Cannot complete iTunes profile

I have an Apple account, but when I try to use iTunes to access the Store, I get this message:
This Apple ID has not been used with the iTunes Store.
Please review your account information
I get to the part where it asks about my county (because my county charges tax I guess) and when I click on "Next" it comes up and says there was a technical difficulty and to try again later. I have been trying for over 3 weeks now, on and off, but same message is displayed. There is no code to it.
Can someone assist me?

Hi,
I've got nearly the same problem.
But after the error message I have to create my iTunes store account again (and again...)
Then I choose my way of paying "Click and Buy" (again and again and...)
Finally I get the message:
One Moment Please. Connecting to the iTunes Store.
Loading
We are unable to find iTunes on your computer.
If iTunes doesn't open, click the iTunes application icon in your Dock or Windows Task Bar."
The same time I get the security message "This page contains secure and unsecure contents. Do you want to show unsecure objects?"
Clicking on "yes", the page returns (again and ...)
Clicking on "no", I see the iTunes error message forever
Is there some help possible?

  • "Cannot complete iTunes store request..." error solved

As posted elsewhere here, repeated clicking between "iPhone" and any other header such as "Music" or "Playlists" in the iTunes browser has solved this error message:
"Cannot complete iTunes store request - network connection was reset. Make sure your connection is active and try again."
After about 45 minutes I got the message: "Restoring iPhone from backup"
It is now sloowwly restoring my original iPhone (No usb 2.0 on the old PowerBook G4 400)
Hammered Apple servers = tried patience. Keep trying!

I don't know if this will help you guys, but it worked for me...
I've been having the exact same problem since upgrading to iTunes 9. Installed the recent update to 9.0.1.8 with no change--still no icons when the Store comes up, long vertical layout, 306 error when clicking on anything.
I'm on an older Windows box with XP installed, Safari 4.0.3, iTunes 9.0.1.8. I use Firefox for the web. Though it WAS installed, I had never used Safari on this machine. Went to take a look at Safari and see if there was anything wrong.
I found that Safari was NOT set up properly to get through my Firewall--again, I had never used it before. As soon as I got the internet settings right in Safari and made sure it could get to the web properly, I re-launched iTunes and lo and behold the Store worked properly. This was NOT a problem with iTunes 8. Apparently everything with Safari needs to be kosher before the iTunes 9 Store will work.
Maybe you all have done this already, but it immediately solved the problem for me. Hope this helps someone.

  • Cannot completed itunes download (network error)

Hi. I have try download itunes 11.01 for 4 times already but as the download nearly complete (83.1/83.1 mb), suddenly it cannot completed its download and it appears that it has network error. What should i do?

    Okay.
Perhaps try downloading and saving a copy of the installer to a different PC. (If you're on a 32-bit Windows system, try to download on a different 32-bit Windows system.) Copy the iTunesSetup.exe installer to an external hard-drive, or a large-enough thumb drive or burn it to a CD-R. Carry the installer back to your PC, copy the installer to your hard drive. (Don't run the install from the ExHD, thumb or CD-R.) Start the install by doubleclicking the iTunesSetup.exe file.

  • Cannot complete iTunes account registration.. Good grief..

So I bought a new iPod touch from the US military post exchange in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
I have been trying like crazy to create an account with iTunes so that I can access the store, but nothing doing! I successfully created an Apple user ID, but when I try to use that to log in to iTunes, it says that the ID has not yet been used in the iTunes store and that I need to review my account.
OK, fine. I go to select my payment method, enter my VALID credit card information and billing address, and I am now told that I need to contact iTunes support to complete this transaction.
I am assuming that this is because iTunes can recognize that I am logged onto the internet from a foreign country, yet I am trying to register for an account using my address in the United States. If this is the case, is there a chance that even iTunes support won't even be able to help me with this problem?
From what I have read elsewhere, iTunes support isn't all that...supportive.
I mean good lord, I would be happy enough just to get on and access the free apps, but there is no option available for iTunes store access without first registering with a credit card. I tried using my valid PayPal account but I got the same results. After my PayPal account was verified, it still asks me for a billing address. I assume this is where the discrepancy is.
So has anyone had a similar problem and already find a solution? Or did I just spend over $200 of my hard earned money on a product that promises much, but now provides me with a very limited use?
    Thanks.

  • Cannot complete itunes card transaction

I tried to purchase an iTunes card to send to my niece and it told me that it couldn't complete the transaction and to contact Apple support. Of course, it doesn't help that it doesn't tell you how to contact support except through email and they will (might?) reply in 48 hours to an email request.

