Cannot click in Subject in webmail
We are using GoDaddy Webmail within Mozilla v. 17.0.1. Yesterday we were unable to access the Subject line in Webmail when we are in the Compose Email box. We can tab to it but we cannot click in it as before. I have been on the phone twice today with GoDaddy support and they think it is Mozilla plugin that needs to be updated. I have updated everything I can find to update within the plugins but nothing works. Is anyone else having this problem? This issue does not occur in IE.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.

To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

When navigating the internet, if I come across a web page that has a link to open a picture or program in a new window, if I click on it, it does not open. Firefox immediately looses functionality in that I cannot open a new tab with the mouse wheel, right click to open a new tab, or use my bookmarks in either the drop down or toolbar to navigate away. I can usually still navigate the page that I am on, for example, (https://loanconsolidation.ed.gov/AppEntry/apply-online/appindex.jsp), when it freezes I cannot click on any of the content at the center of the page but I can still use the links from the list on the far left. For an example of the pictures, (http://www.insect-sale.com/), if you click on "New Arrivals" at the top of the page it takes you to a list of products that can only be viewed by clicking on them. Usually a picture of the item would open in a small window but it does not and Firefox freezes. This has also happen when I try a view a degree audit on a school's website where a program would usually open in a new window. The only thing I have been able to find that still functions properly when this happens is the home page button. I can click on it or use the wheel to open it in a tab just fine, but if I try and go anywhere else I cannot. The only way I can get Firefox back to normal is to use the Task Manager and end the process. Another thing I have noticed, that may or may not be related; is that my Norton Internet Security toolbar, that should show up below the bookmarks toolbar and above the tabs, only shows up about 1 out of every 10 times I open Firefox. Some days it doesn't show up at all. If it does show up and I log into Identity Safe, the autofill for the programed website works, even if the toolbar doesn't show up the next time I open Firefox.
Go to Tools->Options->Apps
Here you should see two columns: Content Type on the left, Actions on the right.
Find and select excel spreadsheet or any other content type in the left column. There should be a corresponding action in the right column. What is it? You can use the drop-down list to select the option you want:
Always Ask - Firefox will ask each time: What do you want to do with this file?
Save file - Firefox will save this file to your computer
Use - Firefox will give this file to the program to open it
In case of saving, Firefox will either prompt you every time where you want the file to be saved, or save it to the default location. It depends on the preference in

I am getting frequent lock-ups and blue screens during boot up on my Mac Pro. The lock- ups occur sometimes during normal use and I cannot click anything or force quit. The cursor shows something is loading, but never stops. I have to use power button.

I am not able to access my photos through the photo application... when I click on the photo app, I can see the camera roll, but a transparent "album" screen is over it and I cannot click on the photos to see it... can any one please help ???
Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

Cannot click or interact with a certain part of my screen in most apps
This is a weird one that's stumping me. Since probably Tuesday or Wednesday, I've had trouble clicking on certain portions of the screen on my MacBook. I noticed it first in Safari, and I thought that it was just a Safari problem, but now I realize it applies to the whole OS.
When I am in an app, I cannot click on anything or scroll when my mouse is on a certain portion of the screen. The weirdest part to me is that this portion of the screen is standard for every app. It's probably about the middle 50 or 60 percent of my screen in the lower third portion. Imagine cutting my MacBook screen into a Tic-Tac-Toe board... the lower middle box is where I'm having trouble.
This seems to apply to most apps, but for example in iTunes I can still click on items in this portion of the screen but only about every third click will it be responsive. With Safari and Finder and most other apps, I get nothing at all. It's not my mouse itself because it does the same thing if I'm using my Mighty Mouse or my Logitech mouse or just my trackpad. Also, if I navigate using the keyboard, I can interact with that portion of the screen just fine.
I can't recall installing or removing or changing anything significant within the past week that could have caused this, though it's entirely possible. I'm pretty good with my Mac on most things, but as I said, this one is stumping me and I can't find any similar issues by searching.
Thanks in advance for any help.Got the exact same problem aswell, finally fed up with it now as i just started up firefox and 14 new windows opened because of this bug, luckily my computer can handle them but someone with a slower processor it would have been a nightmare, needs fixing ASAP.

I have looked at various help topics but nothing is working; I have not deleted my history lately and nothing in my preferences is checked to do so automatically. I also tried deleting 'sessionstore.js' but that didn't help either. Firefox acknowledges that there are other tabs open by making them pop a little when my mouse goes over them, and as I said I can still close tabs that are not currently displayed, but I cannot click on them to bring them up.

