Cannot click on settings and global settings in dialogue box

Google chrome updated to new flash player 10.3.184.14 now when I right click flash screen and get the dialogue box and click on settings or global settings nothing happens.. but if I refresh game or page sometimes or intermittently I do get the local settings box, but only once.. when it goes away I have to refresh page. and sometime it works sometimes not.. the same happens with the global settings.... I looked for Flash player in my control panel, but was not there.. I switched over to IE-8 and downloaded version 10.3.xxx.xx now have it in my control panel.. If I play games or view flash content in IE. I can right click screen and can always click settings or global settings and it works each time, no matter how many times I do it,, but in Google Chrome it does not... Am I doing something wrong, do I need to import from other browsers in GC why cant I access settings and global settings after right clicking flash screen in Google Chrome?????

In addition to Security updates in this 10.3.181.14, there is included a Flash Settings Panel Manager.
Users now have a simpler way to clear local storage from the browser settings interface – similar to how users clear their browser cookies today. Flash Player 10.3 integrates control of local storage with the browser’s privacy settings in Mozilla Firefox 4, Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and higher, Google Chrome 11 (Available in Chrome Dev Channel), and a future release of Apple Safari.
When you open the Flash Player icon from the Control Panel, be sure to check each Tab (Storage, etc)
Also under the tab Storage you will find the info on Private Browsing, so be sure to read this info in case you use that.
My understanding of this new feature with Flash Player vs 10.3.181.14 can be used with the above listed browser versions.

You can click on accept or buy ,which ever option you see on that dialog box.It will prompt you to type in your Adobe Credentials.You can license it by doing the same.
If it still doesn't work ,follow these steps and see how it goes .
Delete all the files from following folders:
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLStore
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/SLCache
And, delete all files from following folder except cache.db
[Home]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AdobePCD
Then launch Acrobat and try to activate and check.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...

2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)

3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Do they launch OK while in Safe Mode?

Warp tool palette: independent settings in dialogue box

I use the warp tools a lot CS4, especially warp and twirl, I find its a great way to smooth edges, round them, and with little flicks even simplify anchor point count. I go between these two tools a lot back and forth, but using a different brush size for each, and different intensity setting.
Is slow to have to hit "enter" and resize the intensity each time when going between these brushes, aswell as resize the brush to the exact size and shape (with alt) everytime I switch between them,
can we look at individual independent settings for each,
so if I set intensity for warp tool (enter) dialogue box, it is seperate to the settings I make for the twirl tool dialogue box and pucker, bloat, scallop ...
aswell as the brush size setting for each, I generally use the warp tool larger size 40% intensity, but the twirl tool smaller at 2 to 5% intensity, so having to change them everytime I switch as I`m modelling my splines slows me down.
A couple of other unrelated things:
The stroke size is something I like to tweak a lot as i`m laying out curves and twirls for strokes, I like how I can "slide" the brush size and opacity in photoshop and work on the fly, I know thats pixels, but in AI top left where the word "stroke" dialogue pops up on the control panel, if I could hover over and "slide" that as in PS instead of having to - click it and have a diologue box with another drop down list to choose stroke size, that would be quicker, and if I could see the feedback in realtime with the stroke slider, even say selecting several strokes first, then sliding the size and seeing dynamic feedback would be helpful in adjustments, as stroke size is a constant adjustment for me, with organic drawings of figures and faces, animals, its something that requires a lot of adjustments in stroke thickness to see different results, and is so important to work fast with changing stroke size.
Output multiple artboards, and or Layers to one PDF. I often have many different versions of a design on different layers, one layer on another, and want to output to a single PDF for client approval, so I don`t have to save out each layer manually to a new pdf or jpeg.. just do it in one go.

Persistent and pestering Apple ID dialogue box

Starting only two weeks ago, almost every time I pick up my iPhone 4 I am interrupted by an unwanted dialogue box asking me to type in my Apple ID password again. My iPad, running the same iOS, does not do this. It is most irritating, any ideas?

First Sign Out of your Account... Settings > Store > Apple ID
Then Close all open Apps and perform a Restart and a Reset of your iPhone...

