Cannot connect Mobile Device

I using WRT54G v2.2 Fimware 4.21.1 but connect all mobile device link PPC or IPhone . Also i not have any firewall config and i am sure the golekey is correct.

If we take the error message at face value, you've got a damaged Apple Mobile Device Support program file there, carmelle.
Let's try something relatively simple first. Restart the PC. Now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select Apple Mobile Device Support, and click "Repair".
Does that fix up the error message for you?

  • Canopus 110 and the dreaded "Cannot connect to device"  msg

I am using Premiere Elements 2.0 with the Canopus 110 to make copies of my HI-8 and Beta tapes, and getting increasingly frustrated with the way PE 2 drops my temporary file and forces me to start the whole copy over again from the beginning every time I get the "Cannot connect to device" error. It occurred to me that maybe later versions of PE have fixed this problem. It seems simple enough -- when I press 'Stop Capture' the temporary file instantly becomes permanent, so why not when I get a momentary interruption in the signal? It would be worth $100 to me to upgrade to PE 6 or 7 or whatever the latest version is.
So, my question is directed toward others who are plagued by this irritating message: Do the later versions of PE 'save' what has already been recorded?
    Thanks!

'Stop capture on dropped frames' was already turned off. You gave me an idea, however. I will turn it ON and see if that solves my problem (if Capture must be aborted, I want PE2 to save what has already been captured).
I had not heard of WinDV and was quite impressed. Only a 38K download, and it works right out of the box! Now to try recording and see what it does when the connection is interrupted.
Two good ideas -- thanks, both of you!

Selecting mobile device is totally impossible because some failing CSS, javascript, or whatever browser dependent thing. Please check atatchment for more details. I can select mobile type from the left, but cannot scroll right to select my phone. Arrow keys, TAB key, .. no help. It works wit Internet Explorer, because Nokia has obviously tested it with IE only. Please fix this.

  • Connect mobile device to SP2013?

    Hello Community
You can connect a mobile device to a SharePoint 2013 Server farm
like a Windows phone or IPAD but how and what is the difference between
a Windows phone and any other kind of smart phone?
        Thank you
        Shabeaut

No.  It means that most smart phones have browsers that are capable of accessing a SharePoint based web site just like any other web site.  There may be some differences between say IE on a Windows phone and Safari on an iPhone.  But SharePoint
is a web based product.  You can access a SharePoint site using just a web browser if the SharePoint server is available on a network that the smart phone can reach.  But that has nothing to do with a specific smart phone, a USB connection, or Windows
    8.

  • HT4623 what do you do when iTunes cannot connect to device

I keep getting the message that itunes cannot connect to my device when I try to sync up my ipad to my imac.  This even happens when I am directly connected to the imac.
    any suggestions?

I made the mistake of renaming my iPad between synchs and it got the error "iTunes could not connect to this iPad. Could not save the pairing record."  Renamed it back to what it was before, which was just iPad and was able to clear the error.
I realize your post is from a while back, but I believe we are going to start seeing this problem again.

  • Bluetooth problem - Cannot Connect to Device that is not copyright protected SCMS-T Method

I have a Qosmio X875-5280 which has a bluetooth adapter. I also have a bluetooth device which is an adapter for a Bose Sounddock such that the device allows the Sounddock to receive the bluetooth audio stream from the laptop -- at least that is how it worked until recently. Diagnostics show that both the bluetooth adapter and the bluetooth device are working. When trying to connect to the device, I now get "connection failed" message or the message "You cannot connect to a device that is not copyright protected by SCMS-T method." It seems the Toshiba bluetooth stack is responsible for this, however, I fail to see why a device which is acting like headphones fails to connect now. I have Windows 7 64 installed. I have uninstalled all of the bluetooth drivers and re-installed them several times. Attached is a pdf file which shows all messages and settings relevant to the issue.