Cannot click radio buttons after Windows Updates
Hello,
We approved the following Office updates back in December and since then, our users cannot click radio buttons in Word documents. This month, we pushed all updates stated in the following article:

We've also removed .exd files from users' computers and this still hasn't resolve our issue. This is critical for us as we use these documents across the entire organization. Please help!
I've tested this both on Office 2013 click-to-run and Office 2010 with the same results. 2013 is the latest version and I've deleted .exd for this as well, using Fix It, script and manually.

Where in god’s name is the homesharing button, I see a little cloud that you cannot click on and tells you what account you have but that's it. There's an option for turning on and off homesharing, but no button to access the actual library of the other PC. On either PCs. Both are logged in and both are registered for homesharing. however because apple keeps updating and moving things around for no reason there appears to be no way of accessing the homsharing button in the latest version of itunes. the website refers to " Once set up, all the libraries from your computers you've enabled Home Sharing on will show up in the SHARED area of iTunes:" well I have searched all over in the recent itunes versions and there is no "shared area" to be found.

I cannot click certain things on firefox and don't know how to fix it.
Okay so this problem started today. I know nothing about computers so a detailed response would be really helpful. When I go on any website, I can't click certain things. For example, on Facebook, I cannot click to update my status and I cannot click anything in the top blue bar. Nothing is blocking them, my cursor just won't click them. I can't download music from sites or do anything that I want to do. I am not sure if it is Firefox or if it is just my computer, because a couple days ago my cursor wasn't working at all unless I plugged a computer mouse into my laptop. I really don't want to download another browser, so I wanted to check here for some solutions. Do you think it is a hardware program? If so is it an easy fix? Thanks!
That problem can be caused by an extension like the Yahoo! Toolbar or a Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

While using a drop-down menu i.e. File, edit, image, or even when saving as and choosing the file type; the list appears and I am able to highlight what i want but cannot click on anything. This is becoming incredibly frustrating. It happens at random time and a restart of the computer is all that helps, then with out any notice it starts to do this again. Mac Book Pro i7 2.2 16 GB 1333 Ram, (2) 450GB SSD both internal to machine. At this point I am losing file because I am unable to save in the file type I need. Does anyone out there know how to solve this issue?

philI haven't been unify photoshop much in the past month, but I did try your suggestion and it seemed to work for a while. Today when i went to save a document the same thing happened: click on file>save at this point I can not click on save even though it is highlighted. Tryed to use command s that brings up the save dialogue box, but when I try to change file type I again cannot select it from the drop down menu.

after upgrading my iphone ios from 5.1.1 to 6.0 wverythings seems to work fine.
until today i was using my wi-fi network to download an application and suddenly wi-fi tirned off and when i went to the settings i cannot click on (on/off) wi-fi)

i searched the web for answers but all answers took me to a dead end.
now i am stuck with iphone 4s with no wi-fi which is worth nothing.
a normal nokia with wi-fi is much better.

