Cannot connect to internet after downloading itunes 7

I downloaded itunes 7, sort all my music on to itunes ready to sync my ipod, try to connect to internet but can't, I had to uninstall itunes to get here to ask why this happens. This has happened twice. (Winamp is alot more flexible with the music)

When you say you can't connect to the internet, do you mean iTunes can't connect but otherwise the internet is OK?
If so the most likely thing is is a problem with your firewall. To test this briefly disable it and see if iTunes can connect. If it can, you need to reconfigure your firewall to allow the new version of iTunes to access the internet.
If you don't know how to do this, which firewall are you using?

Twice I have upgraded to Windows 10 in the last two days but each time after I cannot connect to my home wifi or indeed any wifi.I have tried updating drivers, changing router channel before giving up and rolling back to Windows &.Obviously I would like to upgrade but it's proving very difficult with my limited tech knowledge on the inner workings of the laptop though I am very good at following step by step instructions.The problem is that once I have upgraded I cannot do anything because I have no internet to search for possible solutions.Is there anyone who can help me sort this out and anything I need to do before upgrading again.The wifi will connect to my home router but it shows as LIMITED and there is no internet access.I would be grateful for any help.Thank you. After updating my ipad to IOS 7, I got a message "cannot connect to the internet."
From the apple communities, this is a common problem.
I tried completely turning off the ipad - unsuccessful
I tried resetting the network settings (settings, general, reset, reset network settings) - unsuccessful
The next suggestion was a general reset (settings, general, reset, reset all settings), but this would require a full restore afterwards.
Apple support at that stage suggested rebooting the home internet (turning off the modem/router, unplugging it and waiting 10 seconds, replug and turn back on)
Success!
This is an easier option than full reset, and worked in my circumstance

Frequently, after a software update to the old computer, it has trouble getting back on to the internet. Usually, adjusting access to the Keychain fixes this.
Now, after a software update last week--I cannot get on the internet with this computer at all. The computer is connected to the network, the password is in the keychain, the signal is strong (all of the other computers can get on to the network)--but whenever I try to get on, I get 'cannot connect to the server'.
(btw, Last evening, the issue resolved itself for about 3 hours--I don't know why--but today it is out again.) Can anyone help?

Hi, Rathh. Always use Disk Utility to repair permissions immediately after installing any software update that uses Apple's Installer application, or that is installed by the Software Update function accessed through the Apple Menu.

after downloading it will not connect to internet, IE does. I have uninstalled /installed many times. when uninstalling a security message as follows comes up asking to be quarantined: firefoxhelper

I have run virus/malware, cleared temp files/disk cleanup & still no luck.

As we say back home you really screwed the pooch. OK Put your install disk back in and restart the computer while holding down the C key. This will start you up from the disk so you can access Disk utility from the installer program. Click the first aid tab, select your drive and run repair disk.

Yes, when I look in my applications and view the version there it shows 10.7. However when I open Itunes and view itn the "about itunes" tab, a window scrolls showing that I have 10.5. Ive downloaded the newest version at least three times. Is there someting Im missing or not doing. Once downloaded it says it was done sucessfully.

Today morning i installed this 3G compatibility fix via nokia suit.
After while i noticed, that my phone is unable to connect to internet.
Indicator on the top of the screen shows that 3,5G network is established, but when i open browser (or any other app), it cannot connect.
I tried to reinstall firmware via nokia suit, but no luck.
What should i do now? Any ideas?

I have a new iMac and connect to internet with a data card (modem) Huawei E303.
It worked fine until after the upgrade from 10.7.4 to 10.7.5.
Now I can connect but there is no measurable signal. Other computers work using the same data card.

The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

I update my system a few day ago (use systemd to replace rc.d) and I cannot connect internet. I guess my router table is broken, but I cannot find any problem.
I use ping to try some IP. And I find I connect to local machine only.

I use eth2 to connect to internet, for example, update system. I try to disable eth1, but it is still not work.

Iphone cannot connect to web after downloading ios 8.1.3

My iPhone was working until I download ios 8.1.2. Then the web button is "grayed" out. Local Sprint store could not figure it out. Ive tried turning the phone off and then back on to no avail. Also rebooted router, still no luck. Any other users have this problem and a fix?

sorry to say that this could be due to 8.1.3 software problem since rainy had already been apple service centre for help when rainy was at wits end:'(
yet rainy was told that this cannot be fixed which wifi function is burned as it may due to older model phone which is not compatible with the latest software(8.1.3) that causes this to happen...
what a disappointment APPLE has given to rainy since this is a software issue...think rainy is not the only one who has encountered this, it should not prompt consumer to upgrade the software since this is the case...
Despite from wifi faulty,rainy's battery life is shortened ...battery will be drained out overnight while it is fully charged without using at all:'( in addition it has started lagging & screen brinking)

Cannot connect to internet after airport firmware upgrade

I bought a new Airport Extreme Base Station, hooked it up, and it worked just fine. Then it asked for a firmware upgrade, which I installed. Now the base station will not connect to the internet. I've tried re-booting my cable modem, re-starting the base station, etc. No luck. Pending an answer to this question, I re-installed my prior Airport Extreme base station, and it worked just fine. It wants me to do a firmware update, but I'm understandably reluctant.

Thanks Chris. One of posts in this thread mentioned the possibility of a corrupt file in the operating system. I reloaded 10.7 using a flash drive I made and then did a hard reset of my Airport Extreme. That solved the problem. I hope this helps.

Strong wifi connection but cannot connect to Internet after upgrade to ios5

After upgrade to ios 5, my iPad 2 connect to the wireless router just fine. However, it take forever to connect to a website. Following suggestion from someone, I switch my router off then on, it work. But after a day, the problem came back. Switch off and on the router solve the problem again..
This connection problem appear periodically since, it is very annoying.
Anyone know the reason for this connection problem and any solution?. thanks a lot.
