set the index destination for the corresponding data. Hope this helps.