My mouse function of the trackpad is no longer registering clicks. The trackpad seems to be normal as I can scroll the arrow around as normal, but I cannot click on anything. I hooked up a logitech usb wireless mouse, and it works fine, so I am assuming it is a hardware problem. Are there any simple solutions, or will I need to replace the trackpad? Thank you very much.Conclusion: I had an unresponsive trackpad key in addition to other strange user-interface issues. Although I did several things before solving the problem, it may well be that using the installation disk to run disk repair was the essential cure.
Detailed history: On 3/2/12 I set off for work with my Macbook Air (first generation) in closed-cover sleep mode. When I opened it and tried to select a menu item, I notice that the mouse-point draws rectangular regions on the desktop. Moreover, though I am able to open menus, I could not select menu items because the click key (on the first generation MBA's they still have trackpad keys) does not work. At this time, I recall that even attaching a mouse did not seem to work. Since I was at work I used another computer to go onto the internet print out Apple's shortcut-key dictionary (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1343) that allowed me to navigate and select things without my trackpad. Particularly helpful were the following shortcut keys:
'Control-Function-F2' --selects the Finder menu
'Tab' --allows you to hop to the adjacent menu header
'option-o' --opens selected items
'option-w' --closes an open window
This mouse-less navigation was critical for being able to use the internet when I went home from the office. I then began a little online research about my problem. I found nothing that seemed to fit my particular symptom, although I did glean the usual prescriptive advice about safe-mode startup, disk repair, and resetting the PRAM (see http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417). Note that I did each of these without consulting the official procedure in the forgoing link.
Without mouse-like navigation, I was unable to run the disk repair from the disk utility because the navigation shortcut keys don't provide a way to select certain unsupported items in the application window that are critical. I did manage to run a disk repair from the command line at startup using the 'fsck -fy' technique described in the apple support doc (see above). This probably enabled a mouse to now work where it wouldn't before--though I can't be sure--for the next day, I took my laptop into the Apple service desk and the technician hooks a mouse up and to my surprise it works though the trackpad is still ineffective. I even reinstall Snow Leopard which takes several hours. None of the forgoing techniques seems to help (except, perhaps the 'fsck -fy' procedure).
So, as mentioned, I take my laptop to the Genius bar to have it looked at. Since the technician had to remove the mouse to insert his testing gear (my MBA has only one USB port) and could not select anything on the apps windows, he concludes it's a mechanical problem. This was after I suggested that he hook up some sort of USB hub to provide the two ports needed to hook up both a mouse and his test equipment--but what do I know. Unfortunately, I passively listen as he describes that the replacement cost will be $180 for a new top panel with trackpad. Or I could just buy a new mouse for $50. I almost sprung for the panel replacement, but thought I might first do a little research online or just try to get by using a mouse from now on. When I got home, I thought it might be good to now run the disk repair, now that I could use a mouse to select the critical buttons needed to initiate the repair. This apparently did some good, as I now found the trackpad more responsive, though still behaving weird. I then proceeded to update my re-installation of Snow Leopard by initiating the Software update mechanism. This required a very large package for my slow DSL internet connection to handle, so I left my computer on overnight to complete this download. Upon startup, the trackpad key was able to select menu items, however when I selected a file, the file icon would stick to the pointer icon. Not good. What else could I do? I decided to run the disk utility one more time. When I did, some serious errors were spotted and I was told to restart the computer using the original installation disk and choose the disk repair utility from the startup disk. The repairs took place and it showed that the repair was successful. When I rebooted from the hard-drive the trackpad key works perfectly! In hindsight, although I did several things before solving the problem, it may well be that using the installation disk to run disk repair was the essential cure. I will certainly do that first next time I find the trackpad key unresponsive. -
Cannot click on certain area of the screen
I'm not sure if this is a display or a mouse issue. I have had my 24" iMac since June and have just started having this issue. I cannot click (left or right mouse button) on one specific part of the screen. I can click on links and buttons, form boxes, bring up the contextual menu (right click) or do pretty much anything you do with the mouse on most of the screen. However in this approximately half inch high and a few inches long area just above the middle of the screen on the left hand side there is no response from computer when clicking with the mouse. I can click on a link in the browser above this space and below it but not on the link in it. If I move the browser window so that same link appears in a different part of the screen I can click on it fine and cannot click on the link now in the affected area.
This is the same for any clickable item placed in this area of the screen. Is this a display or a mouse issue?If you have an external drive that can be erased, you could try installing a new system there and setting the Mac to boot from it. That will determine if it is related to the current system installation, or if it is more likely to be a hardware problem. You can obviously also back up your data, erase your internal drive, and reinstall a new system there.
Alternately, as a test, you can just startup from your Mac OS X installation disc. At the first installer screen, go up to the menu bar. Under Utilities, run Disk Utility. Move the Disk Utility window around the screen as needed to see of the same problem exists while booted from a different system. If it happens there, then it is more likely to be some odd hardware-related issue. If it does not, it is possible a fresh system installation will resolve the problem. -
I accidentally installed a toolbar i do not want. i think i successfully uninstalled it, but after it was installed, when i go into the facebook app, there is a strip across the top of the facebook page on which i cannot click on to . this strip includes my spot on which i click on to my wall or homepage in facebook. if i move the page down far enough, i can click on other things, but never can i get far enough down to click on these tabs. this only happens in firefox, which i prefer wayyy over google chrome for gaming. do i need to delete firefox and reinstall? please help!
Recently, the Yahoo Toolbar and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause that problem. They seem to overlap invisibly over the top of the web page display. If you have either or both, uninstall or disable them/it, or see if an update is available that solves the problem.

Cannot click on sub-menus and notification prompts in Mircosoft Exchange when using Firefox.
When I access Microsoft Exchange web app from Firefox I've can no longer click on pop-up sub-menus and notifications that I could previous use.
For example, when I go to empty my deleted items folder and select empty folder, I get this notification (menu 1) that I now cannot click on. All I can do is just hit 'enter' to close the menus without actually making a yes/no input.
Similarly, when i go to move folders and get this pop-up menu (menu 2), I cannot make any selection, and the 'enter' to close method does not work. All I can do then is close the page.
I have tried disabling firefox's pop-up blocker but that did not rectify the issue. I can still use the sub-menus in other web browsers so this is a firefox specific problem.
Any help in identifying the cause and remedying this would be greatly appreciated.Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