  • Connecting Mobile Devices to XI

I'm trying to find the best way to provide some functionality to allow mobile devices to make some simple enquiries and execute some simple processes via XI to an SAP ERP system. Some of the scenarios may be:
    Product Availability Check
    Product Ordering
    Delivery Status
Does anybody have some recommendations for the technologies to use? Is SAP MI a good (interpret as rapid and reliable) development platform for such applications?
I have also seen that the J2ME platform could be used.
Has anybody some real-life exprience and recommendations?

  • Installing 10.4.10 and cannot install Mobile Device Support. I have followed the documentation at the support pages and have totally cleaned out Apple software so that I could do a total clean "new" install. Still no success. Any suggestions?

In trying to install iTunes 10.4.1.10 I could not get Apple Mobile Device Support to work. Following Apple support (docs Ht1923 ?71926 + TS1538 et al) cleaned out all Apple software for a "new" install. Still can not get Mobile Device Support to install. What am I missing?

See also Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates if you haven't already done so.
After uninstalling iTunes and the related components it is useful to physically delete any files that may remain in the specified locations before attempting to reinstall.
If that still doesn't work you could try downloading 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and unpack the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe file into its components then try installing them individually in alphabetical order (don't try to install SetupAdmin.exe or iCloud.msi). AMDS might not install right now, but you may get a more useful error message as to why not, and you might be able to run iTunes even if you can't update your devices at this stage.
Make sure you download a fresh copy of the installer as it was updated some time after the initial release.

  • Java ME SDK 3.0-"Cannot connect to device manager" on port 1299 error HELP!

    Hello,
I am running Vista 32 bit. I just downloaded the Java ME sdk 3.0. It installed "successfully". I just tried to launch it several times and it gets stuck in the error below. In summary, something about "Connection refused to host: localhost; DeviceManagerConnection error". Why am I getting that error? This is the first time I installed this.
I run netstat -an, and nothing shows that something is taking up my 1299 port. Also "ping localhost" returns ::1:. And my hosts file looks good. Windows Defender and Firewall are both off. Does anyone have had this issue in the past? If so, please kindly let me know how you resolved it. Thank you.

    Hi there,
I believe I am having the problem reported by the first person in this thread.
In fact, I installed NetBeans and ran a Java ME sample and it gave me the following error
Jad URL for OTA execution: http://localhost:8082/servlet/org.netbeans.modules.mobility.project.jam.JAMServlet/C%3A/Users/Afamefuna/Documents/NetBeansProjects/CurrencyConverter3/dist//CurrencyConverter3.jad

BUILD FAILED (total time: 26 seconds)
Of course, I went to the file but the stipulated line didn't make much sense. Eventually, I seperately installed Java(TM) ME Platform SDK 3.0, but when I doubled clicked on its icon to open it, the initial splashscreen showed up, but when the progress bar got to "+{color:#ff0000}starting modules....{color}+", it gave me a java.net.ConnectionException error.
When I went to the generated log file, amongst other things, it also contained the following snippet
    +Connecting to service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/*{color:#ff0000}rmi://localhost:1299/device-manager{color}< </strong>[  23398] ERROR - un.jme.toolkit.bootstrap.Batch - Problem calling start() on DeviceManagerConnection java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException+

    + at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39)+
    + at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25)+
From the above I can only imagine there is a problem with the device manager set-up for SDK, but how can it be solved?
The device manager icon shows up in the windows toolbar, however, the "device manager" menu choice is greyed out.
This same problem was replicated in my friend's PC, so I am certain this has to do with low-grade packaging/programming from the vendor end.
Please how do I solve this problem? I am hoping that solving one problem, resolves the other.
    thanks

  • X230 Cannot connect bluetooth device

    Hi All,
I know other people have posted similar issues but this one doens't match any other so I'll ask the community for help.
I have an X230 running WinXP, and I cannot find a way to add a Bluetooth device to the computer.
The latest bluetooth driver for XP is installed. The Bluetooth is enabled in the BIOS.
The Bluetooth icon is in the systray. It is Red.
All I can do is right click on it - it says "Bluetooth Device not found".
In My Computer, the My Bluetooth places icon doesn't do anything when I click it other than create a shortcut on my Desktop.
When I click the Desktop shortcut, it only runs a Bluetooth file transfer wizard sugessting Bluetooth is working.
I cannot find an add device bluetooth wizard anywhere. Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

  • Can't connect mobile devices to HWIC-AP-AG-B.