  • Please help - cannot complete itunes 6 installation

    Here's my deal:
I have Windows 2000, service pack 4 on an IBM T22, with plenty of hard disk space left and I have had the older version of iTunes (5 i guess) on my computer since I upgraded about a year ago (got iTunes a little over a year ago with my mini iPod). I had trouble then, but somehow got it to work, until now, when I was prompted to upgrade (could not download music otherwise), so I tried to do that, but it failed. One of two things happens: either I get a message that says 1628: Failure to complete installation, OR it just stops installing and I get a box in the minimize bar at the bottom of my desktop that appears to be a dialogue box for QuickTime and iTunes, but that, when clicked on, does not appear (maximize) on my screen. I have now uninstalled QuickTime, iTunes, and my setup.exe, and have tried reinstalling, but the same two things keep happening. I fear that I have lost the ability to install, since the setup.exe is now gone from my desktop. Also, I already tried the suggestions about the 1628 error provided by apple (clearing temp files etc.) and nothing seems to help.
Please help me! I don't have a clue about what to do and am very very frustrated.

    hi Kelsey!
It seems to hiccup right in the middle of the box that says "preparing InstallShield Wizard, which will guide you through the setup process / preparing to install" portion...and then it just stops.
gaah. okay, first check to make sure your Windows Installer engine is up to date:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
    then let's try this again
b with all background applications switched off:
    http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108379
antivirus, antispyware, Cygwin and various other applications have been implicated with these hangs ... so i reckon it's safest to try to switch all of 'em off prior to the install.
    keep us posted.
    love, b

  • I am receiving a -42110 error cannot complete iTunes request - cannot DL movies now

Ever since I moved from MobileMe to iCloud, I cannot rent and download movies.
    Books, Music no problem.
    The error is -42110
I get all the way through the download, takes as long as normal and then I get the message.  No resolution or help offered.
Does anyone know why this is?
Could it be related to a conflict between an iCloud id and a MobileMe identity?
    Please help, thanks.

I changed my passwords (Twice) and still the same message "FATAL=Unable to process your request.  Please try again."
I was using my Apple Devices earlier today (Apple TV, Phone), accessing my info through the cloud without any problem.  Notice problem when me and my girlfriend sat down at 11PM to watch a movie that I rented yesterday.  I try other movies that I own, music, TV Shows on both Apple TV AND computer... HBOGO and Netflix apps on the Apple TV are working fine, so it must be something with the store.

I am using a 2003 eMac and am running on Mac OSX  vs 10.4.11. I amrunning iTunes 8.2.1 (6) and not able to upgrade iTunes on this computer. iTunes is not recognizing music I have purchased and when I try to connect when it request me to I get the following error message:

    Please help.

Is this music purchased back in DRM days? I don't actually have any iTunes music so I can't test with my iTunes 7.5, but I know that without iTunes 10 you cannot even connect to the store anymore.  I wouldn't think that would require an active connection to the store all the time, otherwise how could you play music on a computer in the middle of nowhere?  Did you do something to trigger iTunes suddenly wanting to connect and check on machine authorization?

I am getting the error "We're sorry we cannot complete your request on the iTunes store at this time. Please try again later." on both my iPhone and iTunes on my computer. What is wrong with iTunes? Is the server down or what? I need to download some things and update some apps...

I've been getting the same message for like an hour now.  Since everything was working fine a few hours ago, and nothing changed on my end before it stopped working, I'm guessing it's something on Apple's end.  They probably already know about it by now, and are hopefully working on fixing it, so there's probably not much we can do but wait for them to fix it.

  • We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the iTunes store at this time.

"We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the iTunes store at this time." http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/7452/screenshot20110601at608.png <- what gives? One moment I'm downloading an iTunes movie rental and a bunch of music, the next second every completed download, attempted new purcase, and trying to start playing the partially downloaded movie resulted in this error.
I paused the downloads and restarted iTunes. Downloads and Rentals were gone in the sidebar and every single secure request to the iTunes store (trying to login, trying to check for available downloads, trying to buy anything else) results in this error. However the music that had sucessfully downloaded was present in my iTunes library. However nothing new shows in my 'Recently Added' playlist... weird.
I then tried restarting my router, ADSL modem, and my Mac. No good. I tried a different OSX user account. No good. I tried logging into the UK store (I'm usually in the NZ one) where I also have an account - no good, same error.
iTunes store pages load, but anything secure results in this error :-(
What has happened? One second all is well, the next all secure iTunes connections result in "We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the iTunes store at this time."

I always try to download movies and TV shows in advance, although this is the first time in quite a while that I've had problems with it on Apple's end -- normally I'm just worried about my internet flaking out, which was happening pretty regularly for a while, or just slowing down way too much and taking hours to download anything.  It's a good approach when you can manage it as it eliminates the risk of this sort of thing messing up your whole night.  If you still have enough movie night left tonight though, you could try renting something from Amazon.  It's streaming rather than download, so it's vulnerable to inconsistencies in internet speed, and it tends not to be as good quality as iTunes video (at least in my experience), but at least you might still be able to get a movie in tonight.

  • HT1766 I cannot complete my iphone configuration after sofware update, when i connect to itunes i keep gettin  a try again later message

I cannot complete my iphone configuration after sofware update, when i connect to itunes i keep gettin  a try again later message

That's usually a sign that your phone was hacked/jailbroken, and iTunes has detected such, errored out, preventing your phone from activating. Since Apple does not support hacking/jailbreaking, that's what happens, by design.
We can't help you here, as Apple owns this forum. You'll have to go elsewhere.
