Cannot Configure Gmail on 9720

I have been trying to configure Gmail on my 9720 for a week now but to no avail. I have enabled the IMAP on gmail settings, but my phone keeps asking me to validate the email password again and again. After verifying the same, I get an email in 2 minutes to verify it again.
Can someone help me?

Hi @amitsubba! John_Clark is right, you should use an App password/permission for your BlackBerry so you can finally access your Gmail account. Google will provide you with a specific password (16 characters) that you can use on your BlackBerry to setup your email. Here's how:Sign in using App Passwords

Basically you make sure you iTunes is up to date. Then you plug your iPad in, open iTunes, click on the name of your device. THen I'd do a backup. Then download and install the update (you'll see a update button in iTunes)

Cannot setup gmail on 9700

When I configured gmail account, it says I entered wrong address or password but I had verified on gmail website that it is correct.

it seemed that gmail's security blocked access from blackberry since access location cannot be detected (unknown coming from blackberry.com). So I acknowledged it and was successful.

I cannot access gmail from any opiton, web address, or tool bar. it gives an error of cannot find root? other pages from the tool bar work ie, utube, or g +..............I have checked my cookies and all are accepted. I have alike problem: I can access my account on Google+ or YouTube but when I try access GMail or Calendar I see error message about invalid redirect to https://accounts.google.com/CookieMismatch ("server redirects to this address in such way that request will never complete") with comment that this error usually occures when cookies are disabled. But I see that cookies are enabled in FireFox Setup. What's wrong?

If you are using cable and a Nethear router sounds like from the information you provide before your Airport setting are setup improperly. PPoE is not something a cable service would need to work. Fallow the steps I will provide bellow, I will add some screen shots also to assist if necessary.
1 - Open System Preferences from  (Menu)
2 - Click "Network"
3 - From the Network window you are going to wanna make sure Location is : Automatic and Show is : Airport
4 - Once the Show: Airport is select you should see a window like this, my window is selected for Ethernet simply because I am no longer running Tiger but the window will look the same.
5 - You will want to click on the PPPoE tab and you should see this
6 - You're gonna wanna make sure " connection using PPPoE " is not select, if it is make sure to uncheck this option
7 - Once this is uncheck make sure to click "Apply Now"
8 - You will want to click back on to the "TCP/IP" tab and make sure IPv4 is set to " Using DHCP "
9 - If the option to " Apply Now" is available again please click this
10 - Once this is done go to your Aiport Menu and see if your network is listed and select your network and eneter the password if necessary.
11 - If after these steps you still have issues I would recommend Power Cylcing your Router and Modem for about 5 minutes
12 - Make sure all lights are off when unplugging the Router and the Modem
13 - Some Modems have backup batterys so you may have to push in a tiny button on the back with a pin

I cannot add Gmail to Apple Mail in Mavericks. I have tried adding it as a Google account AND as an "other" account. I have tried manually filling in the settings, using the instructions from Gmail's website:
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - Requires SSL
imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Requires SSL:Yes
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - Requires TLS
smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465 or 587
Requires SSL: Yes
Requires authentication: Yes
Use same settings as incoming mail server
I have tried with both part 465 and prt 587 for the outgoing mail server. Still, it tells me, "There was a problem setting up the account."

Since I disabled features in the people widget, I cannot access gmail

Emails from this sender always come in to me as:

That is usually an indication that some JavaScript aren't working properly on the Gmail site.

Cannot configure home sync

I have a couple of portable machines on which users with mobile accounts are installed. On some of the machines I see that I cannot configure home sync. The button in the system preferences:Accounts is dimmed all the time.

Here's what I did.
In workgroup manager you configure the Mobility Preferences for the particular User. Then you must also create a computer list for the portable machines which will be using PHD and set their mobility preferences to allow PHD syncing and check "Merge with user's settings".
That's what I did and it works. Hopefully that's the way it is supposed to be done.