IPhoto freezes on startup and unable to use dialogue box.

Hi,
I just upgraded my Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. I also updated my iphoto to the latest version (not sure how to check the current version but its the latest one as per app store today).
Now when I load my iphoto I get the spinning icon in the middle as well as the Dialogue box asking me if I want to update the Library, however the options are frozen and nothing happens when I click on the buttons. I've left this for a few hours with no result.
I've tried holding down the option button on startup but the dialogue box with the new options are frozen.
Any ideas?

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

I had a Javascript 'alert' box appear on a page I am developing, and clicked on the tickbox to hide further dialogue boxes from that page. Now I want to see the alert boxes again, but I can't find a way to make them appear. Please can anyone advise?

Command S works inconsistently and displays no warning dialogue box when closing

I am having a very strange issue with Photoshop CS6 - OSX 10.7 and 10.8 (recently upgraded).
I havent been able to figure out how to reproduce this bug though it happens all the time every day while i work.
I work on a file maybe for 10 minutes to 1 hour and when I save a file with command s photoshop does nothing. it will not save until i make any change that registers in the history and then it does save.
Even weirder photohop will close the file as though it had been saved giving no warning box with the "file has been changed, would you like to save?" message.
This has lead to me constantly saving things and double checking if files are saved, it has also lead to me missing a file from time to time and having to redo hour of work. This is a huge and odd issue for me.
The issue started happening when I recently reformatted and reinstalled all my software.
Has anyone ever encountered this issue? Do i have some strange combo of settings on that make this happen? I am at a loss and maybe a little blind to the real issue.

any chance maybe Photoshop was in the middle of an auto-save when you initated the save. Have you tried leaving it alone for a while after pressing command-S and see if it ultimately saves?
I don't know whether an auto-save can get in the way of a real save - maybe not. In my case I've never seen what you're describing, and I have auto-save set for every 5 minutes.

When I click onto Apps in the Creative Cloud Dialogue box, nothing comes up.

I've downloaded the Creative Cloud Installer and I click onto it but nothing comes up in the Apps so I Can't install Indesign.

I cannot open add ons without an unresponsive script dialogue box appearing which stops the browser running.

I tried to open Add ons from the Tools tab on the main menu. I end up with a script error which appears repeatedly no matter whether I "continue" or "stop script" button.
When I click error console I end up with numerous lines of errors and warnings.
Should I uninstall and re-install to fix this problem?

I ended up having to uninstall it, except I had to remove all my personal details stuff too, because having tried to re-install with my preferences on the system just continued the problem. It was a bummer because I lost all my bookmarks.
In fact I'm noticing Mozilla is becoming dysfunctional on all my computers and it's annoying when it crashes as only task manager can close it down. All these problems appeared out of no where in the last few weeks.
Anyway I've had enough. I'm too busy to try and make sense of all the stuff on the help pages. I'm uninstalling for good this time.

Problem with inconsistent print dialogue box/Aperture and Elements?

I just purchased an Epson r1900. In Aperture everything is great! I can pull up icc profiles and the new print dialogue box features all the epson papers (glossy, Matte, Art, CD) in menus with submenus. But in Photoshop Elements 6, I get an old dialogue box which only shows the old Epson papers-Photo. Photo glossy, matte. There is no way, for instance, to choose Velvet art-and that is what I am using. It is driving me nuts. I have thrown out preferences, updated drivers, updated applications, fixed permissions...you name it. same thing in Apple Pages. Why am I not seeing the same dialogue box? Is this not OS controlled? The R1900 is always chosen. ( I do have an older printer as well, but definitely not selected.

I have the same problem since I installed Snow Leopard. I have upgraded to the newest canon driver for my Canon Pixma IP5200 printer. Calibrating seems to no longer have a reliable impact on my prints. Also Aperture under SL will not save my preset information for media type, paper source or print quality in the print settings.
I am assuming this is a bug related to SL and hopefully will be addressed soon... It is very frustrating as I have waisted a lot of time ink and photo paper in the days since I have moved up to SL

Try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
