Cannot connect to itunes "Failed to find Service Connection URL"

I'm trying to connect to itunes with my apple ID (on macbook pro) and I keep getting the error message: "ConnectionManager::Invoke::failed to find service connetion url" I've tried resetting my password, reinstalling itunes and I've checked I'm not connected the app store.
Please help it's sending me insane!

I had the same issue since installing the new iTunes. Log out of iTunes (logging back in did not fix the problem for me).  I performed a safe boot (restart your laptop and hold down the shift key until the login screen appears). Log in, open disk utility in the applications/utilities folder, and run disk repair. Restart your computer and login to iTunes. This fixed the problem for me.

  • Error message when trying to sign in with iTunes: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url.

I recently signed out of itunes on my imac and when i tried to sign back in i get the error message: ConnectionManager::invoke::failed to find service connection url. If i try again i get another box asking if i've forgotten my password. But my password is definitely right as i just used to it make an account on this support page. Any simple ways of fixing this?

Just to test the simple things first, did you try to sign in using another credential?

  • ITunes: Connection manager::invoke:: failed to find service connection url

I have a new Mac Mini and when I tried to enter my password in iTunes to do anything it gives me this error:
Connection manager::invoke:: failed to find service connection url
I noticed the problem when I was trying to transfer my purchases from my iPad to iTunes. It started giving me this error when I typed in my password.
I have tried restarting iTunes, logging out, deauthorize (it dindt let me do that because it did not accept my password), switching passwords, everything.
The password works on my iPad, iPhone, and the app store. It seems to just be having trouble in iTunes.
    Anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks for your help

Anyone know why I cannot get into my iTunes account from my Apple TV.  I keep getting a connection failed message "failed to find service connection URL".  Wifi network working just fine and I can access my account from pc no problem.

You can only login to your account under Settings for iTunes Store.
If having issues try restarting your router and AppleTV.

  • TS1424 Message saying...Connection Manager invoke failed to find service connection URL why?

When I go to sign in it iTunes a message comes up stating:  Connection Manager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url.  Does anyone know what this means and how to fix this issue?

Check over on the right side of the thread here under More Like This. Look for one that has a green checkmark which means it is answered. I have read of this however, I do not know how to solve it. It seems as though it is one particular carrier this happens to.

  • I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error .  It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url

the iPad is totally new to me.  I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID.  As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error.  It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url.  Cancel or Retry.  I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'd also love to know how to get rid of the old owner's name, which was Mike - I'm Ann

Wow, I found a solution in another thread:
    I had exact same error.....
    Rebooting - Failed
Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS    I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.
    Good luck!
I still need to know how to change the name to Ann, though, Mike keeps popping up - and yes, I have changed it under Settings.....

fixed this: CONNECTION MANAGER INVOKE FAILED TO FIND SERVICE CONNECTION URL

Okay, so I had the same problem with logging in with this error message: "itunes connection manager invoke failed to find service connection url"
I had this problem that I did not see immediately:
    - unpaid app from App Store,
    - and unpaid music file from a Itunes Store
and I solved it by doing the following:
I logged out of itunes store
I logged out of App store
I logged in online here in the support section
I logged back into App store
Updated my payment details (changing credit card helped...)
Logged back into iTunes store, accepted back payment for outstanding app and music file
    It now logs back in.

  • HT1918 Can't access My Account!  - "Failed to find service connection URL"

iTunes recognizes me, and I'm logged in. However, when I try to access my account, I continue to get an error message:
Connection Manager Failed Invoke: Failed to find service connection URL
    I can't access my account!
I am beyond frustrated with Apple and their lack of customer support. Since iTunes is a free app, I was told it's not supported by their customer service (the fact that I spend a ton from the store doesn't seem to matter). My fault for not going with Amazon!
Anyway, I'm stuck!! Can anyone please help?

  • Keep getting ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection service url

I just started getting "ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url" on my AppleTV 2nd Gen.
Only my AppleTV is having this problem. Our iPhones, MacBooks and iPad are all fine.
Signed out and back in serveral times, but no luck.
    Apple TV SW Version 5.3
Googling around I see other folks having this problem, but I couldn't find a definitive solution posted anywhere.
Does anyone know of a solution to this issue?
    Thanks in advance.

Having the same issue.  Updated with 5.3 recently and was fine for a few days, then randomly started and unable to load purchased movies.  Restarted; and then Reset and loaded 5.3 again.  Made no difference. Randomly works (i.e. can play a movie) but mostly not.  Signed out of ITunes account and currently unable to sign in again. So no Apple TV Itunes Store services at all.  Same ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url message appearing constantly.  Assume 5.3 is at issue?  Unsure how to resolve.