    Hey everyone.
I just started a home CCNA lab and I've begun with an 1841. So I could toy around with wireless, I bought an access point WIC, the HWIC-AP-AG-B. I've configured one SSID, 1841_WLAN, with a WPA2-PSK security code "password" and both dot11radio interfaces, 0/1/0 and 0/1/1, have AES and TKIP ciphered encryption. As for IP addresses, I have a DHCP pool, also named 1841_WLAN, providing dynamic addresses with a default gateway address set as the IP of the dot11radio0/1/0 interface, 172.16.1.62/27.
When I connect my laptop to the SSID, it is given a dynamic IP address with no problems; the first one in the range as expected. However, when I try to connect my iPhone or iPad, it gives them link-local 169.254.x.x addresses.
I've done a lot of research and I can't find the solution to this. I did learn that Apple devices aren't friendly with WEP but I'm using WPA2 so that shouldn't affect me. If anyone knows a possible solution to this, please let me know. I can provide any snippets of my sh running config output upon request so let me know if it would help. I'm still a beginner...
    Thanks for reading.

    Hi,
Configure only AES as encryption & disable TKIP. That should work
WPA2 require AES & not TKIP, when you configure both AES & TKIP , some clients do not like it.

  • After update iTunes to the version 11.2.2(3) on MacBook Pro I cannot connect any apple device. iTunes is "hanging". do U have the same problems?

after updat iTunes to the 11.2.2(3) ver I cannot connect any device iTunes after connect device (iPad3, IP5S) is hanging.. and I have to force iTunes to close. do U have the same problems?

    Hey there Michal115,
It sounds like you are unable to connect your iOS devices without it becoming unresponsive. That would frustrate me too. I would use the following article about that very issue to help you resolve that:
iTunes: May become unresponsive when connecting iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3219
Start with these 3 steps to make sure the other devices are up to date as well, and there is additional troubleshooting to be done in the article if needed:
Install any available software updates for your computer.
For Mac OS X: Click the Apple () menu, choose Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions.
For Windows: Refer to the documentation for your computer for instructions on using Windows Update to update your computer.
Update iTunes to the latest version.
For Mac OS X: Click the Apple () menu, choose Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also download iTunes from the Apple website.
For Windows: Use Apple Software Update, or download iTunes from the Apple website.
    Test with automatic syncing disabled.
For Mac OS X: Click the iTunes menu and choose Preferences. Click the Devices tab and place a check next to option to "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically." Click OK.
For Windows: Click the Edit menu and choose Preferences. Click the Devices tab and place a check next to option to "Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically." Click OK.
Reconnect your device and test to see if the issue still occurs. If your device is recognized successfully, you may be able to isolate which type of data is causing the issue. Do this by deselecting all syncing options under each of the syncing tabs and then sync. After that, re-enable your sync options one at a time until the issue returns.
Note: If the issue only occurs when syncing data from the Info tab is enabled (For example: Contact, Calendar, Mail account or Bookmark syncing), reset the Sync History (for Mac OS X instructions see this article, for Windows see this article).
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • Can't connect wireless device to airport extreme

I bought airport extreme router second hand and am connecting it to HP desktop windows 8.  All software is installed properly and router is connected.  I have a solid green light, and internet access on desktop, but cannot connect wireless devices to network (kindle, cell phone, etc.)  All wireless devices show excellent network signal strength, allow me to put the password in, but all show connected and have not internet access.

This appears to be a simple modem, so assuming that you reset the modem completely before you connected it to the AirPort Extreme, the next step would be to check to insure that the AirPort is in router mode and not bridge mode.
Open up AirPort Utility, click on the AirPort Extreme, and then click Manual Setup
Click the Internet icon at the top of the window
Click the Internet Connection tab just below that
Make sure that the setting for Connection Sharing is set to Share a public IP address
Click Update to save any changes, and give the AirPort a full minute to restart
Check the network again to see if devices can connect now.
