can anyone help???  all my apps have now come off the phone...I cannot authorize my computer at home....I am so frustrated.....

After months of trying, I found the answer for me here with wiclee to dunetraker april 2012. I wasnt sure how to connect to his answer so I copied it. Here it is:

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt",
Well, it didn't all copy but if you search you will find it. It explains how to use command prompt to enter "netsh winsock reset".  I tried so many different things and this is the only thing that worked. Thanks to wiclee.

    More than likely its your router. You need to make sure that the router's firewall, if enabled(most are by default), permits connection to these domains as trusted:
    * itunes.apple.com
    * ax.itunes.apple.com
    * albert.apple.com
    * gs.apple.com

    I cannot connect to itunes store from my iphone 4. v4.2.10.  It use to work and now I keep getting this error, any suggestions.

    You don't have another device like a mac book or a mac sitting close to it while you do this do you?   When I try to use the iPad next to a Powerbook 800 while both have to connect to the wireless in my house, usually the iPad loses and gets incomplete connections.  I have to move about 10 feet away from the other device.

  • HT201412 "cannot connect to iTunes Store" from my iphone

    When I try to update or download apps, i get the following message:  "cannot connect to iTunes store".  HELP

    If you are doing it using Wifi I would try to refresh the connection.
    I do this quickly by turning Airplane mode on for a few seconds to disconnect from 3G and WiFi.  When you turn Airplane mode off you should reconnect to your networks.  This may clear the problem.
    If not reset your phone, hold the Home and power button's down at the same time until the Apple logo apears on screen.  wait for your phone to restart.  You may have to log into your wifi network if it is secured.

  • Cannot connect to iTunes store from any device

    I can't seem to connect to iTunes store from my Macbook pro, iPhone or iPad. This problem just happened recently, no idea what's wrong.

    Hi tracyk223,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!  It is puzzling that you cannot access the iTunes Store from three different devices.  Were you able to access other websites?  The first step would be to make sure your internet connection is working.
    Another thing to try would be to follow the steps for the iPhone in the article below and see if you can make a cellular connection instead of using Wi-Fi.

    Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update(iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
    Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
    Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
    If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.
    Hopefully, one of the troubleshooting steps outlined in the article will get you back on track...
    Happy Holidays!

  • "Cannot Connect to iTunes store" from phone.

    Weird problem:  For some reason I cannot download new Apps to my iPhone 4s from the phone.  I can update existing apps fine, and I can search for new apps fine, but if I want to install a new App from the iTunes store on the phone itself, I always get a message: "Cannot connect to itunes store".  It happens on WiFi, on 3g, on Edge... I've restarted the phone and reinstalled the software from scratch.
    It's not an issue I've had before, on my 3gs.  Any ideas?  It's an annoying issue to say the least....

    I believe for apps you use the app store.
    The itunes store is to download music/shows/video is that what your trying to download.

    any suggestion ?
    Be patient. The App Store is having issues today. In the morning, the "check for updates" function could not be accessed. In the afternoon, that was fixed, but reviews of apps could not be entered. This seems to be the latest problem (also occurring for me, so it's the App Store, not your phone). So, try again later - they'll get it sorted at some point soon!

  • Cannot connect to iTunes Store from my iPad mini

    I can't connect to iTune store from my iPad mini after upgraded to IOS7.

    Thanks this worked for me.  Only mine was already set to "From third parties and advertisers".  I just switched it to "never".  Then I opened itunes and it worked.  So I went back and changed it to "From third parties and advertisers" and all is well.  iTunes works fine!
    I was hesitant to restore to factory settings and install from a back up as other people advised online.

  • IPod Touch 4G - Cannot Connect to iTunes Store from AppStore App

    I have three iPod Touch 4G in the house. All running 5.1.1 iOS. Mine (that I use everyday, can access the App Store and Updates just fine. My wife's iPod (which hasn't been used for a few weeks) cannot access the App Store, Updates without the error "Cannot Cannect to iTunes Store". Both are using the same network router on WiFi. Both have internet access and I can browse on both just fine. All other functions of the App Store app work fine EXCEPT Updates.
    She did have 7 updates initially and I went to iTunes under Apps and UPDATED them all with an exception, one of them downloaded but failed to show "downloaded" it still says "update" on a little tag. This makes me think that something is "stuck" in queue within iTunes Store for that account.
    I have tried EVERY fix mentioned that I can find and this simply makes no sense.
    Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

    Actually this was solved. I found a thread that detailed what to do to fix it and it worked for me.
    Essentially, double-click the main button and shut down the App Store (if running)
    Go to "Settings", "General" and "Date & Time"
    Change the date (turn OFF "Automatic") to WAY in the future (like 2025)
    Then back out of settings by using the button in the upper left (so settings are saved)
    Now, open the App Store and click quickly on something OTHER than Updates
    Now click on Updates - you should get a security warning
    Without closing the App Store, go back to Settings, General, Date & Time and set the date back to "Automatic"
    Again, back out of the settings to save the date information
    Now go back to the App Store and it should load the Updates tab properly. You may need to re-enter credentials.
    That fixed it for me. Thanks to HOLEPUNCH for the fix.

    Doublechecking one odd thing from the diagnostics.
    Current user is not an administrator.
    Is that true? Or does your Windows user acount have full admin rights?
    If you do actually have an administrative account, the false result in the iTunes diagnostics can sometimes indicate idiosyncratic permissions trouble that has been known to interfere with Store connections.
    Let's try an experiment. I'd like to try doing a "Run as administrator" on your iTunes.
    Quit iTunes first.
    In Computer, open Local Disk C: or whichever drive you have your program files installed on.
    Open the "Program files (x86)" folder.
    Open the "iTunes" folder.
    Right-click on the iTunes.exe file and select "run as administrator".
    Run your network connectivity tests again. Do they now say "Current user isan administrator"? If so, do you also now get a proper Store connection?
