"Cannot connect to iTunes Store" anyone else having this problem?

Good afternoon all
I have been unable  to connect to the iTunes store for 3 days. I have read everything there is to read on line and I have tried hard resets etc but to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem and could it be a server fault (I am in the UK)
Any help or new ideas would be very much appreciated

    Try rebooting the computer and restarting the device.
    Try a different cable.
    In rare cases fluff in the connector port can prevent proper contact with the connectors used to transfer data. An air duster or thin piece of card or plastic can be used to tease out debris if that is the problem.

    Ok ...
    Try troubleshooting extensions and third party plugins.
    From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
    If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
    Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect:  Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
    If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

    I have windows on my mac which was installed at the apple store. I have lost audio and cannot connect to the internet on the windows side. Mac is ok. apple genius and tech support can't help me and say I need to go to microsoft. In fact the tech support was unaware that windows was loaded on by the apple retail store. Has anyone else had this problem?I recently bought fusion thinking this would help bridge between the two( as told by the genius bar) but it didn't help.Any ideas?

    hey mate i used to have the same problem and i got computers maintenance guys out to fix it in the end and all it was, was the router.. got a new one and it was all good after that! i think some routers just arent compatible for some reason or another.

    Well, if they have truly disappeared then something is really messed up. For really messed up stuff, you need to set it to factory default condition, and then afterwards, restore it from your backup.

    I'm trying to buy a video and I keep getting a message that says, "This Apple ID cannot be used for the iTunes Store." Anyone else having this problem? I just bought a movie last night without any problem.

    I am having the same problem. You are only able to purchased when you first open Itunes after the first purchase  the password and login details are no longer accepted by the itunes store. This has only happened after  I installed the latest Itunes (11.03 (42)) so I assume that it is a bug in the software that that corrupted something on my mac.
    On the bright side it means I do not give apple money

    I do apologize about the issues you are experiencing with your device and I will be more than happy to assist you with resolving those issues. First step will will take in resolve the issues will be by updating your device.
    On your phone, dial *228
    Select option 2 when prompted
    Listen to be advised that the update was successful
    The device will power off and on (if this is not completed automatically, complete is manually)
    Once the device is power back, go ahead and check to see if you are able to send and receive picture messages and that your 3G is working properly. If not, here is a link to additional troubleshooting information:
